He’s her childhood nemesis. She’s his longest crush.

Josie Thompson is ready to start over. She’s got her heart set on a life in Australia—new people, new places, new adventures. That is, until she finds herself jobless, with an empty bank account and no clear way out of Braggan Valley. When she’s offered a nannying job at the local ranch, she should be over the moon—but she knows nothing about kids, and she’s never learned to cook either. Plus, there’s one more problem…

Enter, Wyatt Holden.

Wyatt has always been a carefree, happy-go-lucky kind of guy—sailing through life on good looks and cowboy charm. But things haven’t been so easy at the ranch in recent years, and it’s time for him to step up and prove himself to his family. With a barn to convert, and less than three months to do it, the last thing he needs is a distraction…but that’s exactly what he’s getting.

Featuring forced proximity, unresolved tension, and two people who’ve been bickering since childhood, there’s no denying that it’s going to be a long, hot summer at Moon River Ranch.

ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review.

Right off the bat I can tell you I loved that there was a recap of book one with a little note from the author explaining everything and what was important for the book if you hadn’t read it. Wish I saw more or that.

Wyatt Holden has been in love with Josie since the third grade. When she becomes his brother’s nanny the opportunity to change her option of him falls right into his lap and he’s willing to spend all summer making her see how he feels. I absolutely loved the kids in this book. So funny and so much personality. Wyatt and his brothers’ group chat had me cackling on the airplane. What an adorable story.

After enjoying Found With You, I was excited to dive into Wyatt and Josie's story. Unfortunately, this one ended up being a 3 star read for me. It wasn't bad by any means. I just kept wanting a little more.

This is a dual POV, small town romance with cowboy vibes, a black cat and golden retriever dynamic, enemies to lovers vibes, a unique nanny romance, and no third act breakup (which I always appreciate!).

Wyatt was definitely the highlight of this book for me. He was emotionally mature, incredibly lovable, and such a great uncle. I loved his unwavering feelings and the way he wore his heart on his sleeve. My favorite quote was, "It's you, darlin'. It's always been you." ❤️

I struggled more with Josie. I understood where she was coming from, but after a while it felt like she spent too much of the book pushing Wyatt away. I found myself wanting to see their relationship evolve a little sooner, and because of that, the story started to drag for me.

There were still plenty of things I enjoyed. The banter between Wyatt and Josie was fun, there were a few moments that made me smile, the spice was light but well done, and I appreciated the Alzheimer's representation. I also loved getting a quick refresher at the beginning of the book since it's part of a series, and it was nice spending a little more time with characters from the first book.

The epilogue was a really sweet way to wrap everything up and left me smiling.

Overall, this was a solid read, but I found myself skimming the second half because I was hoping for a little more emotional depth and relationship development. Even though this one wasn't quite a hit for me, I'm still invested in this family and would happily read books about Wyatt's brothers. I'm especially hoping El and Parker get their own story!

This is the second book by this author, and once again, I was completely blown away!

This is Josie and Wyatt's story. Josie is the younger sister of Caden from FWY, and Wyatt is her childhood nemesis. Through a series of events, Josie ends up working on Wyatt's family ranch for the summer, and as with the best small-town romances, sparks begin to fly.

The slow burn in this book is painfully good. When I say I was screaming at my Kindle, that's probably the polite version! The banter between Josie and Wyatt was perfection. Their chemistry jumped off the page, and it was impossible not to root for them. They complemented each other so well, and every interaction felt natural and believable.

And when the romance finally delivers? Whew. Let's just say Wyatt completely earned his place on the book-boyfriend list.

Beyond the romance, this story carries a lot of emotional weight. Josie lost her parents at a young age, and Wyatt's father is living in a nursing home with Alzheimer's. These themes were handled with so much care and sensitivity that I found myself tearing up more than once. The author beautifully balances the humour, romance, and heartbreak, creating a story that feels both uplifting and deeply emotional.

If you love:
❤️ Witty banter
❤️ Childhood enemies to lovers
❤️ Small-town romance
❤️ A tattooed, sassy FMC
❤️ An MMC who would do absolutely anything for his girl
❤️ Heartfelt family dynamics and emotional depth

...then you need to add this book to your TBR immediately.

This was everything I wanted from a romance and more, and I can't wait to read whatever this author writes next!

Wild with You 🦋
Josie Thompson got herself a new life in Australia.
Until she found herself jobless, with an empty bank account and an only option to return back to Braggan Valley
Carefree days are long gone for Wyatt Holden, and distractions aren't what he needs, unless those are called Josie.

Wild With You was a book I wanted to read since I Found With You was over,so as expected I screamed and cried when I got the ARC & I waited for the perfect opportunity to read it,so when summertime hit and responsibilities were zero,I took the chance and OH MY GOD,WHAT DID I JUST EXPERIENCED?🩵
To start with,I knew Harper's writing skills,so it was not unexpected that it would be fire, but let me say she overdid herself this time. The way she tangled the romance, with the sub genres while giving us such complex characters were spectacular.I completely fell in love with Josie's bubbly character,Wyatt's inner strength and basically with everyone in that ranch.
Specifically, now their romance was just so surprising and completely expected at the same time.Like in every scene you could see how different and yet how similar they are. How they think that they are completely opposites, but even how they MUST be together, how they MUST be one.& of course how wild they are together.
Although, what definitely wretched me and made me give that 5 star was the goddamn epilogue.I just cried and had to pause my brain for a minute, but hey THAT WAS A GOOD BOOK.
So,this girl right here is sitting on the edge of her seat, until I read that title that ends with With You again ✨

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The way that this book completely shattered my little heart is an absolute understatement.
Everything starts out so perfectly with the incredible banter between Josie and Wyatt. That very first scene with Josie was so incredibly relatable, it perfectly captures that feeling of "when everything is going wrong, it just keeps getting worse" on a day when the universe is just not on your side! But little by little, as they start getting along and Wyatt keeps pushing and pushing to be good to Josie, the love story unfolds and omg😍😍😍😍 It is beautiful to watch.
Beyond the romance, I absolutely loved the strong family support system from both sides. Josie’s friends are also incredible; they are always there for her and are the perfect sounding boards to help her stay reasonable when navigating Wyatt's situation.
Speaking of situations, Buck’s storyline was so incredibly heavy and difficult to read. Losing a family member is always hard, but watching someone slip away little by little while they are still physically alive is a completely different, profound level of grief. It was handled beautifully, but it absolutely broke me by the end.
I kept waiting for the typical "third act breakup" or a massive, dramatic fight between Josie and Wyatt, and I am honestly so glad it never came lol! It was refreshing to see them handle things differently.
I truly loved this book so much, and I would give absolutely anything to experience it again for the very first time.

Thank you NetGalley and the author for the eARC!

I'm the type of reader who avoids blurbs whenever possible because I love being surprised by a story. The only thing I knew about Wild With You going in was that it featured a nemesis-like relationship between the main characters. Naturally, I expected lots of banter, plenty of spice, and a fast-moving romance.

What I didn't expect was the slow burn.

And oh, how it burned.

One of my favorite things about this book was that it took its time. We really got to know the characters, their motivations, their insecurities, and the lives they had built before finding their way to each other. The banter was absolutely there, as was the chemistry, but the slower pace allowed the relationships and emotions to develop naturally.

I also adored the found family aspect of the story. Those relationships added so much warmth and heart, making Moon River Ranch feel like a place I'd happily spend more time in. And as someone who is an absolute sucker for cowboy romances, the ranch setting was a huge bonus.

The only thing that kept this from being a higher rating for me was that I wished there had been more scenes between Wyatt and Josie. By the end, I loved them individually, but I wanted a few more moments that really showcased their connection and made me fully feel that spark between them.

Overall, this was a sweet, cozy, slow-burn cowboy romance filled with banter, found family, and plenty of heart. If you love small-town settings and cowboy heroes, this one is definitely worth picking up. 🤠💛

ARC received from author - tysm Lynsey 🫶🏼🐴

I am officially a cowboy romance convert, and Wild with You has completely cemented that for me.

This book had EVERYTHING I love in a romance.
Wyatt is a complete sweetheart, a massive yearner, and exactly the kind of man who makes you kick your feet and smile like an idiot. But also will happily stir the pot.
Josie was the perfect spunky and snarky black cat type. From the first moment I was introduced to her I was like “oh yeah, this one’s got a fire in her!”

Beyond the romance, this story had so much heart.
From grief and loss, to navigating alzheimers and the impact it has on families. It was all handled so beautifully and with such care & compassion.
The history of Chuck & Edith, and their Moon River Ranch had me near tears, and the love that built their family made this story feel incredibly emotional and grounded.

I’ve read it in a couple cowboy romances now, but I love the themes of healing, mental health, and equine therapy woven throughout the story. It’s something I really respect and something I’m deeply interested in learning more about.

This may have been my first book I’ve read by Lynsey but I can say with certainty it won’t be the last. She had me giggling, blushing, aching and had me falling HARD for these characters.

If you love cowboy romance, yearning heroes, strong heroines, found family, and a story that will make you want to move to a ranch and find yourself a cowboy who calls you darlin’… this one is for you. ❤️‍🔥🐴

After reading Found With You, I was excited to dive back into this world, and Wild With You did not disappoint. This small-town ranch romance delivered plenty of heart, tension, and swoon-worthy moments while giving us a relationship that felt both frustrating and incredibly rewarding to watch unfold.

Josie and Wyatt's chemistry was undeniable from the start. The banter? Sharp. The tension? Delicious! That 'love to hate you' energy was *chefs kiss*. I loved watching their walls come down as they learned to trust each other, and the emotional moments hit just as hard as the romantic ones.

The story line for Wyatt's dad absolutely broke my heart. Having lost someone to the same condition, those scenes hit me right in the feels. The way Lynsey Harper portrayed the love, grief, and challenges that come with it felt incredibly emotional and added so much depth to the story.

What I loved:
♡ Josie's sassy attitude.
♡ Kevin! 🐱
♡ Wyatt's nickname for Josie. 🤭
♡ The emotional depth of Wyatt's family storyline.
♡ The banter and chemistry between Josie and Wyatt.

If you love:
✨ Nanny x fun uncle
✨ Cowboy romance
✨ Love to hate you energy
✨ Small-town setting
✨ Strong emotional growth
✨ Swoon-worthy moments
Then this one's for you!

This is my honest review of an Advance Reader Copy received from the Author.

I loved this book before it even began. Lynsey led it off with a series summary, pointing out key characters, places and timelines. This was a very nice refresher for those of us who have read the first book of the series, Found With You. I also loved that it gave readers the opportunity to skip over it if they didn't want spoilers from the last book.

As someone who has family with Alzheimer's, reading about it is always close to my heart. So when I discovered that Wyatt's dad had this disease, I immediately became emotionally invested. I believe this sensitive topic was written beautifully.

Both Wyatt and Josie are dealing with grief in their own way, and both of them have battles to overcome regarding it. Along the way they migrated from childhood enemies, to friends with benefits, and eventually to lovers. I really enjoyed that their stories encompassed their feelings, thoughts, fears and their future plans, and that they gradually realize that their future is together.

Overall, this was such a lovely story that I could not put down. I inhaled it in just a single day, and I hope that another book in the series follows soon, because I need more from this fictional small town.

Slow burn cowboy love

Wow I absolutely loved this book! The second in the series and I was hooked from the beginning.

Josie & Wyatts love story is definitely not to be missed. His clear love for her is what every girl dreams of.
They have such chemistry and pure banter from the start and it is so sweet. There is a lot of emotional love behind both these characters and it is very well reflected throughout.

When Wyatt takes care of Josie when she was absolutely down and feeling miserable about her time of the month. It was so wonderful to see him handle the situation and just not at all be bothered about something that a lot of men would avoid.

The ranch & family aspect also makes this book special. I love when side characters actually add something special to a book. Lynsey absolutely did them justice

A wonderful balance of humour, romance, banter and heartbreak.

I could not put this book down! So well written and left me wanting more books from this author.

Please write more books soon Lynsey 🙏

This is my honest review of an Advance Review Copy received from the author, Wyatt and Josie have never gotten along - he spent as much time as humanly possible winding her up and humiliating her as a kid and she still hasn't forgiven him for being a massive pain in her backside! Turns out Wyatt was just trying to get Josie to pay him some attention (be warned this is a VERY risky strategy best avoided but what's done is done!!) Anyway, Josie ends up living and working on the ranch where Wyatt and his family live over the summer to help out with his niece and nephew while everybody is rushed off their feet running the ranch and sorting out a new dancehall on the property. Can Wyatt show Josie how much he has changed since they were younger and prove that he is somebody worth keeping around?

I absolutely loved this - such a perfect blend of laughing, crying and kicking my feet in the air. The epilogue - good god prepare yourselves and have tissues handy!

You honestly can't go wrong with a cowboy romance set in the Canadian Rockies! This is a loathe to love story between Wyatt and Josie. Having grown up together Josie has been pranked and picked on by Wyatt her whole life, to say she despises that man is an understatement. When she loses her job and is in desperate need of earning money for her dreams of going to Australia, Wyatt's brother needs a nanny on the ranch. Upside, she earns money, downside she has to tolerate Wyatt.
Wyatt has had a lifelong crush on Josie, was he dumb when he was younger, absolutely but he is determined to win Josie over and prove to her people can change.
This is a beautiful love story, full of stubbornness and yearning and the spicy scenes are fire! I loved this book so much!! I cannot wait to add this book to my shelf!

If you love a good cowboy romance, you won’t want to miss this one!

I can’t believe this is only her second novel! I knew with the first that there was natural talent there but this one has blown me away! This has to be one of the most heart-melting, tear jerking, push and pull, full on slow burn teaser I’ve read this year!

He falls first and she wants to believe that what she feels is a deep loathing until that first kiss and then she can’t get enough. Did I mention the 4 other brothers, their very distinct personalities and their group chats🤣

I know this is a series that will rank right up there as one of the greats. If you love Elsie, Jessica, Bailey and Paisley, you are going to want to get in on this and follow along🩷

Tropes:
🤠 Nanny x Fun Uncle
🤠 Loathe to Love
🤠 Black Cat x Golden Retriever
🤠 Cowboy/Ranch Romance
🤠 Frenemies with Benefits
🤠 It’s always been you (And more)

I absolutley loved her debut novel, Found With You, book 1 in the series. So add it to your TBR but don’t leave it there to long🤠

4 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed this story and loved the dynamic between Josie and Wyatt throughout the book. Their back and forth felt natural, and I enjoyed seeing how well they fit together. I also loved watching the growth between the characters because it felt heartwarming and genuine. The emotional depth throughout the story was done amazingly. The ending absolutely shattered my heart. Alzheimer's is something that hits really close to home for me, so Wyatt's thoughts and feelings throughout those moments felt incredibly real and relatable. That feeling of holding onto all of your memories with someone while being afraid of the good moments becoming overshadowed by the difficult ones was written in a way that really hit me. All in all, it is a very sweet easy to read romance.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book from Lynsey Harper, but it won’t be the last for sure.

I got pulled into the action from the very first chapter because Josie’s rather unfortunate turn of events is relatable. It’s a classic when it rains, it pours and, boy, did it pour.

In addition to liking how Josie and Wyatt’s relationship developed throughout the book, I really enjoyed the family dynamic and how present other characters were.

Things I adored:

✨ Fuck it moment
✨ Darling’
✨ He takes care of her

The only minus for this book was that it was maybe a little too fast-paced for me. But the upside was the ending, which I absolutely loved.

Can’t wait for the next one in the series🌟

✨Out into the world on July 14!✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Okay, I'm a sucker for a cowboy romance. It's probably my favourite subgenre.

I am so thankful to have received this ARC because I absolutely loved it.

The story starts in such a beautiful way, showing Wyatt and Josie's relationship over the years as they grow up together. The transition between their past and present was seamless. The flirty banter was still there, but you could clearly see how their friendship had grown into something deeper.

Josie is such a strong character. Everything she's been through has shaped who she is, but watching her slowly open up to Wyatt and seeing how his love helped her find herself again was so special.

And Wyatt... the man you are 😮‍💨👏 This man absolutely worships the ground Josie walks on, and it's obvious from the very beginning. His love and devotion to her shine through the entire book.

The theme of family throughout this story was beautiful. It played such an important role in the plot and made the whole book feel even more heartfelt and special ❤️

Thank you so much to Victory Editing NetGalley Coop for the ARC! I was intrigued by this story after reading the synopsis and it did not disappoint! This was my first time reading a book my Lynsey Harper but starting from book 2 didn’t feel like i missed out on anything - I really enjoyed the recap in the beginning. I also love reading books set in Canada and to see it set in the Rockies with some of my favourite tropes was truly too good! The slow burn between Josie and Wyatt was so intense and they really took their time but it was worth it for the story to really see their relationship build and grow. It really was a great read!

I love how the enemy to lovers trope is really one sided, the FMC hates the MMC but the MMC is in love with the FMC. It's such an interesting dynamic and I really enjoyed the banter, but I also love that there was no 3rd act break up. So many books have that break up, it's annoying. But this book did not have that and it made it really enjoyable. I can't to go back and read the first books in the series and i'm also really excited for the next one!

Bravo and another 5 stars to Lynsey! She truly is someone to watch out for.

Things to note: Lynsey's books are tension-filled and medium-burn pace on the spice. That being said, the plot is captivating from the very beginning.
