Skip, and his wife Karen, started selling books, antiques and collectibles on eBay and later expanded to house and garden wares and photographic equipment. Karen quit her job to do eBay full time in 2000 and Skip left an executive position with a Fortune 100 company to concentrate on eBay and Amazon full time in 2004.
