How could you keep Inara alive???!!!!
I hate her. I really do.
And I cannot believe the things this book made me imagine. I could’ve lived very happily never having those visuals in my brain 😭
BUT ALSO… why did parts of this randomly tickle my millennial soul?? Like I did NOT expect to be laughing in a book that had me this stressed.
Best thing about this book was I didn’t have to wait a 100 pages for the world building! It’s funny from the start and very fast paced.
The twists?? I didn’t see a single one coming—and I usually do. This book had me questioning my own instincts.
He kept me at the edge of my seat for a WHILE, and just when I thought I had it figured out… absolutely not.
And that ending??? Completely unexpected.
Also it’s a SERIES now???
I am excited. I am stressed. I am unwell.

Wild ride
This book reminded me of a cross between X-Men and Resident Evil. Fast paced and witty I devoured this book. The characters are fun and the twists are wild
