Sharing Riley

Rate this book
Riley Sullivan thought she had it under control.

Co-captaining a competitive laser tag team with Wes Cross means constant fighting—over strategy, over tactics, over everything. It also means four months of parking-lot make-out sessions they both pretend don’t mean anything. Just blowing off steam. Perfectly harmless.

Until the night Wes’s hands slide under her shirt—and Riley realizes she’s been lying to everyone.
Including herself.

When Riley finally confesses to her husband, Levi, she expects anger. Devastation. Maybe divorce.

What she gets instead changes everything.

“Show me where he touched you.”

Levi’s reaction ignites something neither of them knew was there. And when Riley discovers a side of herself she never imagined—confident, commanding, and exactly what Wes needs—the three of them find themselves navigating dangerous, exhilarating new territory.

From Phoenix league nights to the neon chaos of nationals in Las Vegas, Riley learns she can be a champion on the arena floor and in the bedroom.

Sharing Riley is a hot, heartfelt story

Nerds who argue about Star Trek

Competition that feels like life or death

Desire that refuses to stay contained

And discovering that wanting more doesn’t mean loving less

Sometimes the person you become is exactly who you were meant to be all along.

Thank you to Raven Merlot and BookSprout for the Advanced Reader Copy. I’m voluntarily providing an honest and unbiased review.

This is another strong instalment in the series, this time set against the energetic backdrop of a laser tag tournament. Wes and Riley, the team’s captain and co‑captain, clash over tactics, and their heated arguments spill over into a moment of passionate kissing. Things escalate to touching before Riley pulls back, reminding herself she’s married—something that leaves Wes frustrated and hurt.

When Riley confesses to her husband, Levi, his reaction is far from what she expects. Their open, thoughtful conversation leads to a plan for Riley to explore her connection with Wes more intimately.

The story is well paced and richly detailed, drawing the reader close to the characters and their emotional struggles. The writing is strong—easily comparable to some bestselling authors—and balances internal conflict, intimacy, and the lively action of the laser tag matches in a way that feels vivid and believable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves their spice paired with a solid story and relatable characters.

A wandering hand makes it impossible to ignore the fact that Riley is doing more than just kissing her co-captain. Revealing her actions to her husband leads to discovering unexpected feelings.

I loved how this experience has Riley and her husband learning new things about their partner. They follow their feelings and explore how giving permission for Riley to see if Wes is as interested in going further as Riley open new avenues for them.

Their relationships evolve alongside their team competing in laser tag, trying to make it to the championship. As they learn to trust, things start to click even better than before.

Where this could have gone horrible and been the reason for divorce, the characters lean into their unexpected reactions and navigate the new terrain following what feels right and trusting their partner. The truth leads them to an explosive ending in celebration.

This story is beyond steamy and provides a look at how relationships can evolve from what we think we want or what our partner wants.

Riley confesses to her husband, Levi, that she's been kissing Wes, her laser tag captain, for four months. Wes stops everything when he finds out that Levi wasn't aware. Levi stays awake wondering why the news aroused him. Levi has Riley reveal how her encounter with Wes would go. He gives the green light for Riley and Wes to play, as long as she recounts all the details when she comes home. Levi goes with Riley to the national laser tag championships. He watches and sees Riley in a new light. After Riley's team wins the championships she has Wes meet Levi and her for a private celebration. As Levi watches he realizes that Wes brings out a different side of Riley. Levi is the dominant one in their relationship but Riley thrives at dominating Wes. After Riley and Wes conclude their escapade Levi joins in and lets her take the lead.

I’ve never played laser tag but this book makes me want to give it a try. The title character, Riley, is not only a laser tag natural, but also a married woman who has been doing some after hours kissing with her co-captain Wes. One night she comes clean to her husband Levi who, instead of getting angry, gives her the green light to take the action all the way. If you have read any of Raven’s other books from the Sharing Wives series you know this is not unusual. What is unusual is the author’s use of a mixed-race couple, a first in this series. How does this relationship affect the narrative? Read it and find out. I will tell you it is another excellent story by Raven with great characters and smokin’ hot scenes. It’s worth your time.

Another spicy entry in the Shared Wife series. This time between co-captains of a nerdy laser tag team. (Points for an under represented demographic and some Star Trek references.)

The story has the quality writing and heat I’ve come to expect from the series. But two things really stood out for me.

First was the racial juxtaposition of husband and bull. The BBC bull trope is so common as to be approaching cliche. It was a treat to see things turned around.

Second was Riley taking the dominant role in being shared. She takes rather than being taken.

Not my favorite of the series, but a solid entry.

Well I liked the book it was slow moving easy to follow and intertwined with the usual sex scenes. I don't know what game they were playing but the description of it was quite good and I liked to follow through what each participant was up to in the game. And there was some very good in game descriptions of what goes on and I could visualize the effects in my mind which I like to do. I was not too impressed with the control freak main character woman and her sexual dominating but that's me personally. Other than that I liked the book and I liked the game.

As the three learn to live their new dynamic, Levi asks for a bit more. Upon receiving that, Riley is ready to ask for what she really wants. These three have different power dynamics between each relationship but it works for them.

Riley has a fun thing going with Wes, her laser tag teammate. They have been blowing off some steam in an intimate fashion for a while. But things appear to be getting set to boil over in a sexy way with their intimate meetings. And her husband, Levi, is going to learn a lot. I found Sharing Riley to be a cute, sexy, and entertaining read.
