Millie and Ace
RIDING WITH THE FAKE HUSBAND BIKER is Book 4 of The Whitetail Falls: Motorcycle Club series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, fake-dating, curvy girl gets her biker romance. Ace is a hunky member of the Night Wolves MC and a mechanic. He is also the guardian for his two younger siblings and is trying to get permanent custody. Millie is a sweet and curvy baker. When her delivery van breaks down, she shows up at Ace's garage. When he gets a call that there has been a complaint against him and that the custody hearing has been moved up, he proposes that Millie be his live-in girlfriend for appearances and that he will fix her van. She agrees but finds she loves the kids and her feelings for Ace are real. He feels the same. Deadwood MC continues to test boundaries and cause trouble. The chemistry between these two was pure fire and the ending was so happy.

I picked up Riding with the Fake Husband Biker expecting a quick, steamy fake-marriage biker romance — and instead got punched directly in the heart.
Ace isn’t your typical alpha biker hero. He’s not reckless… he’s controlled. Every decision he makes is shaped by survival and protecting the only family he has left: his younger siblings. His world is built on responsibility, routine, and emotional walls thick enough to survive anything. Love? Not part of the plan.
Then Millie Roberts quite literally breaks down into his life. She needs her van fixed and protection — and Ace needs a wife on paper to help secure custody of Asher and Emery. Their deal is practical, clean, temporary. Just signatures and shared space. No feelings.
Except… nothing about it stays simple.
What makes this story stand out is that the romance doesn’t just grow between Ace and Millie — it grows inside the house. Watching the siblings slowly relax around Millie is where the book really shines. The fake marriage trope turns into something deeper: a found family healing piece by piece. Every quiet dinner, every protective instinct, every moment Ace doesn’t realize he’s softening made the emotional payoff stronger.
Ace falling isn’t loud or dramatic. It’s reluctant. Gradual. Terrifying for him. And incredibly satisfying for the reader.
Millie is equally lovable — she’s not a helpless heroine. She brings warmth into a home that forgot what warmth felt like, but she never tries to replace anyone. She earns her place, and that makes the relationship feel real instead of convenient.
The tension leading up to the custody hearing had me genuinely anxious. By the time Ace realizes losing Millie might hurt more than losing the case, I was completely invested.
Tropes you’ll love:
Fake marriage
Protective biker hero
Found family
Grumpy/sunshine energy
“I don’t do feelings” hero who absolutely does feelings
Kids that actually matter to the story
Slow emotional burn with real stakes
This isn’t just about pretending to be husband and wife — it’s about two people accidentally building a life neither of them knew they needed.
If you like biker romances with heart, protective heroes who show love through actions, and relationships that feel earned rather than instant, this one delivers.
I came for the trope.
I stayed for the family.
I finished it smiling like I’d just been adopted too.

This is a sweet and heartfelt story about a family dealing with grief, a man trying to keep his family together, and selfess girl finding love and family unexpectedly.
Ace is part of the Whitefalls MC, he also is trying to keep his family together and needs to showcase a secure and safe environment. Millie arrives at his shop asking for help with her delivery van. He strikes a deal with her, he will fix her van in exchange with faking a relationship to help with his custody battle. She fits into the family live seamlessly, she quickly offers care, and becomes a feature in their lives and Ace's heart. But the rival MC wants to inflict pain, and will resort to hurting Ace to achieve it,

Millie is a bakery owner who is having trouble with the Deadwood MC. Ace is a member of the Whitetail Falls: MC and is a mechanic. These two meet when her delivery van breaks down in front of his garage. Ace needs a fake fiancée for a custody hearing to keep his siblings, and she needs someone to fix her delivery van. A deal is made, and before they realize it, sparks are flying between them. I love how the author brought this couple together and how Millie fit in perfectly with the family. This is a fake that turns real, MC romance with a good storyline, MC drama, danger, suspense, steam, and a great ending. Riding With the Fake Husband Biker is book four and a great addition to the Whitetail Falls: Motorcycle Club series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Elevator pitch: in exchange for repairs to her bakery delivery truck, Millie agrees to pose as biker Ace’s (fiancée or wife, it wasn’t clear which because they never went to the courthouse or anything and I think that kind of thing would be easy to check)… whatever, so that he can get permanent custody of his orphaned siblings.
Thoughts: the baker and the biker. Precious.
Further thoughts: I enjoyed the book and thought the family scenes were especially well done. And the sexytime on the couch was excellent.
Heat: explicit
Bechdel test: passed.
Safety? Y
Triggers: , eggshell mishap.
Tropes: fake relationship, small-town bakery, orphan custody, playing house, Instalove.

Emotional Story!
I absolutely loved this story. Ace Davis, Whitetail Falls MC Club of Night Wolves, working on a car in the garage when he hears the sputter of an engine. Millie, Bakery Store Owner, gets out of her van that just died. Ace walks out to her and pops the hood of her van and looks it over. He tells Millie it’s not good. She tells him she has to deliver some 300+ cupcakes to Ridgefield for a wedding. Ace says it’s going to take at least 2-3 days if not more to fix. He excuses himself to take a phone call. When he turns back around the wheels are turning. He says he’ll fix her van by tomorrow and she asks what’s the catch. He tells her… 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊

Ace needs a fake Fiancé and Millie needs her van for her Bakery fixed so she can make her deliveries. Ace is going through a custody hearing so he can keep his siblings and keep them safe. With all the things that are going wrong showing that he has a partner makes him look more stable. The way the author brought these two together made for a really good read. It was gentle and lasting, and not one of those instant lighting fast relationships. I enjoyed reading this book a lot and cannot wait till the next one. This is a must read!!

Keeping a Family Together
I loved the premise of this book because anytime you have a tough biker who is trying to keep his family together, my heart melts. Ace is trying to gain custody of his siblings which seems like it runs into a lot of road blocks due to the club’s rival MC. Now he needs a fake partner to try to win everyone over. Millie fits the bill when her van breaks down and takes Ace up on his deal.
The family dynamics in this book touched my heart. This was a great find of a book.

This is a fast fun read that puts Ace who needs a fake engagement with Millie who needs help to fix her bakery van.
Millie isn't just a damsel in distress; she’s a hardworking business owner. Seeing two people trade their specific "superpowers" (his resources for her warmth and help) creates a partnership of equals right from the start. When you add in the the siblings Ace is trying to get custody of, the stakes become emotional rather than just romantic. It’s one thing to fall for a guy; it’s another to fall for his entire chaotic, lovable world.

-A gentle yet powerful love story about found family, healing, and a hero who falls hard when he least expects it. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Ace and Millie’s fake marriage starts as a simple arrangement but slowly turns into something deeply heartfelt. The custody battle, protective instincts, and growing bond with his siblings give the romance real emotional weight.

This book stole my heart. Ace needs a fake engagement in order to gain custody of his siblings. Millie happens to break down and needs help fixing her van so she can make her bakery deliveries. Seems like a win win for both of them. But when she walks into his house, things change and suddenly it feels like everything is coming together. This really grabbed me in the best way. I loved the fact that she was willing to help him and they clicked so well. Just an all around awesome family.

Millie and Ace’s story has them coming together for his younger siblings. Her van breaks down and she needs somewhere to lay low. He asks her to fake marry him to keep Emery and Asher. But she bring warmth and doesn’t try to take anyone’s place and that earns her a place in the house. The love between them is sweet to see and to see Ace fall was swoon worthy.

That was unexpected- amazing short read - beautiful MC instalove romance to enjoy in one go. Ace needed proof of stability of his home and his family before court hearing. And Millie was pure stability.
Everything other just came as bonus.
It was sweet and heartwarming- not what you really expected from MC romance.
Wonderful characters and beautiful love story.

A wonderful, heartfelt and beautiful story.
What made this book truly special for me wasn’t the connection, nor the relationship between the MC’s, it was the family.
Their happiness, their future, the warmth, the love, the tension to their happy ever after made this book.

Millie and Ace
Ace needs someone to help him prove that he is a solid committed guardian to his two siblings. Millie needs to have her van fixed, now. So they make an agreement, they will be in a fake relationship until the custody case is over and he will fix her van.
But we all know how that turns out. fake becomes real.

Helping Each Other
He needs to be engaged, she needs a shield so they agree to help each other. Proximity works it’s magic and feelings develop. Just like that it all changes. I loved this book and the ending warmed my heart.

cute short read
The only thing about this series is that it sounds very AI, the grammar and cadence don’t sound like a person wrote the novella, but it could just be bad editing.
