A hacker who slipped through systems, vanished without a trace, and trusted no one.
Until she disappeared for real.
Six months later, Abby turns up in the last place anyone would look; tied to a bed inside a Halloween haunted house, drugged, broken, and barely holding on.
The man who finds her is a prospect with everything to prove and everything to lose.
Decker knows the rules. Prospects don't go rogue. They don't make personal calls. And they sure as hell don't risk the club for a woman.
But the second he sees her, he doesn't hesitate.
He cuts her free. Brings her straight into Black Saints territory. And puts himself between her and everything coming for her.
Now she's under his watch. Healing. Hunted. Waking up in a world she doesn't trust, except for him.
Decker isn't just keeping her safe. He's counting every bruise, every scar, every second they stole from her.
She's not a job. She's the line he won't let anyone cross. They took her once. They won't get the chance again.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Decker and Abby ) SPOOK follows in the wake of the return and rescue of our story line heroine. Approximately six months earlier, IT hacker Abby disappeared without a trace. Known as The Ghost, the Black Saints MC never suspected Abby was missing until Decker visits a haunted house display where Abby is the main attraction, tied to a bed drugged and unaware. Her rescue comes with weeks of recovery, and in the aftermath, Abby and the MC go down the proverbial rabbit hole looking for the truth.
The world building focuses on recovery, revelations, defense and protection. The club house is attacked, the MC vote to hunt for the people responsible but life in the MC is anything but safe.
The relationship between Abby and Decker is one of mutual attraction but Abby is struggling in her recovery, and Decker is determined to see she is safe. The $ex scenes are limited, passionate but mostly implied, without any use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of determined and intense secondary and supporting characters including the members of the Black Saints MC: Brick, Razor, Shadow, Ramsay, Cash, Pops, Piper,Sprog, Ethan, and some of their significant others.
SPOOK is a fast paced, easy read; a story of power and control, addiction and recovery, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is edgy and dramatic; the romance is limited but fated; the characters are desperate and dynamic.
Spook aka Decker is such a lovely character. He is strong, quiet and dependable in the MC. A Prospect that will make it to Brother.
He looses his leg in an MC related accident…. His journey to healing and acceptance was remarkable. What was of value and what not. Ghost/ Abby is just as quiet and private as Spook. The two making such a great pairing but it takes a while for the timing to be right. She goes trough something very disturbing and Spook is there to help her trough the after math.
Lovely Book written with Care and it carries a descriptive and quiet feeling to it.
Mentions substance abuse and amputation. (not related) If thats a trigger for you take note.
This was a super heart wrenching story where Abby the hacker is rescued by Spook and the circumstances surrounding kidnap is rough. The way he is there for her in the ups and downs is amazing and seeing them trying to figure things out made this story beautiful. They both had journeys they had to deal with, trials to overcome, and love to discover.
