Captive Bride: A Dark, Enemies to Lovers Bratva Romance

Rate this book
He's the Pakhan of the Sokolov Bratva. I'm his captive. His prize. His problem.

Kazimir Sokolov doesn't make mistakes.

He's the king of Moscow's underworld—brutal, calculating, and absolutely ruthless. Men fear him. Enemies die screaming his name. And no one, ever, tells him no.

Until me.

I was supposed to be leverage. A hostage to ensure my father's cooperation. Three months, maybe six, and then I'd be released.

That was two years ago.

Now I'm trapped in the Sokolov compound, under the watchful eye of a man who looks at me like I'm a problem he can't solve. A weakness he can't afford. A temptation he won't allow himself.

Kaz says I'm his responsibility. His captive. His burden.

But the way he watches me? The way he appears whenever I'm in danger? The way his control slips when another man looks at me too long?

That's not duty. That's possession.

I should hate him. Should want my freedom more than my next breath.

Instead, I'm falling for the monster who holds my cage.

And in the world of the Bratva, loving the Pakhan is the most dangerous thing I could ever do.

A dark mafia romance featuring the ultimate alpha—a possessive Pakhan, his captive bride, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and an obsession that rewrites all the rules.

I really liked it BUT it had so much more potential that the author just didn't quite hit for me. I genuinely loved both the H and the h but for me their story fell short and it's too bad because it had so so much more potential on the development of their relationship.

Reminds me of serafino and remo or Anna and Maddox. A mix of both but a completely different ending. I enjoyed this read
