This was soooooo cute! Beau was a precious burly alpha with depression and so much self doubt. Archer was the sweetest anxious boi that I wanted to protect from all harm. Ruby is who I aspire to be when I grow up: confident and invested in herself. She was a badass cam girl and great communicator. They all had been working on their shit before meeting and it showed. All the happy Valentine’s Day vibes.

Flew through this romantic Omegaverse that had some nice cosy vibes as well as a fair bit of spice. all the characters are endearing and likeable, perfectly matched to each other with a great dynamic as scent matched mates. I enjoyed this book and it was a great way to wrap up February.

She could write no wrong! And with this book is no different.

Every single one of the books I've read from her (and there have been maaaany), I am always in awe about how respectful, tactful and lovely her characters move through life. Even when sh!t happens, and life gets hard.

This is an omegaverse book, so there's a lot of very to the point open door scenes. But also, there's heart and soul to the story, which is incredibly difficult to accomplish in a novella as short as this, and with a premise and world-building where we know a lot of the connections happen sort of instalovey-ly.

This Valentine novella set in the OV is cute and spicy, albeit predictable solid read. The characters are very sweet, featuring a plus size FMC and two softies for MMCs. I liked the premise, and wish I got to know more of the character’s origin stories. Maybe I’m not built for novellas, I want to know them better!

It felt focused the most on Archer’s character arc. He seemed to be the focal point in the story as a male omega. It didn’t feel focused solely on the FMC, like many OV books are. Overall a likable book, although I enjoy other Antoinette books better, like Feeling the Heat.

This was so cute and exactly what I wanted from a Valentine’s omegaverse novella. Beau, Ruby and Archer meet at a blind date event (a blind date gone wrong in Archer’s situation) and realize they are scent matches which throws Archer into his first heat. These characters were so precious together and I loved how consent was brought up every step of the way. I’m always amazed how much depth Emily Antoinette is able to pack into her characters in such a short book. Events happen quickly and we get to the spice right after them meeting. But nothing felt rushed and the novella was well-paced. Such a sweet and spicy romance!

you have 3 different people coming together bc of 2 different blind dates. this is a fast paced, fast spice novella once all 3 collide and starts off Archer’s first heat. tho a pretty quick read, you still get discussion of fears and worries but also reassurances.

Review: I’m so happy I read this for the month of Valentine’s Day it was perfect! I absolutely adored Beau he was such a sweet character! Then Archer he was cute and anxious! Ruby is so cool and I love her confidence! It was nice to see how they were working and focusing on themselves before they met! It felt so refreshing to read! The spice was perfect !

“Can’t believe you’re both real, and you’re mine.”

From the very first chapter these characters exhibited such emotional honesty it was impossible NOT to fall in love with them! There were more than a few times that that very raw emotional exposure made me tear up and just feel so deeply for them! And the comfort that they find with each other is so magical!

And as emotionally tender as the first half was, the second half was hot hot hot! So steamy, so passionate, and so perfect for these characters to find their completion in each other. Oh so YUMMY!!

These characters are whole and real people with such identifiable insecurities that I find myself very invested in all of them and finding this HEA is SO satisfying! I loved all three characters, but seeing a fierce, confident, unapologetic, curvy FMC is just what my heart needed right now.

This is the perfect Valentine’s Day bon bon. Two blind dates, one successful, and the other, not, throws three people together, who happen to be scent mates. While two were matched as scent match mates, the third person scents one of the couple in the restaurant. They rescue him outside of the restaurant.

A heat is triggered, and with a heat comes marathon sex. What I really liked about this book was it was sex positive, especially with a plus size character who was sex positive and experienced. Things that made the characters real, or gave them depth, were a history of addiction, and depression, which affected self esteem, a credible fear of dominating alphas, and bullying.

There were a few cute coincidences that made the novella fun, though I might have been less charmed had this been a full length novel. Let’s just say the omegaverse is small in this iteration.

I give it a 4.5 on StoryGraph. Four stars for GoodReads, and Amazon when the novel drops. That said, this was an ARC that I volunteered to read and review. There was no compensation.

I know this is a novella, so there’s limited time to establish a relationship between characters but this barely did it at all. It established initial attraction, then did a sex fest, then jumped to an epilogue that was pretty much just exposition about how they established the relationship over the next four months, then a second epilogue that was another sex fest. I’m totally fine with books that are filled with sex but I do need more than what was here. I’m slightly annoyed because I really liked the characters, and the premise. Honestly, if you left out the two epilogues and just left it at them saying they were going to keep dating after the initial sex fest I would’ve enjoyed this a lot more but it just felt like a bit of a cop out.

This was the perfect February Valentine’s Day read! Beau is so cute, I’m obsessed with him. Everyone had such great chemistry and I can totally connect with the anxiety of meeting someone new. This made me want to read “feeling the heat” which takes place in the same universe. Definitely excited for more!!

It is no secret that I have been in my monster romance era for the last year or so, and that has gradually extended to include Omega-verse. Despite this and my love for Emily’s books, this is the first of her Blossomverse series I have had the pleasure to read and I can say that I immediately went to start reading Feeling the Heat!

Perfect Scent Match follows the three main characters in the journey to finding their matches.

Ruby is a confident, vivacious, plus-sized Omega who has had enough of trying to squeeze herself into the mould society expects her to fit in as an omega - even if it means she won’t find a pack of her own. She is happy in who she is and has built a fan-base who cheers her on, as a Slick Creator (OnlyFans) who specialises in Omega empowerment and pleasure. Despite this, she still yearns to find someone of her own - who will love her for who she is. And so she signs up to a Blind Dating service who set you up with your perfect scent match.

Beau has been hurt before - his previous pack betraying him and kicking him out because of their inability to understand his battle with depression. His sister, sees him for what he is, a sweet, handsome alpha, with a heart of gold and SO much to offer, so she signs him up to the Alpha/Omega Blinding Dating service. Encouraging him to get back out there and find someone or someones who can appreciate him, as he deserves.

Archer has just launched his first brick and mortar store for his business, selling unique and customisable candles that can replicate scent to anyone or anything. I freaking LOVED this novella. It was a short, sweet and SEXY introduction to Emily’s Blossomverse series!

I adored Ruby - for me she was the best part of their trio. She is the confident, sexy, badass - I only feel I can aspire to be! She is sweet and fiesty and SO sure of herself and her body. I loved her dedication to loving herself and helping others feel the same. Whether through making her clients feel good with a new haircut, or her subscribers and fellow actors through her spicy content. Not only this but she gives off the most delicious dommy mommy vibes and I was HERE for it.

Beau is the sweet, gentle giant. My heart ACHED for him and his struggles. Not only in his trauma from previous betrayal by his former pack, but with his battles with depression. His struggles are so familiar and he the subsequent feelings of being unloveable or a burden are something I can relate strongly to. Nonetheless, despite everything he has gone through and his ongoing battle with his depression and trauma, he remains the most loveable, sweet mmc. He is the BEST kind of alpha!

Archer is a sweet, bumbling ball of anxiety and he is adorable. He is an anxious bean who has only ever been told to be cautious of the world - meaning he avoids all forms of confrontation and definitely gives off people pleaser vibes. He is the perfect nerdy, soft mmc and I loved how he contrasts Ruby despite being the same designation.

I ADORED the relationship dynamics between the characters and loved how their individual relationships each provided them with something they wanted/needed. I don’t want to give away too much in regards to the plot because it is novella but despite it being such a quick, fun read, there are more serious themes and drama that take place to motivate the plot. Despite this, naturally, PSM is bursting with smut and spice.

There are MMF scenes but also some MM and MF interactions that build on their individual relationships. Communication and honesty has a major role within this book and it is executed beautifully.

Overall I adored this book. It is the perfect, sweet spicy read for Valentines Day, striking the perfect balance between sweet, spicy romance and more serious topics and themes. My only issue (if you can call it that) is the length. I could have read 100-200 more pages of their dynamic and been thoroughly entranced. Love Love Love 💖💖

This was the perfect sugary sweet treat read just in time for Valentine’s Day. Admittedly I don’t have fond feelings for the “holiday” but this adorable trio could change my mind with more of them together (hint hint, Emily ♥️). The story was perfect, wrapped up in a cute little bow and everything, but my greedy self wanted more — more of that shy cinnamon roll alpha with relatable depression and self-worth struggles, more of that anxious but beautifully compassionate and innocently sweet male omega, and more of the badass confident queen with gentle soft-dom vibes AND a sweet omega side that secretly just wanted someone to share her burdens. I *loved* all three characters, and thats before we even get into the way they all interact and work together so beautifully. I loved that none of them had any chill, all for their own reasons, and I love the way they came together. I won’t spoil anything, but it was super satisfying and Ruby is GOALS, lets be real.

Moving away from the plot before I say too much, I really enjoyed the way Emily wrote her omegaverse universe (shared with Allegra, who I also adore). It had all the things that I personally love reading about: purring for both omegas AND alphas, heats, knots AND locks, designations being genderless, packs, scent matches, bonding bites, and of course the struggles that come with the designations too. It made for a really satisfying read, especially the lack of jealousy between the MCs and no friction about choosing or weird feelings about it being a trio (a true why choose situation). It was 100% natural, no questions asked, easy and idk, I love that. I wish it were that easy in real life, so it makes for good fiction, especially good romance.

I also cannot post an ARC review without giving Emily her flowers for always writing diverse characters, whether its body size, orientation, disabilities, mental health, BIPOC — she’s dedicated to representing more than just the usual and I love that. I love that she makes them so relatable too, so even if I don’t see myself directly reflected in the characters, I still empathize with them, I still care about and root for them. They’re not just there for the sake of being there, they have depth and personality. Its just really refreshing and I can’t speak highly enough about it.

This book is so sugary sweet that I’m sure a trip to the dentist is in order. Ruby, Archer, and Beau were not only sweeter than candy hearts, but they also brought so much earnestness, honesty, communication, and passion to their relationship. This little omegaverse has quickly become one of my favourites in the genre. It’s the perfect shorter read, just in time for Valentine’s Day, but it’s got enough substance to not fall to the typical novella flaw of not having enough time for character development.

The COMMUNICATION. This is how characters should always communicate! They discussed their pasts and hopes for the future and BOUNDARIES. When one of them was hesitant or shy to speak up, the others gently encouraged them to share. They were respectful of any boundaries shared - when Beau mentioned early on about being sober, Ruby immediately checked in about if it was okay for her to have a drink while on their date. I adored the easy respect and compassion they gave to one another! They built such a quick but solid foundation that by the time it came to the sexy nest scenes I already knew that their time was going to be filled with consent (consent is sexy!) and passion and fun.

And boy, was I right! Ruby was such a delight, in and out of the bedroom! She brought in lots of fun, and fun toys, and I loved how she was portrayed as a beautiful, very desirable plus size woman! I adore seeing bigger women written this way, and the author did it beautifully! Beau was also written outside of the traditional hyper masculine alpha, being described as the “traditional” Thor, meaning he was solid and strong, but also a little soft. Sounds perfect to me!

I adored Ruby’s character, her confidence, and how she stepped out of the typical submissive role. I loved how the stereotypes were flipped on their head for both her and Beau. (Beau is the best alpha to ever alpha and I will take no arguments, thank you.) Archer was the sweetest anxious cinnamon roll and I’m glad that Beau and Ruby understood the assignment: protect and love this sweetheart at all costs.

I’m going to be quickly jumping headfirst into more of this author’s novels and already have another downloaded and ready to go. If they’re anything like Perfect Scent Match, she’s going to get a diehard in me.

I was in a book slump and had to DNF a couple of books when this novella landed in my kindle and let me tell you, instantly cured.

I was sucked into the story from the very first chapter, a nervous alpha preparing for his blind date was adorable. A plus sized, confident, spicy content creator FMC? Yes please! I loved Ruby so much, her confidence and her reassurance to her men was heartwarming. Archer, the sweet baby that he is made me fall in love with him instantly. Beau broke my heart in all honestly with his background and his insecurities and reading his journey as he finally found love and acceptance brought a tear to my eye. The character growth for all three MC's was beautifully and expertly done and I thoroughly enjoyed reading as their story unfolded. I am a sucker for an omega on omega pairing and loved the way Ruby guided Archer through his heat and understood what he was going through and what he needed.

I truly absolutely devoured this book and then immediately reread it, a huge mistake to start reading it at 2am but worth the no sleep. The love, acceptance, mental health rep and of course the spice was insanely good with toys as teammates. Lightly touching on the darker topics without letting them be the centre of the story and instead focusing on the bonds between characters in spite of their experiences made this book automatically shoot to the top of my favourite reads of this year so far. I say so far because I am heading to read the few of Emily's other books that I haven't yet read and I am sure they will captivate me as with the rest of her books.

If you like sweet, fluffy romance with plenty of spice then you will love this book. It has all the classic omegaverse tropes that we love; scent matching, bonding, heats and knotting galore. The perfect cozy valentines story to get you feeling loved up and warm and fuzzy!

It’s ironic that as soon as I start reading this, a short story that I’ve been waiting to read for a while, I suddenly get busy and it takes me a few days to finish, but I finally got there. It’s such a good, short, fast burn that I’m giving it 4.5 stars, rounded up. This pack was worth waiting for and reading about and there’s a lot of wholesome and moments which is definitely a bonus.

Now to gush about it; Rubyyyyyy! I love me a confident fat woman who knows her worth and she brought that onto the table and more. She had such a badass attitude and personality throughout the story and not gonna lie, she is what I strive to be like, especially in this society (which this book does a great job of portraying with alphaholes and omegas by the way). I wanna be a baddie like Ruby so bad, SO BAD.

Also, Archer and Beau? Cannot forget them. Archer honestly reminds me of myself most of the time, so while I don’t actively look to insert myself into all the stories I read, I definitely couldn’t help but find myself relating to Archer and his shyness. I actually related to Beau as well, especially with how he thinks even though he has good supports, goes to therapy, practices good coping mechanisms, he still has these depressing, self conscious thoughts and sometimes it controls him and I find that relatable and realistic. That’s something I read and say “dude, that’s how I act and feel, holy shit, it’s not just me.” Mental health is like a rollercoaster, I swear like, why can’t we all just be happy? Why do our brains do this to us?!

Anyway; a lot of relating to the characters, a cute fast burn of scent matches getting together, and partners being supportive of each other? Hell yeah. This book such a good read for Valentine’s Day.

As a still new to omegaverse girlie, im sticking my toes in whenever I see a book that I think I'll love. So when I saw a call for ARC readers for a Valentine omegaverse novella, I ran! OK briskly jogged. Ya girl ain't running unless im being chased. 🤣 And oh my I'm so glad I did!

This is my first foray into Emily Antoinette's delicious writing, and it for sure won't be my last! Beautiful, a burly unsure of himself and slightly prone to depression alpha, and Ruby, a take no shit confident and curvy omega are set up on a blind date by a scent matching service. By chance they run into their third scent match Archer who's unfortunately on a date from hell. Meeting his matches sends Archer into heat. And well..... yall know where this is going. 😆

This is such a perfect Valentine novella! Perfect length. Smutty in all the right ways, BUT with explicit consent at every turn! Everyone is clear about boundaries, safety, etc. Watching their growing relationship is absolute magic, and the care they show for each other makes this sexy story that much sweeter! My personal fave is how accepting everyone is of Ruby's career choice. She's an online sex worker ( think OF ), and both Archer and Beau unashamedly support her and her work, including her working with other creators. At the end of the day it's work, and they realize that and never once try to change her.

I loved it. Absolutely kicking my feet loved this delicious slice of omegaverse and Will absolutely be diving into her other works!

This was a cute short omegaverse book.

This book starts with blind dates for Beau (male alpha), Ruby (female omega), and Archer (male omega). I'm not going to spoil who was on a blind date with whom, as you don't find out right away in the book. What really matters is that they all eventually meet at the same restaurant and quickly connect, only to be thrown in the deep end by a surprise heat.

First of all, the characters in this book are so great. Ruby is the most assertive member of the pack, mostly by being unapologetically herself and not willing to take shit from entitled alphas. Beau is just the biggest cinnamon roll; he has some mental health issues and is just so loving yet anxious about trying to date again. Archer is a sweetheart who is naturally reticent about being around alphas. Between the three of them, they turn "traditional" pack dynamics on their heads and it's really refreshing.

What I really appreciated about the characters is how much care they took with the others. Beau and Archer regularly second guess themselves, but Ruby always helps them clarify what it is they actually want versus when they feel that they are imposing on someone else. Communication and consent show up in positive ways in this book.

Honestly, I would have loved to have more in this book. It's short, meaning we mostly get a meet cute and a heat. That's not bad, but the characters were so lovely that I would have enjoyed seeing more of them.

If you're looking for a short and sweet omegaverse that is Valentine's themed, this is definitely the book for you.

I loved this so much that I wanted more with these 3. I am obsessed with their dynamics. 2 omegas with one sweetie hot alpha was such a vibe. I want more various dynamics in omegaverse! I am seeing it more and I am here for it.

Loved how even though their relationship was moving quick it still made some sense and that they actually knew each other in a few additional ways that leant itself to the feeling of comfort and care they immediately had for each other.

I feel like each character was well developed especially considering this is a novella.

Ruby was an omega who didn't want to minimize herself to be what others might want.

Beau was a caring anxious alpha struggling with mental health issues who needed partners to show him what a catch he really was. Also hell yeah he deserves 2 omegas and 2 scent matches which in omegaverse is like unheard of. He should send out a petty update to his old pack!

Archer was a sweet and very nervous omega whos omega dad instilled a bit of an over cautious nature in him which left him missing out on a lot of things he desperately wanted.

Also there was pegging. I need more pegging especially in omegaverse please!

If you read this whole thing don't for get to read the bonus epilogue scene from the author where Ruby and Archer get Beau and extra special gift. Loved it!

Loved, Loved, **Loved** this! Another great, cute, and sexy why choose Omegaverse from Emily Antoinette!!
Imagine going on a blind date and meeting two of your scent matches! Not one, but **TWO**! Archer, Beau, and Ruby are in for one interesting Valentine's Day!

This is a novella so it's short, but I feel like you get a good bit of knowledge about each character and how they interact with each other.

Also, I enjoy that it was two omegas and one alpha a lot. You mostly see one omega with more than one alpha and sometimes betas in the group, it was great to read something a bit different.

Talking about alphas I love me a good controlling, possessive one but Beau is amazing! Loved how caring, nerdy, and soft he was, and how he didn't mind listening to his omegas! Archer, the male omega, is just a ball of nerdy cutness, he worries a lot, but he can communicate well.
Last but not least, Ruby! Ruby, the female omega, is a confident, plus-size baddie who isn't afraid to stand up for herself or others and is very caring. I absolutely loved her, she was an amazing character and I love seeing more in charge and confident omegas!

Put the three together and you just get a great sexy pack! I definitely recommend giving their story a try if you like lots of spice, swords crossing, emotions everywhere, cozy vibes.
