Safe in His Arms is a 4 book box set of interconnected characters immersed in danger, suspense, drama, and steamy chemistry. These supplemental characters to the Platinum Security world each earn their place on the team as they fall for the women they are assigned to protect.
Stars and Scars is a rocking first book in the Platinum Security series spinoff! I was intrigued by Grayson ever since he first appeared in that series, and I thoroughly loved his story. He and Charlotte have dynamite chemistry, and they make quite the duo! Charlotte’s sunshine personality and her heart of gold are so enigmatic, and I adore that she is always looking to help others. Her proactive and practical outlook are refreshing, as is her ability to balance her needs with the needs of her situation. She allows Grayson to keep her safe and she is always willing to hear him out. Grayson is quite the mysterious personality, which tracks given his background. Watching him grow and open his heart to Charlotte is swoony sweet. With a lovely blend of action, intrigue, mystery, drama, and steam, the story moves quickly and is so easy to get sucked into. The narrators’ performances enhance the world building and really bring the characters to life. Loved it!
Silk & Steel is the enthralling second story in the Platinum Security series spinoff. Retired Navy SEAL Cole is an enigma wrapped in a mystery, and watching him navigate being Emory’s bodyguard while her psycho ex threatenes her and her loved ones is so much fun. Emory has built a career on her own, but has zero awareness of security and safety. It’s fascinating to me how she pushes Cole’s buttons so much. The chemistry between them is intense, and the level of crazy Julian brings is off the chain. The action, adventure, and wide array of supporting characters presents a multifaceted plot with lots of twists and heat. So much fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook—the narrators performed the various roles and personalities beautifully and elevated this story to the next level of entertainment. Their voices are smooth and easy to listen to, and the characters’ personalities really shined.
Glamour & Grit is pulse pounding action and heat! This third installment features traumatized veteran Dane assigned as bodyguard to Selene, a Hollywood special effects creator whose brother has put her in grave danger through his own foolish actions. Dane is complex and fascinating—his hard angles juxtaposed by the softer side that Selene brings out of him. Selene is stubborn and lacks common sense when it comes to safety and security, but she makes up for it with her caring and compassion. That she keeps bailing her brother out is understandable, but she really needs to learn the lesson of where to draw the line. Dane and Selene teach each other a lot as they navigate the challenges thrown their way, and the scene where he confesses his feelings is beautifully done.
Velvet and Valor is an action-packed thrill ride filled with humor, danger, suspense, and steam. Retired Army Ranger Axel is precocious, daring, and wild—hiding a truly suffering soul underneath. June is—well, she is bossy and controlling but also completely unaware of her surroundings most of the time. She is impulsive and bold while also being being caring and sweet. That she truly sees Axel and his softer side is beautiful, and he falls so freaking hard for her! They give into their feelings with wild abandon, and their chemistry is off the charts. The twists and turns in the plot are engaging and keep you on your toes.
The audiobook is on point with narrators who deliver dynamite performances. Loved the extended epilogues that are exclusive to this box set!

Dual narration - Jamie Kersey & Kenneth Elliott
I liked their voices however, I did struggle with Jamie's "male" voice for the male characters. It did not feel like it matched well with the Kenneth's voice style. Also His "female" voice was a little bit kringe. I do think these two are great narrators I just think it would be better in Duet narration. They both have good voices just the opposite sex voice they do is a little hard to get used to. I know that it can not be an easy job so I commend them for their work.

Overall, this is a good and easy listen.

This is an emotional and intense storyline. Cole and Emory have chemistry you can taste. I enjoyed their connection and story.

Selene's life is a mess, her career is doing well but her home life is off track. Her brother is in trouble and gets her involved. Needing protection she hires a security firm. Enter, Dane who is her security guard.
Dane is dealing with PTSD symptoms after being in the navy. He just wants to be numb and doesn't care what happens to himself.
Instantly attracted and connected Selene & Dane have a connection. Maybe she can help him heal his traume and he can save her from her brothers trouble.
This was a good storyline and I enjoyed it.

June & Axel's story
Ok this was my favorite one of the series. Axel is my favorite MMC out of all four.
June and Axel have chemistry to spare. They are hot together.
June is a sassy and feisty FMC and I love it! She is not putting up with Axel's overbearing protectiveness.
I love the romantic suspense of this series it give that extra edge to the stories.
Overall, this is a gripping and suspenseful series. I found it enjoyable.

Book 1 Stars and Scars starts this series off with Charlotte is a digital influencer who is being threateed and Grayson is the newest member of the Platinum Security team. Charlotte wants to film everything, Gray wants to lay low. And then there is the chemistry. Next is Silk and Steel with Cole and Emory. Emory is a choreographer who is being stalked by her ex. If she doesn't do as he says, he will begin to kill her family. It's up to Cole to keep her safe and away from the psychopath. This one filled with action and passion. Third is Glamour & Grit with Selene and Dane. In need of protection, Dane is right there from dressing as a zombie to keeping her in his arms. These two are perfectly matched but that doesn't keep the danger away. Lastly is Velvet and Valor with the crazy Axle protecting June. His antics do what is necessary to keep the bossy woman. I really enjoyed The Complete Platinum Security: Shadows of LA Collection by Kelly Myers.
There are four stories that feature the men from Platinum Security who each end up protecting brave, strong women who have found themselves in danger and in need of protection.
These books are connected as you get to meet and learn about previous people from the security company over the course of the stories, but in saying that you can also be read as stand alones.
Full of action, danger and men who fall for the women that they protect.
I listened to the audiobook that was narrated by Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott.
I enjoyed their interpretations and their performances through each story.

I enjoyed each story in this romantic suspense series. The guys of Platinum Security take their job seriously and each is a former military member with skills and smarts to protect their ward with success. Charlotte and Gray traipse around the LA countryside while evading her stalkers and going on the offenseive to find and bring the group to justice. In Velvet and Valor, Axel tosses out one liners like his life depends on it, but when June is facing imminent danger he steps up and gets the job done. Each story has an unexpected element that takes the book up a level. For Cole and Emory's story, for me, that was the Boy Band that Emory is choreographing for, coming to the rescue, even if it was unsuccessful. In Dane and Selene's efforts to put her ex boyfriend back behind bars, it was the two serial killers that he broke out of prision with him because their histories were chilling. Each story is filled with emotion and feelings that provide depth and weight to the respective relationship. The performances of the narrators are solid and enjoyable, but i will say for me, it took a couple of stories before i began to enjoy the female narrator. To be honest it could be my hearing aids that made her voice grate at times.

The books all have different settings & premises/plots... so it doesn't feel repetitive to listen to/read 4 in a row.

Four books in one! Stars and scars, Silk and Steel, Glamour and Grit as well as Velvet and Valor. This is the Platinum Security stand-alone romantic suspense books. In Stars and Scars, Charlotte has been able to make a life for herself as an internet influencer. She has worked hard to grow sponsorship and helps her parents, so they don't have to work as much. All or it could come crashing down when a cult targets her and threatens her life. She decides she needs help and goes to Platinum Security. Grayson, a former CIA operative, is assigned to protect her. There was an immediate connection between the two. The cult wants her to stop posting content but that is how she makes her living. Good suspenseful read. This is a good read!

This set walks you through each members “situationships” they encounter in their fieldwork. Ohhh and their fields are plentiful. Mercy me, if I needed protection when I was single - I’d definitely hire them.

Save your time and money!
This has to be one of the worst books I’ve ever listened to. 🤣 I only finished it because I wasted an Audible credit on the box set!!
It’s has dual narration (which I love!) but they keep having the women do the worst male voice I have ever heard! Super cringy!
He’s her bodyguard and they fall head over heels in love in a 24 hour period, with the first half of the day bickering . Know absolutely nothing about each other but fall for each other and saying I love you by end of second day. Ridiculous 🤣🤣

Chemistry is off the charts!! Im so glad Kelly Myers did another Platinum Security series. Absolutely loved this spinoff! Each book is based on a different couple. Each woman needs to hire a bodyguard for different reasons. Each man has a different back ground - military, CIA, etc.

This collect is a super way to get your hands on four thrilling and enticing reads that will have your pulse racing, breath catching and heart melting. Each of these books held my interest easily and got me into my Happy Reading mindset quickly. A big bonus here is the extended epilogues that are included for each couple which you definitely do not want to miss out on whether you've read these before and loved them (Like me!), or you are just diving into this series.

This was an amazing full length novel box set filled with some really hot military guys. There were all filled with and chaos. Danger and the protection they gave these women. Each one held its own intensity and heat. The spice was perfect. There were all well written and really engaging. I binged this entire set in a matter of days. These are a definite nose read.

This is a fantastic collection of amazing stories. Each book has the most incredible storylines with an amazing array of characters. Each book had me on the edge of my seat from the very first page to the last. Highly recommend reading this series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is a very good box set of four stories where the men of the firm fall for the women they protect. I liked the combination of action and romance.

Fantastic stories all in one place, each one had wonderful characters and so much drama it was hard to put down and do normal every day tasks instead of just reading.

The stories were all well written perfectly paced pulling you in from the start. Platinum Security comes to help people in need of security where the police can't be of the help they need. Each story deals with a different member but they are all there to help when needed.
