This is a comprehensive text on data warehousing. The author tackles a complicated subject very methodically. The chapters are well organized, sections are easy to follow, and headings allow the reader to identify each concept and how it is broken down. The illustrations are relevant to the content and easy to understand. Examples provided are helpful. The end of chapter summaries and exercises wrap each chapter up and test the students knowledge. Not only was this a good text for the class, but it will be a good reference book for someone who is tackling data warehousing for the first time.

Very good book about data warehousing. Author doesn't focus on one technology but rather about the methodology and general concepts. It covers a lot of areas. It is written in understandable language and give a lot of useful information. I recommend for all interested in the topic.
