Vixen Aflame is Book 2 in the Vixen trilogy, and I was so excited to finally read it after the cliffhanger at the end of Book 1. This story picks up immediately where the first book left off, following Denise as she navigates balancing work, family, and her fun, exciting (and very spicy) relationship with her boss.

I loved diving deeper into Denise as a mother in this installment and seeing how she manages her relationship with her children while her connection with John continues to grow. John remains supportive, accepting, and genuinely invested — which made their relationship even more enjoyable to read.

This book does such a great job exploring mature love, sexual self-discovery, and desire. Denise is fully owning her body, her wants, and her confidence, unapologetically stepping into what she desires both in life and in the bedroom. Her journey with John is explored through consensual BDSM and a Dom/sub dynamic that feels respectful, intentional, and empowering.

Denise is a woman in her 40s tackling life head-on, taking what she wants — whether that’s in her career or her pleasure — and I absolutely loved that for her. I can’t wait to read the final book and see how this trilogy concludes.

What a great series - Denise works for John and is also his sub (very new and just discovering). The book starts with a "daydream" which ends with her kids yelling for her. So "real world" I love it. John puts Denise in charge of a business he bought. His board is against him buying it and putting Denise in charge. OMG what a great story with so much hot! I love the characters - but hate Vanessa (like we're supposed to!) John texts Denise with some hot things he wants her to do! I just LOVE everything about this series. Can't wait for book 3 - but I have a feeling I won't want the series to end! 5 stars and a ton of thumbs up!

Denise is at it again, working against the clock to save her job as the lead on a marketing campaign for a lingerie company. This time though, she has to convince the board that she's the right person for the job while juggling her family obligations and keeping her hands to herself… literally. And of course John isn't going to make it easy on her at all.

The story of John & Denise continues. Denise is trying to juggle kids, home life responsibilities, work project, and her secret relationship with her boss. As she develops a marketing plan for the product, her confidence grows, and she empowers her team to grow with her. Of course, we have to have the jealous employee, Vanessa, that can't move up because she is inadequate, so she tries to sabotage Denise and her team. We Denise flourish or will the jealous Vanessa and the company's board members discredit her?

Vixen Aflame by Jordyn Haart is the second book in the series. It is short and riveting. Denise focuses on her marketing campaign for the new lingerie. John and she continue developing their sensuous relationship. This book brings into sharp relief how sensuous women in the prime (40-50) are when allowed the freedom to indulge in their sexuality. despite work pressures and family life. As short as this is, it is well written and so enjoyable. Strong women prevail. Great series.

John and Denise’s spicy relationship continues in Vixen Aflame. John tests Denise’s boundaries more and pushes her outside of her comfort zone. Business Mixes with pleasure as they work towards improving the company.
Vixen Aflame is a fun short read that leaves you wanting more. Looking forward to the next chapter. Highly recommended .

Love that it picked up right where book 1 finished with Denise getting back to reality from sex packed week with John. I don’t mind reading BDSM but I’m not a submissive myself so sometimes I want to scream at her but I know she’s playing the role. I can’t wait for book 3 to see what happens. OMG

Denise and John are at it again. Wow, they have moved further into their relationship and are researching ways to boost the new lingerie line. This book is a marvellous entry into BDSM, I need to read book 3 as soon as I can. I love this trilogy so far.

I really loved this book! It was a fast read, and a real page turner. The descriptions were crystal clear, and I could visualize every scene. I would highly recommend this book, and would recommend reading book 1 in the series too.

Omg! This was hot! This was book 2 in the series. John and Denise are fire! She's trying to juggle her kids, her full time job that she's trying to excel at and get the new position, and her relatively new, interesting relationship with John. I can't wait for book 3 to find out what happens in Paris!

This book was more intense than the first. I felt more connected with Denise and John. I truly enjoyed being able to go deeper into their relationship and the turmoil with the side character. I loved seeing Denise become more comfortable and confident with herself. I'm very excited for book number 3.
