Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

Ouch, Daddy is trademark Dani Wyatt with a sweet-as-sugar heroine, instalove, and smex hot enough to fog your Kindle screen. There’s minimal plot to be found here. So, if that’s what you’re after, look elsewhere. If not, enjoy this smutty one-handed read for exactly what it is!

This is one of those books where there is no real plot. Just smut and for your own self pleasure. I know it's a little dumb for me to keep picking up these 2-star read books when I know, they're going to be mediocre at best, but it helps me from falling into a slump.

As for the book itself, it was fine. Some people would find it problematic but in land of fiction and zero moral consequences, we are all heathens here.

This made me more uncomfortable than anything.
You raised your best friends daughter since she was 12 and all of a sudden she turns 18 and she’s fair game ? Felt like grooming.
And what 18yo girl doesn’t know the basic of anatomy. I appreciate specifying different body but didn’t she have sex ed at some point ?

The ending, the epilogue nope.

oh my!

I think this was my favorite out of this series!it did not disappoint! If you’re looking for a short but super spicy smut read this is for you! Not safe for the work place lol! Dani Wyatt books are always great and surprising! I love that that they are not copy and paste. Each book is its very own. Reuben and Catrina set these pages on fire and had me squirming from the start! Can’t wait to see what comes from Dani’s brilliant mind next!

‘The most DD/LG of all of them IMO’

So Dad dies leaving BFF to raise daughter with his drunk widowed wife. BFF has always been in daughters life as her “second Daddy”. He has given her anything and the best of everything. He built the home they live in with her in mind in every detail. If he is not at work he is with his daughter. The mother is cruel and pathetic. She is for sure jealous of the daughter . To get her away he buys her a ticket out of town for a week after she says some cruel things about the daughters weight. He has been thinking of his daughter in intimate ways for a while at this point and that night he finds out he is not alone. He is very rough with her the first time. I didn’t like the mind games he played with her the first time either. I get trying to get her out of her head and the tabooness but some things felt not ok with me. BUT, all's well that ends well. The mother comes home and says more hurtful things. She doesn’t get away with it. I loved their future. The conclusion with the mother and how things turned out for them.

Ouch, Daddy is Reuben and Winona's foster daughter/Daddy story. After Winona's Dad dies his best friend Reuben takes on the responsibility of raising his daughter. But the feelings he has for her change as she matures. Now his need for his now adult foster daughter are more than he can deny. It was hot and spicy! If you like the Daddy / little trope you'll enjoy this one. I know I did.

Dani is super hit and miss with me, and this was a miss. Like Rueben said several times, he’s coercing her and manipulating her. It felt like there was very little consent on Winona’s part. Also, the whole making his plate and drink every night and all that rang a little too trad wife for me. The mom was a horrible person too but at least she called out the inappropriate interactions between Reuben and Dani…
