A magnificent collection of essays on Australian cricket, written by a myriad set of writers, spanning about a century. The best part of the book though, are the wonderful photographs - of key moments in matches, of players in the dressing room, team pictures, of cricketers post retirement, that draw the reader much closer into the narrative.
