Sara Cate can do no wrong! If she writes it, I just know I’m going to love it!
Amelia has always had a crush on her godfather, Matis. He’s a natural charmer who has always been sexually open but detached from relationships. When he mentions wanting to start dating seriously, Amelia agrees to help him set up an online dating profile in exchange for lessons on men and what to look for in a good boyfriend.
Amelia has it bad, bad! Sis has been in love with this man forever. And I get it. He says and does all the right things. When she offered to help him, I was like, what is she doing?! It sounded like torture to me, but it definitely created forced proximity with her helping him. I absolutely love a forbidden romance, and given how sexually open Amelia’s social circle seems to be, I don’t think this arrangement felt weird to her.
Matis has the most charisma of any MMC I’ve ever read. This man is dripping in seduction. Add to that a sultry French accent?! Literally, my jaw dropped when I heard him talk. I do not blame Amelia for one second for falling for this man! I loved his tortured reactions to wanting Amelia. It felt genuine to how he was feeling, and I loved how their relationship progressed.
You know eventually their relationship will be discovered, but the way it went down was pure drama. The last quarter of this book was filled with angst and hope. I loved it so much!
This book is full cast narrated by Sean Masters, Desiree Ketchum, Brandon Francis, Samantha Brentmoor, and Aaron Shedlock. They knocked it out of the park! The inflection and personality each narrator brought to their performance truly brought the story to life. The narrator for Matis’s character was amazing! I loved them all, but you won’t forget Matis!

Then a plan gets set up for them to help eachother find partners. Matis is and has always been a lover. He just wants to be with people and have a good time and is ready to maybe settle down. His goddaughter offers to help him on the dating apps but things start to take a turn after he brings his date back to the sex club and accidentally says Amelia's name during the climax... you can ONLY IMAGINE where things go from there

The Daddy's Girl is my new favorite of the series! And when you meet daddy Matis, you'll understand why!!

Amelia has loved the same man her whole life. Only he happens to be her godfather. Her father's best friend. And 28 years older than her. He's never seen her that way. So it's time for her to move on. When she learns that he's tired of current lifestyle and wants to settle down, she decides helping him move on, will help her move on. That's just not what happens though.
This one just ticked off all my boxes. Forbidden age gap vibes. A splash of angst. Plenty of tension and longing. Chemistry that ignites! Both these characters drew me in, but Matis I was a total goner for. The charm. The sex appeal. Sure he didn't know how to communicate to date, but he sure knew how to talk the talk at other times if you know what I mean!! I ate it up. There was also so much tender care and support that brought swoon. ADHD rep too. This book just hit the spot! So much so, I finished it in one sitting. Definitely recommend!

I flew through this book in one day and I could honestly have read about Amelia and Matis forever. They have officially secured a place in my top favorite couples in the
Salacious series.
I CANNOT wait to get my physical copy and experience it all over again❤️
I think this is one of Sara's best written books yet. The relationship between Amelia and Matis was developed so well, and I absolutely loved getting to watch their friendship evolve. Their banter had me smiling and giggling from the very beginning, and the connection between them felt so natural.
And when these two finally gave in…🥵🔥 The chemistry and tension were absolutely undeniable! While the family complications added another exciting layer. And the spice? She absolutely delivered! I love the way she always adds that perfect hint of taboo, and this book was no exception.
I thought Sara's portrayal of ADHD was written beautifully and handled with so much care and compassion. I loved how Matis always seemed to know exactly what she needed - whether that was support, encouragement, or simply being there for her❤️
Overall, this was such a fantastic, steamy read with incredible chemistry, plenty of tension and a story I thoroughly enjoyed! This book will definitely be a story I’ll be returning to, and I cannot wait for everyone to meet Amelia and Matis and experience their story for themselves.

This book was so fun! I love an age gap (dad's best friend) and this hit just right. I loved the yearning both characters had towards each other, and how they tried so hard to resist each other due to their relationship.
The audiobook was done so well too!

Now this one really hit the spot! This was my first father’s best friend romance, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I listened to the audiobook, and Matis’s narrator was so perfect for the role. I could picture his character through the narration!
I loved the entire vibe of Amelia’s family. They were so close knit, and everyone had such unique relationships with one another. That made it break my heart a little that Amelia didn’t feel like she could confide in them about her crush on Matis. Their relationship is definitely considered taboo, so I completely understood why she was hesitant. She didn’t want to risk changing the way her family saw either her or Matis.
When they finally gave in to their feelings, my heart was so happy! I loved seeing how much happiness they brought out in each other. And oh my goodness, that epilogue was absolutely perfect! This is exactly the kind of ending I love a super happy HEA, with their family ultimately accepting them both.

The chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥, and I loved the tension between the characters. Sara Cate knows how to write a forbidden romance that keeps you turning the pages, even when you’re screaming at the characters to PLEASE make better decisions!
There were moments that absolutely worked for me and a few things that kept it from being a full 5-star read, but overall? I was entertained, invested, and thoroughly sucked into the story.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just maybe don’t tell me I’m the same person after reading it. 😂

I absolutely inhaled this book - could not put it down. I LOVED the audio - I did not know that I needed Sean Masters in a French accent - but apparently I did. I might even have to do a re-listen at some point b/c it was that good. Matias is the ultimate daddy - his sex appeal is oozing out of this book in spades. This has age gap and forbidden love, a decades long crush and more.
No one does forbidden romance like Sara Cate and even though I don't own a red bow - I figured a red bow post in honor of Amelia is perfect.
You absolutely must pick this up when it is released on September 1st.

Highest Bidder is my favourite book from the og salacious players club so going into The Daddy’s Girl I was so excited but nervous to see how this would all play out, but I knew I could trust Sara to never disappoint me. I loved The Daddy’s Girl so much.
We start with Amelia who feels a little unsure with her place at the club but one thing for certain is that she’s had a giant crush on Matis since she was a teenager but has never thought anything could happen. I loved how much depth there was to Amelia’s character, I really understood her from the very start and loved seeing her growth throughout the book as she became more confident and comfortable with who she is and what she wants. She was never really afraid to claim what she wanted with Matis even though it’s forbidden.
I knew I’d love Matis, he’s the exact type of MMC that I always fall head over heels for but I didn’t realise how much I’d love him. He was always there for Amelia whenever she needed him even before she realised it herself. Even if it meant just being in the same room for her, he was there. While he hasn’t had feelings for Amelia for as long as she has for him, that didn’t make them feel any less big and real. From the moment he realised I could really feel his love through the pages even when he tried to resist and deny them. I loved Amelia and Matis together, you could tell from the very start just how much they cared for each other and their first kiss had me swooning. It was magic as Matis would say. Their love may not be as flashy and loud as some other relationships but I felt the deep love they had for each other and I loved seeing it grow as I continued to read their story.
The spice was everything I expect from a Sara Cate, delicious with a hint of taboo. I can’t really say more without spoilers but I loved every second of it and just loved how Amelia and Matis never needed to change each other to fit together perfectly in this aspect too. The scenes at the club will live rent free in my head for the foreseeable future.
I also want to mention I loved the little friendship moments for Amelia in this book, the girlhood moments made me smile just as much as the romance and I can’t wait to hopefully see more of these moments in the other characters books.
I honestly couldn’t put this book down which is praise itself as I’ve been in such a book slump this whole year.
This was such a fun, swoony and sexy read and I honestly just wish it was longer because I could never get tired of them.
I highly recommend this book!! Also totally cheered out loud when I found out who the next book is about. I can’t wait!!

Amelia offers to help Matis get on various dating apps to try to find a partner, and she is trying to do the same, but her all-consuming crush on Matias makes it difficult for her to be objective when it comes to him. This might be the biggest age-gap romance I have read to date, and honestly, once I started this book, I couldn't stop reading. Sara Cate knows how to keep her readers' attention! There is so much tension between Matis and Amelia because of the will-they-won't-they pull between them. They both know it's wrong, but they cannot stay away from each other or the temptation the other person brings. There is so much at stake, so much risk in their pairing, that the tension bubbles up every single time they are together, even before they start hooking up. There is also quite a bit of emotion between these two, as well as a tremendous amount of chemistry, since they have been friends and have trusted each other for so long. Because of the nature of their relationship, emotions will run high if anyone finds out they are sneaking around, but they don't want to tell anyone for the same reasons. Can their love survive? The spice in this book is so freaking good, but it's Sara freaking Cate, you have to go in expecting the spice to be earth-shatteringly good. I honestly love the way this book ended... no spoilers, but I think it was perfect and full of drama and, as the title says, salaciousness, plus the family complications and added new London club plotline. This beautiful forbidden love story follows 25 year old Amelia, and 53 year old Matis, her godfather. Yep, you read that right. Forbidden as they come, age gap. The whole nine yards. Matis is old enough to know what he wants, well he thinks he does anyway. He never sees himself settling down. That is until a feisty little blonde with a bob that he has never looked at other than just a “little girl” changes that.
This story held a special place in my heart honestly.. I cried more times than what I will admit. The first time Matis and Amelia had their encounter and Amelia was the one to talk Matis into pushing it, he kept saying “oh my god” and “what have I done” and things along the line of “we shouldn’t be doing this”. Funny thing is, my husband and I had that exact same thing our first kiss. Steamy and full of passion, but both of us kept saying “this is a bad idea” and we formed into one of the most beautiful stories as did Amelia and Matis.
What I loved even more is the fact that in this whole family, everyone is obviously understanding for the fact that nothing is “normal”. They are used to “forbidden” things. And that is beautiful all in itself.

This book had me completely hooked from the very beginning! The forbidden love, the huge age gap, and the undeniable chemistry between Amelia and Matis made this such an addictive read.
Amelia has loved Matis for years, but watching their relationship shift from something completely off limits into something neither of them can resist was EVERYTHING. Their connection felt intense, complicated, and absolutely impossible to ignore. I loved the way they tried to play matchmaker for each other.
The intimate scenes were definitely delicious, but what really got me was the emotional connection between them. Their chemistry felt so genuine and intense that you could practically feel how deeply they cared for each other.
I love how we get Amelia’s little self discovery journey throughout the book. And Matis? Total perfection. I loved how he mixed English and French. Okay, I have a confession: I usually don’t pick up books with a huge age gap because I always convince myself that it’s probably not going to be for me… and then I read one and somehow end up loving it every single time. 😂 Honestly, I don’t know what to think about myself anymore.
Because tell me why I was completely invested in Amelia and Matis?! The forbidden aspect of their relationship, the years of longing, and the fact that they kept trying to find other people when they were clearly the only ones who could compare to each other? I was hooked.
Amelia has been in love with Matis for years, but he’s her father’s best friend and her godfather, so obviously nothing about this relationship is simple. Watching them try to fight their feelings only made the tension between them even better.
And once they finally gave in? 🥵🔥
And can we talk about the audio?! Especially the full cast audio! The French accents, the performances, the chemistry… everything about it was so good. It added so much to the story, and I honestly loved experiencing Amelia and Matis’s journey this way. 🎧✨

Okay, I have a confession: I usually don’t pick up books with a huge age gap because I always convince myself that it’s probably not going to be for me… and then I read one and somehow end up loving it every single time. 😂 Honestly, I don’t know what to think about myself anymore.
Because tell me why I was completely invested in Amelia and Matis?! The forbidden aspect of their relationship, the years of longing, and the fact that they kept trying to find other people when they were clearly the only ones who could compare to each other? I was hooked.
Amelia has been in love with Matis for years, but he’s her father’s best friend and her godfather, so obviously nothing about this relationship is simple. Watching them try to fight their feelings only made the tension between them even better.
And once they finally gave in? 🥵🔥
And can we talk about the audio?! Especially the full cast audio! The French accents, the performances, the chemistry… everything about it was so good. It added so much to the story, and I honestly loved experiencing Amelia and Matis’s journey this way. 🎧✨

🥵🥵🥵🥵 The Daddy’s Girl
Okay… this might be my new favorite book in the Salacious Legacy series! And listening to it on audio took everything to another level. I absolutely ATE this one up! 🔥🎧
Amelia wants the one man she absolutely shouldn’t be lusting after—Matis. He’s not only a few decades older than her, but he’s also her father’s best friend and her godfather. Talk about forbidden! 👀🔥
The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and the spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. But one of my favorite parts was seeing Matis’ character growth throughout the book. He goes from the quintessential playboy who swore he would never settle down to completely falling head over heels for Amelia. ❤️
I’m a HUGE Sara Cate fan and have read almost all of her books, and somehow they just keep getting better with each one. The Daddy’s Girl is no exception!

I absolutely DEVOURED this book and it has been a VERY anticipated read for me!! I love anything forbidden and that’s exactly what these two are with Matis being Amelia’s godfather, being her dad’s best friend, and 28 years older. She’s had a crush/been in love with him for years, but once Matis starts to see her as a woman, it’s game over. They are pulled together, no matter how much he tries to resist….and boy does he really try. But these two are the perfect example of being made for each other - they truly do balance each other out so well in all aspects.
And the audio was absolutely FANTASTIC! Performed in a multi cast duet narration with Desiree Ketchum as Amelia Kade && Sean Masters as Matis Moreau. It also features a supporting cast includes Brandon Francis, Samantha Brentmoor, and Aaron Shedlock. Honestly they were all the perfect casting and I listened to almost this entire book in a single day because I couldn’t stop!

Sara Cate, I must say this is your finest work to date! The Salacious Legacy Series has been fantastic but this book took it to a whole new level. The forbidden aspect was portrayed so well it had me absolutely feral! I love an age gap romance and Sara Cate can write an age gap like no other, what may seem wrong to most has never been so right 😩🔥 Matis is her godfather & her father’s best friend, she has had a crush on him since she was a teen…when he finally sees her as the grown woman she is the chemistry is undeniable.
THE CHEMISTRY, wowowowow it was dripping off the page and the audiobook literally had my jaw on the floor…Sean Masters as Daddy Matis, that should not even be legal because I am now unwell. This is easily a 6+ star read that I already can’t wait to pick up again!

This was my first Sara Cate book and I had a really good time with it! I’m always down for a forbidden romance, and Amelia and Matis’ relationship definitely fit the bill! Obviously I went in expecting the spice (and was NOT disappointed), but I liked that there was an actual storyline with sweet/emotionally vulnerable moments mixed in. I love an immersive read, so having both the ebook and audiobook was perfect for me. Getting to hear Daddy Matis and that French accent is definitely the way to go! The full cast audio was also a bonus, and made it fun to listen to. Overall, a solid 4 star read and a pretty dang entertaining introduction to Sara Cate!
