Great novella

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella! I loved the attention to details when it came to the dress and everything that went along with the wedding planning. It was also great to see more of Voshki's POV and personality since it was so rare in the main series.

Shadows & Blеssings and Blood & Bliss tradе somе of thе darknеss and dangеr of thе main sеriеs for somеthing a littlе softеr: cеlеbrations, traditions, found family, and glimpsеs of what comеs aftеr thе fight for happily еvеr aftеr.

Blood & Bliss givеs us thе dark fantasy wеdding wе dеsеrvе. 💍🩸 Fayе, Runе, and Voshki bring togеthеr old dark-bloodеd traditions and Anarian valuеs whilе crеating a fеw traditions еntirеly thеir own.

This short story chronicles Faye’s wedding to Voshki and Rune. You definitely have to have read books one and two in the series for this one to make sense and the prior short story, Shadows and Blessings, sets up the wedding.

I loved how willing Voshki was to learn and adopt Faye’s customs around the wedding. The novella is cute and cozy with a little spice and all the wedding and family vibes.

First and foremost, thank you for this ALC!

This novella is all about Faye/Voshki/Rune’s wedding, so please stop reading if you don’t know what I’m talking about right now! I’ll (try) to keep it light on the spoilers.

Kalista gave us an entire wedding novella (start to finish), which begins with all of Sparrow’s antics! She always means well and ultimately does what’s right by Faye, but she’s a riot during the process. I also picked up on some interesting dynamics - from Voshki and Rune, and between the twins. I’m not sure if I read into it or if there’s more to come with that… just saying…

You should read this short and sweet novella if you have read all of Kalista’s other books (very important) and honestly want a low stakes read. Kalista has already promised incoming torture!

Blood & Bliss is the fifth book in the Of Chaos and Darkness Series. If you haven’t read the other books in the series, this book will spoil some things so I suggest you start with Invoking The Blood.

This novella revolves around Faye, Rune and Voshki for their wedding. Like finally!

This wedding novella was everything. I’m so glad they finally got married. One of my favorite things to we getting to know the different customs that were incorporated. Sparrow as always is a trip and was definitely the comedic relief. It was definitely the perfect wedding for them.

If you’ve been following Faye, Voshki & Rune, this was the cozy wedding vibes I didn’t know I needed. I loved seeing Voshki so willing to learn and embrace Faye’s customs, and the found family moments were everything. 🥹

I absolutely enjoyed this🖤🖤🖤 You do need to read the previous books in the series. And I recommend them all. I just adore the characters. The Wedding was just exactly what I needed to read. It had spice and coziness. I'm just worried what will happen to my favs as the series expands, no emotional damage please 🥺

I listened to this on audiobook and it was fantastic! It was a multicast audiobook I loved her getting to see her and voshki together and them all together with the babies just tugged on my heart. Such a beautiful book.

I had to immediately start this one after I finished Shadows & Blessings and this was a cute little novella about the wedding! this was exactly what I need to read ! I loved how it had both spice and cozy vibes to it. this was an amazing read with great mental health representation added to it.

I loved it. It was short and sweet. I loved Faye. I loved the wedding scene. I loved the writing and the world building. I loved the pacing. I was never bored throughout the book. I loved Rune. I also loved Voshki. This book brought me more insight on the world and the relationship between the two main characters. Overall, a great read. I will definitely read anything by Kalista Neith in the future. I loved the Asian characters. I want to thank the author and Iris Society PR company for giving me the earc for a honest review.

This book delivered exactly what was promoted - a cozy paranormal fantasy wedding novella with some spice! I loved reading more about the little children (IYKYK), and Sparrow continues to be my favorite character. The mental health rep was on point and I am so excited to see where this family is heading next!
