What Happens When Women Are Looked At and God Is Listening
A dress sparked a conversation.
The conversation exposed a culture.
And that culture revealed how often women are watched, weighed, discussed and rarely truly seen.
SEEN was born out of a public moment that many people had opinions about, but few paused to pray over. What began with a dress became a deeper spiritual Who gets to define women and whose eyes actually matter?
This four-week Bible study invites women into a different gaze. Not the crowd’s. Not the church’s. Not culture’s. But God’s.
Rooted in Scripture and shaped by real life, SEEN guides women through identity, discernment, embodied faith, and community responsibility. It explores how God sees, how believers grow, how faith becomes visible, and how women of faith are called to treat one another. This is not a study about clothing. It is a study about calling. About dignity. About freedom. About formation. About what happens when God is allowed to interrupt the narrative.
Designed especially with young adult Black women in mind, SEEN blends biblical depth with reflection, discussion, prayer, journaling, and creative space. Each week moves beyond surface conversation into spiritual formation—inviting women to think, feel, process, heal, and respond in God’s presence.
Inside this study, readers will
• How God’s way of seeing reshapes identity
• How holiness is formed in the heart, not enforced from the outside
• How faith becomes visible through everyday life
• How Christ calls communities to restore, not consume
• How women can live free without living performative
SEEN is for women who are tired of being talked about and ready to be transformed.
For communities ready to move beyond opinions and into discipleship.
For anyone who wants to stop living under the crowd’s eyes and start living before God.
Because women are always being looked at.
But God is always listening.
