New angle, weak basics
While I applaud this unusual approach of explaining to the reader the many steps that prompts the traveler’s actions and the mindset of various side characters, the entire cast is flat and indistinguishable from each other. They are all just labels. There’s no descriptions or reinforcement of things that set characters apart. This is more of an outline for a novel than novel in itself. Still, I did read them all.
