This is probably the most comprehensive Kanban book (for non-manufacturing systems) since David J Anderson wrote his original work. It is divided into three parts. My favorites were the 1st and 3rd as they are more action oriented, but the entire book is very utilitarian. If you've never given a workshop before, but know these concepts, you could use the suggestions in this book and be on your way with a solid agenda. I loved learning from the experiences of the authors. I know Klaus is always consulting and training so he has no problem pulling from a wealth of examples.

The price of this book may put the casual curious off, but for those who really want to consider Kanban, this book will pay for itself many times over. Consider it a textbook, a reference book that you will use over and over as you continue down your path to continuous improvement.

I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and my colleagues!

If you need an introduction to Kanban in IT, read Anderson's original book about it. If you are looking for the best to actually implement Kanban in a team or company, continue with this book. This book is only one third about Kanban itself, and two thirds about change management. So it's got to be inspirational, and it is. A hands-on approach, down-to-earch, full with real-life experience packed into little stories.

Good overview of the challenges that you'll face when trying to introduce Kanban in a company. There are lots of good ideas and tips.
Sometimes it's a bit heavy on the theory.
