★★★★! The Billionaire's Son series, Part 1-8 (Complete series). Quick and light read with a great storyline!

I have been eyeing this Erotic (BDSM) series for awhile, but I was apprehensive that it was just going to pages upon pages of sex with no storyline. Surprisingly, on the contrary, the Billionaire's Son series very much has a storyline – it’s centered around a mystery. There are secrets, hidden agendas, powerful men in clandestine sex clubs, orgies, money laundering, add to that scorching sex scenes with a hot alpha male…

This series consists of 8 parts/novellas that combined make up a 70,000 word read. Series is complete, all set to be read. Book/part 1 is currently FREE on Amazon US.

Julia Collins (forensic accountant/32 years/brown hair) is hired by a Billionaire to perform some top secret forensic accounting. Due to the nature of the job she works at his mansion. There she comes in contact with his only son, Derek Vaughn (30’s/businessman-playboy/$$$/black hair/grey eyes). At first glance Derek comes across as a jaded, spoiled and even arrogant alpha male, but as the book progresses you will see some more layers to him. I really enjoyed him. Derek and Julia are thrown into as well as thrown together to uncover a mystery in a world the secret society sex clubs and the most powerful men in the world (some light BDSM). There is suspense, intrigue, hot sex and more all wrapped up into a feel good read.

This book has a highly unbelievable plot and a very unlikable cast. I think my main issue with this book is that while I'm not against having a dominant male lead but the main female tried to defend herself before submitting and yet he took no notice of it. Perhaps if they story was longer or had more verbal communication in it we would understand why he didn't do as she asked but as it is they had only just met. It was a bit to rapey for my liking even if she did enjoy it in the end.

Hot but it finishes when the heat gets going in the book, I never realised it was a series but that explained the cliffhanger. You may need to dig deep if you want to read until the end, not sure if I bother because I am starting to get fed up with all the force sales, a book for me needs a begining and a end even if there are more to come in the stories.

Unbelievable set of circumstances. Serialized so this isn't a full story. You want that...keep buying the books. Characters were not likable, but since it was in first person you only see the heroine's site. Extremely short.

That's it? Really?
This was like... capital letter, full stop. Et voilla! A story, not just a sentence. And oh yes, don't forget... the whole story was constructed on one word, fuck!
Again, really?

No real plot or storyline, but damn was it hot. A change of panties and cold shower is definitely required after reading this dirty, quick read.

My Rating: ★★☆☆☆

The Billionaire's Son by Arabella Quinn, published on January 26, 2015, by Smashwords, is a straightforward contemporary romance that offers a quick and easy read.

The story revolves around Julia, who works at the estate of billionaire Jackson Vaughn. Despite weeks of working there, she has never encountered anyone besides the staff. However, when she finds herself without clothes after a shower at the poolside cabana, she discovers there's a special visitor at the estate that day.

Arabella Quinn's writing style makes the book accessible and fast-paced, perfect for readers seeking a light and uncomplicated romance. The plot, while simple, unfolds smoothly and keeps the reader engaged with its premise of unexpected encounters and romantic tension.

However, despite its readability, The Billionaire's Son falls short in leaving a lasting impression. The characters lack depth, and the storyline, though entertaining in the moment, lacks the substance that would compel a reader to revisit the book.

In conclusion, The Billionaire's Son serves its purpose as a quick and light romance read. While it may not be a book I would personally reread, it offers an enjoyable escape for those looking for a straightforward love story with a touch of intrigue. Arabella Quinn delivers an easy-to-digest narrative that will appeal to fans of contemporary romance seeking a quick diversion.

Disappointed!!

To say I was disappointed was to say the least. I picked this book because it's from a best selling author.. These books are too short and once the steaming lines start between the main character the book is over.. Not a happy reader at all...

The Billionaire's son

Definitely interesting, I kind of want to know more. This is definitely just a teaser for the other books. Very short and quick read not a full story in my opinion. Not much character development, just a beginning novella.

Total rip off. Almost 4 bucks for less the. 30 pages, this is a total rip off as is all the books in this series, books what. Joke, you get 15-20 pages. It’s a total rip off. Create a book, then charge accordingly. I’ll never buy from you again! It makes readers block you.

Porn

Lol straight porn. No plot. Someone literally converted their adult film screenplay into a short story. And honey, if you think that's kink then lordy how vanilla are you.

This series includes 8 Novellas/Short stories.
This first "book" had an interesting premise, but was ultimately a book-tease or warm-up.

Hot!
Julia is an accountant and has just taken on an assignment for a rich client. The client discovered something isn't right and hires Julia to uncover what is going on, he suspects his playboy son Derek.
Besides the money and the challenge there are perks to this job. Due to the long hours she is permitted to stay at the estate and even indulge in the luxeries like the pool.
During one of these breaks times Julia allowed herself she finds all her clothing, towels, washclothes, wet bathing suit..everything gone from the bathroom while she was showering. Before gathering the courage to make a mad, naken, dash to the house she hears voices.
A quick peek and show later she finds herself face to face with Derek...

Warning contains spanking and hot action.

It is a quick 'story' but I loved it. Excited, hot and leaves you wanting more. *If I had the money right now I'd continue to read on but alas I cannot. This was a Amazon freebie and was sooo worth it.

Great start to a series, and if this is any indication to whats ahead this will be a great series.

This starts out as Julia taking a new job with Jackson Vaughn to find out where the discrepancy's are coming from within the companies money flow. While working at Vaughn's estate Julia decided to take a short break in the pool...after her relaxing swim she takes a short shower in the cabana only to find her canvas bag, clothes, bikini, and towel all missing. With nowhere to go she is forced to stay in the cabana while Derek (the son of Jackson Vaughn) entertains 2 women by the pool. When Derek finds Julia after having watched the entire scene Derek takes it upon himself to show Julia what happens when girls are naughty.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series...

Trust me, after the last book I read Wilderness I needed a light read and this was it!

A short book which is a shame, there's a potentially good story in place and I wanted more from book one.

The sex scene at the end did push the limits on consent(as another reviewer mentioned - we'll see how book 2 plays out)
I'll get the next one to see how it goes - looking forward to it.

UPDATE
Nearly two pound for 24 pages is a rip off - I got this one as an Amazon freebie - but the series (one average lengh book in total) would cost over a tenner - it wasn't that good.

Boring

Not that this was completely horrible, but it was just so boring. The encounter between the accountant and the billionaire's son is just weird. It's not believable and where the check did her clothes go? If there's no real answer to this then I say that it's pretty obvious that everyone is in on getting Derek to settle down with this accountant to stop his playbook ways. There is nothing really original about this story line so there's no reason to read the rest of the series. I can see why this is a free e-book short story, no substance.

This book took me about 15 minutes to read, which was okay as it filled the bus trip just right. I was enjoying the background story, but it suddenly changed tact (stroy line and tone) to a raunchy, no holds bar place I was not sure I wanted to go to. I want to find out what the accountant finds out in her investigation rather than the itty gritty details of their sexual encounter - which may say more about me than the book!

Super short so the steamy scene obviously had to be introduced pretty quickly and again, because it was an extremely short story, it just read like porn >.<... really must learn to stay away from short reads like this. I'm finding I'm not able to give some writers a fair chance because of the length and I realize some writers can't pull off short stories but can write a fairly decent novel... No need to heed my words, it's personal taste as you can see.

This is a short story so don't expect a happy ending. It leaves you on the edge to buy the next (total of 8 in series so far). She gets hired by the millionaire to stay at his house and be his personal accountant and try to figure out what is going on in his company and that includes investigating his son too who is part of the money issues. While at the empty house the son comes to play at the pool with two female friends. He catches her watching and decides to make her join in.

I am very sorry to say this, but I absolutely hated these short stories!

No disrespect, but could the writer create a more idiotic and goddamn annoying heroine?! The answer is bloody NO! She is the queen of idiots and imbeciles!

I wanted to smash my tablet after reading these “Eyes wide shut” copies!!!!! Stanley Kubrick is really pissed that his idea is butchered beyond belief!!!!

This book was a very quick read, and I needed at that moment.
It was a good short story.

It was about a 32-year old investigator, she gets hired by a billionaire.
Everything seems pretty laid back, until she meets his son, in a very special and hot way.
Can't wait to read about their other adventures!

Three stars for this book, because I'm hoping that it will get better!

An enjoyable short quick read. I did like it but it was so short that I barely was hooked in. The whole idea of Julia doing this investigation and what not is interesting. However, I feel like the story could've been expanded more in this book. I'll have to read more of the series before deciding how I really feel

I was really getting into this mini story. Imagine getting caught watching the guy you were investigating having a threesome at his fathers house.

This was a really hot read and once it was starting to get good it was over.

Actually I lied, I never finished it. Completely unbelievable. And gross. The "son" has uprotected sex with the Barbi bimbos and minutes later with the main character in this story. Seriously? No thanks.
