4🌟, 3🌶️
Somehow this book had me giggling, emotional, and completely attached to these characters all at once.
It took me a little time to fully settle into the story, but once the tension between Scout and Crew started building, I was completely invested. The slow burn is definitely slow, but that made every little moment between them feel even more rewarding.
What really worked for me was how immersive everything felt. The soccer scenes had so much energy, the banter felt effortless, and Crew had some genuinely sweet moments that completely won me over. I also loved that the spice added to the relationship instead of overpowering the story. Scout’s emotional journey brought a lot of heart to the book and made me even more connected to everything happening.
By the end, I was genuinely attached to these characters and didn’t want the story to end. The mix of romance, emotion, and sports worked so well for me, and even the slower moments felt worth it once everything came together.
I had such a fun time with this world and will definitely be reading more from this author.

Adult Goals by Abby Moore was my first sports romance and let me just say that I am now emotionally attached and probably need supervision. I really enjoyed this book.
I’ll admit it took me a little bit to get into at first, but honestly that could be because I was actively getting a tattoo while reading and apparently pain + hot fictional men = zero reading comprehension 😭😂 butttt once I locked in though? Absolutely obsessed
A couple things I need to address:
•This is absolutely a slow burn and I will die on that hill. Scout and Crew don’t even kiss until almost 60% in and honestly? Perfection 🤌🏻 The tension was so good it should’ve been illegal. The build up had me kicking my feet, giggling, and questioning my standards in real life. And the way Crew was protecting Scout?? Sir, relax before I make poor decisions 🥵 If slow burns aren’t your thing then respectfully… this may not be for you
•I do NOT consider this a one bed trope. In my opinion a one bed trope is when they’re forced to share because there’s no other choice, not because the FMC casually ends up in his room 😂 In the book they had separate rooms, and sleeping in the same bed is what really started their relationship (even though they already had feelings for one another) but they weren’t kissing or doing anything, which honestly made the slow burn even better
And the crossover?! If you know, you KNOW. Seeing my favorite mafia family pop up had me acting like I spotted a celebrity in public. Did I fully understand how they were related? No. Did I care? Also no. They could show up in a grocery store scene and I’d still be thrilled. Anyways since this is an incomplete series, my current theory is Harper and Nik are next 👀 and if I’m right, I will be insufferable about it 🤭

I have to start this off by saying this is my new favorite Abby Moore book. I’m standing on that ten toes down.
I immediately started this yesterday and then couldn’t put it down to go to bed. I lost sleep because I just didn’t want to stop reading. I haven’t read a soccer romance book so this one was on the top of my list. (I’m forever grateful I was able to arc read.) The book didn’t disappoint at all. I felt like I was in the story with the characters, especially during games and practices. It had me reminiscing on my soccer days and I loved that. I love when a book can make me feel like I’m there and seeing what’s happening. I giggled and kicked my feet, but I also cried. My heartstrings were pulled on for sure. I hope to get more books in this series because I seriously loved it so much.
The story is told mostly through Scouts pov so when you get Crews pov you’re absolutely SAT😋 Crew Landon is for sure a new book boyfriend of mine.
Also can we acknowledge the fact that vipers den/vipers lair were intertwined into this book? Because a girl caught on so quickly and loved all of those crumbs🤭

Abby Moore absolutely nailed the soccer aspect in *Adult Goals*. It felt authentic and added so much depth to the story instead of just being background filler. But what really got me was Crew and Scout. Watching their relationship build naturally throughout the story had me swooning. The chemistry, the tension, the growth... so good. Crew is very much a “she’s mine” kind of guy, and I ate up every second of it. Definitely one that kept me hooked from start to finish.

I truly believe this is one of the best books I have read this year! I loved every moment of this book . If I had the ability to highlight the entire book trust me I would have done it! (Ps..I probably indeed highlighted most of the book) this was a 5 star book and I 100% recommend this book to everyone! I haven’t read a soccer book before and let me tell you this author has just sucked me into these types of books! Best believe I’m reading every book by this author! TENFOLD!

My first ARC read, and honestly, I’m positively surprised ✨
I did enjoy this book overall, although I had a bit of a hard time connecting with Scout at times. She occasionally came across as a little immature to me 😅
I really liked Crew tho and how protective he was over Scout 🥹
The first part of the book was also a bit slow, and it took me some time to fully get into the story. But once things picked up, I became more invested.
I liked the overall storyline, although I felt things moved a little too quickly between Ford and Crew, even if Scout had clearly always had a soft spot for Crew.
I love sports romances, but some of the football scenes felt slightly unrealistic at times.
There were also quite a lot of characters to keep track of, but since it’s part of a series, I can see how the characters will probably develop more in future books.
What I appreciated the most, though, was the overall message of the book. That you’re capable of more than you think, even when stepping into something completely unfamiliar. It ended up being a really heartwarming read 🥹🩷

First of all, I cannot wait for the next book in the series. This is my first soccer themed romance book, and I absolutely loved it. I love how Scout (love her name!) dedicated herself to such a challenge as learning soccer as an adult. The story takes us through so many twists and turns from mean girls/guys, team mate infatuations, team bonding, support in learning and growing, trauma from parental loss, falling in love, and choosing love first. I laughed, I cried, the spice was spicing, and the friendship support was all you’d want in your own life.
The only thing I wanted a bit more of is Arthur being put in his place a bit more solid.
I’m a fan of this author and going to enjoy her author journey as books come out.

And the PLOT??? Thick. Layered. Had me locked in the whole time. This wasn’t just spice carrying the book, the story genuinely delivered.

I actually really enjoyed this book and the storyline! It’s definitely a slow burn, and we all know that’s one of my favorite tropes. The tension? Absolutely chef’s kiss. 😮💨✨
That said, I do think there were a few holes in the story, and some plot points that never really got explained or fully wrapped up. I especially would’ve loved to see more come from the Arthur storyline. It felt like it was building toward something bigger with him constantly driving by, and then suddenly nothing? I kept waiting for that thread to come back around.
BUT now I’m very intrigued to see where this series goes next because that possible mafia crossover has my attention 👀🔥

Adult Goals by Abby Moore was my first read by this author, and it definitely won’t be my last! This was also my first soccer romance, and I absolutely loved it. The story was well written, engaging, and had me invested from beginning to end.
Scout Meadows was such a relatable character, and I found myself connecting with her throughout the book. The chemistry between Scout and Crew was off the charts and kept me turning the pages. Their banter, attraction, and emotional connection made this romance incredibly enjoyable.

I absolutely devoured this book…one of those reads that pulls you in completely and doesn’t let go. It had me laughing one minute and tearing up the next, and I loved every second of the emotional ride.
If you’re in the mood for a slow-burn sports romance that builds tension in the best way, this needs to be on your TBR.

I devoured Adult Goals by Abby Moore. This is EVERYTHING I want in a sports romance. Not only do you get the swoon-worthy romance, but you actually learn about the sport in a way that pulls you in instead of glazing over it. The intensity, the drive, the passion—it all felt so real.
And Crew??? The way he loves Scout is the kind of love that sticks with you. Protective, devoted, all-consuming in the best way. I felt every moment of their story, and I already want to reread.

I received this as an ARC! I loved this story! I loved how scout went out and did something she wasn’t great at but set her mind on it and get better. I also like how the MMC was down for scout from the beginning of the story and through her struggles. Crew had me giggling so much too. Loved the book!!

This book was absolutely amazing the SLOW burn was absolutely everything!! Don't even get me started on the banter!! I was beyond blessed to receive an ARC of this book and I cannot express how grateful I am! You NEED to read this book ASAP!! The character development is so good and you get to see so many different types of traits in all of the characters. Abby has created such an amazing sports romance that will absolutely blow you away and get you hooked very quickly!! I enjoyed this book so much and definitely recommend it to everyone!!!

I have been looking forward to this book since learning about it a couple of months ago and it didn’t disappoint. While I don’t know squat about soccer, this actually taught me some, but I loved Crew and Scout’s story. He was kind and sweet to her in just the way she needed and especially at the times it mattered most.

A fun sports romance read!
Loved the slow burn romance and the banter between Scout and Crew! Loved Crew’e drive and determination to succeed and Scout stepping out of her comfort zone!
Struggled a bit to keep up with all the different characters in the book but overall it was an easy enjoyable read.

This was a fun book about coed soccer which was fun in itself but I was also about MFC chasing her sexual independence! I love how she knew what she was missing and made it a point to find love and the “O”

This was the cutest book! I love Crew! In the beginning he gives off your typical jock but as you get to know him, he’s very adorable and has a soft side but only for Scout. He’s so protective over her but in a cute way. He always just has to make sure she’s okay. And I loved seeing Scout’s growth with soccer in this story. You can tell she really wanted it and fell in love with it. Really enjoyed the story!!

Wow! The story was absolutely fantastic. This was a love story that brought the plot, the spice, and the incredibly well developed characters. This is the first book I have read by Abby Moore and it will not be my last. The way the Vipers become family to each other and how they bring in Scout, even before she is with Crew, is so incredible. The way Crew sacrifices for Scout to be there for her in the times she needs him most. This book hooked me quickly and i struggled to put it down! Thank you Abby for this amazing piece of writing!

I liked this book. It was very slow in the beginning almost to the half way point did it finally really pull me in. I loved the banter between Crew and Scout and his protectiveness of her. I also loved the friendship between Scout and her friends.
