Love these short Supernatural instalove stories

These are short and full speed ahead. I enjoy the fact that the Monsters get their bride and they fall in love. Eventually they will faces war.

Seraphina is auctioned off as the next monster's bride and I'd bought by the vampire lord, Valerie. The connection is immediate and unbreakable. She does not fear him as he suspected she would.

While he believes he is protecting her from him, she offers her blood to protect him when the Church sends knights to retrieve her and try to kill Valorian with a sun relic. Sera's previously untapped magic saves him, and the remaining knights are sent back to the Church alone. It's a rebellion never before tried, but the two lovers vow to meet whatever force may be sent.

Valerian learns that two other monster lords have refused to return their brides, and the three agree to band together against whatever army they may face in order to keep the women they love. Stay tuned for the next episode to find out who lives and who dies.

I really enjoyed this book. I do *not* read vampire books. I don't. But, I really wanted to see where the story went after the first book so I did. I enjoyed it, although it had gaps too. Her collar also just seemed to disappear... and it was never explained why they thought of her as a holy relic or saint or whatever.

This actually would have been at least 4 stars if it had any length to the story at all. I know these are short stories. With that being said, this one is easily the shortest I've ever read, and I've read a lot! I would have loved to learn a bit more about the Undying Lord, as I was looking forward to this story the most.

The story would’ve been actually kind of cool if more went into it. The idea was there but wasn’t developed past the climax romance scene, then it was very much about finishing the story asap. Not a total waste of time but wouldn’t recommend, save your pennies ladies
