Platypus Sacrifice Performed at the Acuña Cartel : A Jett Turner Misadventure: Book #3

Rate this book
I thought writing for a cartel boss was painful. Then I got stabbed by a platypus. Twice.

The name’s Jett Turner and my writing about Acuña Cartel head Tito “El Tigre” Calderón has turned my life into a mosaic of absolute insanity. This past month has seen me get poisoned by the aforementioned animal (Yeah, they’re venomous. Look it up!), survive a plane crash, deal with a clowder of feral cats, and go toe-to-toe with a Santería priest and my witch doctor of a housekeeper. Throw in two DEA agents who awarded me Informant-of-the-Month status and won’t leave my pool, a dangerously seductive stewardess, and an Australian who has a bong crafted from a koala skull, and you get an idea of what I’m up against in my want to live a happy semi-retired life.

This third misadventure that is my life is rated R for language, crude humor, and insanely bizarre circumstances but rates an A+ for all of the aforementioned and entertainment value.

Platypus Sacrifice Performed at the Acuña Cartel is Book 3 in the wildly popular Jett Turner Misadventures series. Check out the rest of the books in the

Don't stop at 3!

My only complaint is the sudden endings.I've just read all 3 and they're all extremely well written and very amusing. His knowledge of everything he writes about seems vast. I'm going to try his other series even though they're not the kind of things I normally read

A crazy and engaging series

I've just finished reading the 3 books in this series and truly enjoyed them. The characters are bizarre, the scenarios even more so, and they were just plain fun to read. I hope the series continues!
In the meantime I will be reading more of this author's work, these books were very well written and I'm sure his other novels are as well.

Visit Del Rio, but read this book first.

Wow. I read a lot of strange stuff and enjoy most of it, but this series is a ho nutha lebul. Do not pass on it. Start with the first book and read them all. Just wondering what on earth will show up in book 4.

Great series

Long ago I worked in the oil patch and spent time in the Del Rio area. The characters in the books remind me a wee bit of folks from back then. Read all the books, stress relief plus entertainment. Author did well .

Okay I was truly on the fence with the first two books, but now I definitely want more! I still don’t love the dream chapters but I can overlook that for the rest of the insanity. Just please please please get a proofreader!

Ready for #4

Fun read, especially when you can’t sleep. Make the next book a tad longer, please.
And five more words required.

Great Read

Interesting stories mixed with absurdly funny humor. Have been caught laughing while reading. Well written and great characters. Just can’t wait for book #4.
