I was heartbroken when David found out he was on the verge of losing the only thing that mattered to him, but luckily, Nora became an unexpected anchor. I found it interesting how 'friendly' David and his daughter's principal were... and then they kissed. It was heartwarming yet difficult watching them develop this family bond while risking everything. Okay, this book made me sob like a baby. The push-and-pull tension, legal battle drama, and extremely spicy moments balanced this story perfectly. I also loved the cameos from their friend group; they had me cracking up. I've been waiting for this book, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I can't wait for the next one!

I loved this book so much! The daughter is so adorable and relatable as a parent of smart kids, I get it. Also that Kelsie is a witch and deserves everthing that was coming to her. Nora is the sweetest, and so perfect for David.
This series is absolutely adorable and I’ve enjoying it so much! Can’t wait to read book 5!

This story was great!!! Storyline was awesome. Michaela - the true princess of the story was a riot. But then it started. Page after page after page of pornography! I think about 2/3 of the book was constant sex which I flipped over as I tried to get back to the storyline. She's a great author! No need for all the sexual trash. I had already gotten another book by this author but I plan to return it since it too will probably end up being nothing but porn with a short story straggler thru it. So disappointed.😥

I’ve enjoyed this series overall and I particularly like the start of each book. They tend to draw me in. What I struggle with and ends up lowering my rating is the middle part of each book - there tends to be a dependency on the sex scenes in place of actual character development. Is trade some of those scenes to get some really good dialogue and emotional development. But I’ll say this, Nora’s back story resonated with me and this is probably my fave of the series.

Michaela is the star of the show in so,many ways. There were moments that made me cry for that hilarious, precocious little girl. The rest of the romance was well written as always, but the way the adults care for this sweet child makes my heart squeeze.

I felt that this book was excessively long. Most of the book revolved around a custody battle between David and his ex-wife of their eight-year-old daughter. The eight-year-old daughter was super cute and funny, but definitely way too precocious that it seemed a bit unrealistic. Nora and David fell in love halfway through the book. But it was basically about them dealing with a custody battle. Which I just felt was too long in this book which was over 500 pages long. Somewhere in the middle was sex scene after sex scene after sex scene. It was just redundant. I ended up having to skim the latter part of the book because it just started to get boring. If this book was 200 pages shorter, I probably would’ve enjoyed it more.

David gets called by his father, Brent Kingsley. He tells his son that there is a problem, regarding his ex, Kelsie, who has filed a petition to reinstate her rights to their daughter, Michaela, who is 8 and a half. It is complicated and upsetting and made me cry. That little girl is so freaking smart and a mini lawyer already. My heart hurt for her and the rest of the Kingsley men. Seeing what Kelsie did to Michaela when she was little and before she signed away her rights, had me crying and livid. So, they plan on how to fight back and protect Michaela. However, Kelsie married a richer guy, so that is a problem.

What happens next is both shocking for both David and the reader. I got really upset. But, the principal at Michaela’s school, Nora Harrison is a godsend. I cried when David had his meltdown with Nora, in the aftermath. Her dog, is awesome. I love Archimedes, aka Archie. He was integral to how Michaela felt better after everything. Nora’s younger sister, Miranda is hilarious. I love her, and her kids, who are semi-feral. lol. I love how the sisters know each other so well, and that Miranda doesn’t let Nora get away with things. We also learn about Nora’s ex-husband, Grey, what a piece of work. I cried over that too.

I adore Janet, the VP of the school as well. She is hilarious, and she is efficient. I love how she and Nora work to protect the school and Michaela from Kelsie’s antics. I think Kelsie is evil and extremely selfish. I love when Nora and David admit that there are feelings between them, and have been for some time, that they have been ignoring. I like how David has been thinking of his daughter and how to protect her. Things between David and Nora begin to be romantic and hot and steamy and then stop. Eeeep. I wanted to yell at him for what he does/says.

What Michaela does to practice her law, is both fascinating, hilarious, and amazing. If she doesn’t become one of the youngest sitting judges when she gets older… lol.

I love Nora and how she is with Michaela. I love that little girl. I just want to hug her, Nora and David. The Court System should be better and I think that the kids should be questioned more in depth. They can’t just allow biological parents to get access to the kids, just because they have money. It isn’t right. Not when it will affect the kid’s mental state, like in this case between Kelsie and Michaela. Michaela is very mature for her age and that should’ve been taken into account. My stomach hurt from Michaela’s antics and laughing so hard. Caleb and David’s friends’ are awesome. The book had me laughing, crying a lot, and rooting for something to happen to that evil woman that would stop things. But, that didn’t happen. However, David and Nora began falling for each other and Nora fell for Michaela as well.

I laughed myself silly when Nora & Miranda met with the guy’s girlfriends. They fit in just right. lol. Michaela fits in with Miranda’s kids and they are all so cute with Archie. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Okay, this book absolutely wrecked me.

I expected to fall in love with David and Nora. I expected the tension, the chemistry, the spicy moments, and the emotional payoff. What I didn't expect was how completely invested I would become in this little family and how many times this story would have me crying.

David Kingsley has spent seven years making one thing his priority: his daughter. Every decision he makes, every sacrifice he accepts, and every rule he creates revolves around keeping Michaela safe and protected. So when the woman who abandoned them suddenly reappears demanding custody, my heart broke for him. Watching David face the possibility of losing the most important person in his life was absolutely heartbreaking.

Then there was Nora.

I loved Nora from the very beginning. She's strong, compassionate, and has spent far too much of her life believing she should make herself smaller for the benefit of others. Watching her slowly realize that she deserved to be chosen, fought for, and loved was one of my favorite parts of the entire story.

The chemistry between David and Nora was incredible. The push-and-pull tension, the forbidden nature of their connection, and the constant risk surrounding their relationship created the perfect balance of angst and anticipation. Their romance felt natural, emotional, and deeply earned.

And then there was Michaela.

Honestly, this child stole the entire book.

As someone with both a teaching and nanny background, I absolutely adored her. Her legal jargon, analytical brain, giant heart, and future-Supreme-Court-justice energy made every scene she appeared in unforgettable. She brought so much humor, warmth, and emotion to the story that I found myself looking forward to every chapter she appeared in.

I also loved seeing the friend group from previous books show up throughout the story. Their support, humor, and complete acceptance of Nora added so much heart to an already emotional book.

The custody battle brought genuine stakes, the romance delivered plenty of heat, and Megan Wade somehow managed to balance humor, heartbreak, tension, and tenderness perfectly. I laughed out loud, cried more than once, and spent the entire book desperately hoping David, Nora, and Michaela would get the happy ending they deserved.

This has easily become one of my favorite Megan Wade books to date.

If you love single dad romances, strong heroines, protective heroes, found family, adorable kids, and stories that will make you laugh and cry in equal measure, Dial A for Attorney absolutely belongs on your TBR.

*Dial A for Attorney* by Megan Wade picks up David's story, which was nicely introduced in *Dial T for Tech Nerd*. David is a devoted single dad, and the slow burn between him and Michaela's school principal, Nora, had me rooting for them from the very beginning. The timing, however, could not be worse. Just as they're finally getting closer, David's ex-wife, who has been absent for years, suddenly reappears and files a lawsuit seeking parental rights. It's obvious this is the worst possible time for them to start a relationship... but chemistry doesn't exactly care about good timing. And makes for a good story, eh?

I've already read a few of the author's Stoneheart books, so after enjoying *Dial T for Tech Nerd*, I was excited to continue this series. I came into it a little out of order and skipped the first two books, but now I definitely need to go back because I've become really attached to this group of friends.

One thing the author does so well is creating a world that feels alive. Every character has their own history, insecurities, and personality, and even the side characters add so much humor and heart to the story. I love how all the books weave together, with familiar faces popping up naturally while each romance still stands on its own. It's impressive how interconnected everything feels without becoming confusing.

Her writing is witty, heartfelt, and so easy to get lost in. I was already getting emotional in the very first chapter, and the story kept pulling me in from there. I also really enjoyed the legal side of the story. The legal discussions added an extra layer that made the book feel a little different from a typical romance.

The only thing that didn't quite work for me was Michaela. She was adorable, but at times she came across as a little older and wiser than I would expect from an eight-year-old. Maybe I noticed it more because I have an eight-year-old myself.

This is definitely a longer book than I usually gravitate toward, but it flows so well that it never felt like a chore to read. I'm already looking forward to the next book in the series.

I absolutely without a doubt loved this book. One of my favorites for 2026. This is a storyline that will have you laughing, ugly crying and smiling through the whole thing. It will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. Have tissues. It has heartbreak, humor, steam, and unexpected twists that come out of nowhere.
It starts with David a single father of the most precious 8-year-old little girl named Michaela receiving news that her so called mother who gave up all her rights is now back seeking custody. Let me tell you there is no point in this book that I ever like that woman. You are taking on the journey heartbreak as you watch David face the possibility of losing the most important person in his life. But along the way you also watch him fall in love with Nora. I absolutely love Nora. She is the principal at Michaela's school. She is strong, compassionate and absolutely loves Michaela like she was her own daughter. But now she is not only there for Michaela she wants to be there for David and that is when things get complicated.
But reading about the push and pull tension, the forbidden nature of their connection and the constant risk surrounding Nora and David's relationship was heart melting. It was so well written it created the perfect balance of angst and anticipation and had me on the edge of my seat wanting so badly to see them find their happy ever after as a family.
Megan grabbed my attention from the very first chapter to the very end. I was laughing crying heartbroken and pieced back together by the end. I absolutely loved this storyline and characters. I could not get over little Michaela and the way she throws around like she was a mini lawyer. That girl had it going on.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a book that will give you a little emotional damage but provide you a story with a single dad romance, strong heroines and a protective hero.

This is David and Nora's love story, and it absolutely didn't disappoint. But I must admit Michaela is still my favorite. I've loved her since the first book in the series and couldn't wait for this one. She's an amazing child that you can't help but love and want the best for. Now onto the main characters. I've been rooting for David to find love and happiness since the beginning as well. As a single parent, I can completely relate to him and how every decision falls on you. And at times, it feels like the weight of the world. But also like him, it's so rewarding to have your child see you as the center of the their universe and an unwavering north star, a constant in their lives. He's an amazing dad and always put Michaela first. Nora is the type of person you need in your support group. She's thoughtful, caring, loyal, and always puts others above herself. She and David have so much in common, and the chemistry between them was great to read. The story was longer than I typically read, but it didn't feel that way. It didn't drag on unnecessarily and kept me entertained from beginning to end. The secondary characters from the previous books make appearances at just the right moments and provide support for Nora and David. I'm glad that the plot focused more on their relationship development and overcoming their own personal issues instead of David's ex and her foolishness. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one.

Lovely relationship arc and characters .

Some of these series feel like the author is just reaching for new relationships to build so they can continue forward with the next book. This doesn’t feel like that. This series feels like real characters with a real character arc, each book has a completely unique dynamic between two characters that just makes sense together and their voices are uniquely theirs. It doesn’t feel forced, it doesn’t feel like a reach. It feels like the natural course for them to find their way together. Each book weaves the intricate web between this group of friends tighter without ever feeling like it’s trying too hard. Still tired of hearing that “the kiss wasn’t gentle” and honestly, usually I’m not want to say this but sometimes trying to cram a little too much spiciness before the end is overkill.

There were some details that seemed like they were inaccurate trying to force an older relationship between some of these characters that previous books did not seem to indicate. But overall, I should actual tears reading this one. Still very little actual drama that I enjoy, but still a lovely story. Definitely don’t start here, go all the way back to the beginning. But I am excited to see how the last one pans and will be sad when it’s over.

WOW! What a fabulous read as David and Nora's story unfold. David an attorney who turned his personal life off except for his daughter, Michaela the day her mother walked out on them without a word over seven years ago. Nora the school principal that made David feel again, became Michaela's person, and got caught in the middle of a custody battle by accident. David and Nora did not intend to fall in love. It just happened. Then out of the blue Kelsie showed up wanting back in Michaela's life, but she went at it in a way to cause the most disruption in her daughter's life. Plus, she had signed her parental rights away. She caused trouble at school for everyone. You will fall in love with the characters of David, Nora, and Michaela. Especially, Michaela as she acts like a miniature attorney except when family court does not do what she thinks was right, then she thinks she might become a doctor like her grandma. David's friends all accepted Nora with open arms which was rather heart warming. They were happy that he had found someone to complete him giving him the much needed happiness he deserved. It also had a great lead in to the next book. I really loved this story.

David left Nora the not know where they stand he wants her but didn’t want to mess things up for her job and his custody case! The truth will be set free and he just has to play the long game!
Kelsie is this no good mom and wants something she really doesn’t deserve and only doing it to make her husband happy and she told the truth to David after the first visit! Michaela hates going on these visits but makes sure she tells her dad and uncle everything and mom doesn’t play with her ever!! This family has more than just family around them they have friends that are now family forever! Nora figured that out after one Saturday brunch that she didn’t think she needed but loves now!

Principle Harrison, Nora to friends loves all of her pupils in her school but Michaela is a quirky , highly intelligent little girl that holds a special place in her heart n the fact her dad's a dream boat is an added bonus.

Don't want to give too much away but another great read in the big beautiful women, Billionaire romance series. Nice to read you don't have to be a supermodel to have someone find you attractive.

I loved this book!!

Nora and David have instant chemistry but David is a single father and doesn't want to bring in relationships with his young daughter, especially when the one he wants is his daughter's school principal.

Nora is a single woman living her life and enjoying being the aunt. She always wanted children but never got the chance to have her own, so she became a school principal and works with children. David comes along with a precious seven year old and she fells deeply for.them both but life has other plans.

David never thought he would find love again but Nora comes along and changes all the rules he made when he got sole custody of his daughter. He tried to resist Nora but he just couldn't. He fell in love with her kindness, generosity, her beauty, and the way she loves his daughter as if she were her own.

Such a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the last book!

Crossing boundaries romance

Nora is the principal at David’s daughter’s school. His daughter, Michaela, is caught in a visitation/custody fight between David and his ex, something that he thought was resolved 7 years ago when his ex abandoned their daughter and gave up her parental rights. In the middle of this is Nora, the loving, caring principal who only wants to protect Michaela. Then she falls for David and him her, but that’s just another crimp in the custody mess.

Nora is a strong character, with a big heart for a distressed little girl and her troubled dad. David is torn between his needs and saving his daughter. Add in lots of explicit sex, loving but noses family and friends, and 2 people unsure of what they want and what they will risk, and you have this story. Slow at times. Repetitive in events, but overall good read.

como este livro é, da série, o que mais tem a presença da criança, eu tava já rezando por paciência enquanto eu ainda tava terminando o livro 3. só que como tinha bastante cenas com ela, foi melhor de engolir pq tivemos situações nas quais ela era apenas (you guessed it) uma criança.

o começo dá muita agonia pq o cara fica indo e vindo, sendo quente e depois frio, com a protagonista. mas, uma vez que eles se entendem, o romance é legal, o drama é bom e o hot é excelente rs

Great 4th installment in the ‘Curves & Capital’ series. This one involves single dad, attorney, David fighting for custody of his cute daughter with his nightmare of an ex. Nora is the head teacher of his daughter’s school. I loved that they have both nursed a secret crush on each other for ages, but have never acted on it. During the stressful fight against David’s ex, the two grow closer and I enjoyed the way their attraction suddenly erupts into passion – which could cause serious problems for both of them should it become public knowledge. A good read as all of the characters are totally relatable for the reader; I really liked David’s cute daughter and Nora’s lovable Golden Retriever. An enjoyable tale, can’t wait for the next in the series.

David is a man of rules and legal markers. Nora is Michaela’s principal, a woman of heart and hidden strength. The chemistry is off the charts and fighting it gets harder.
With characters from previous books we have amazing family, drama, humour and ohh spice that burns.
I laughed out loud and cried the next minute. I wanted to shake both characters and then hug them hard.

Waaaaaayyyyyyyyy too long with much too little happening. I should have followed my gut and not bothered with this one.

The daughter was written as so overly precocious it was annoying. The MC characters have known each other for years, been interested but never crossed the clear line of parent/school employee but the moment the custody issue pops up suddenly they can’t control themselves. Even knowing it will cause problems with the custody AND cause there to be questions with the FMC’s work. Between those main issues and all the unnecessary added fluffy I was either annoyed or bored throughout the book.

Dial A for Attorney is the fourth book in the Curves & Capital series by Megan Wade. Over the years Megan Wade has remained on my favorite author list and this book cements that even more. The story is about Nora Harrison, a private prep school principal, and David Kinglsey, a single father to Michaela, and who is running on the edge. The story had me laughing, cringing, a few tears were shed and I just kept holding my breath waiting for everyone to get their HEA.

This is probably my favorite book of the Curves and Capital series, which is impressive because at first I was irritated that I had to wait another book for D and J. David and Nora are dynamic characters that had me connecting with them along with an adorable daughter and golden retriever that makes this story scream Hallmark Movie! It is well written, has a great plot and so descriptive you think you are right there with them as it unfolds.
