This book discusses the origins of medicine in a way that is more geared toward older children, but still easy to read. It discusses how many medicines start out as plants in forests, and addresses the issues behind deforestation. A good informational book for students to better understand where our medicines come from, and a good introduction to holistic/natural remedies.
