Five stars seems like not enough for All That we are! I loved book one in the series and didn't know if I would like this one as much.... I was so wrong! I am freaking obsessed with this! The emotions in this book were amazing. I was just glued to every single page.

This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading book one first! Overall, I'd definitely read this book again, and I would recommend this book for fans of other romance books. I can't wait to see what Elicia writes next!

After absolutely falling in love with All That You Are, I had incredibly high expectations for this much-anticipated sequel—and Elicia Roper has completely blown me away with All That We Are. Returning to Athena and Caiden's world felt like coming home, yet this book takes their journey to a whole new, profoundly emotional level.
What makes this sequel so magnificent is its raw honesty. While their bond is stronger than ever, Roper doesn't shy away from the realistic complexities of life after the "happily ever after." As the echoes of past trauma and fear begin to creep back in, we watch Athena and Caiden face the ultimate question: How do you love someone with your whole heart without losing yourself in the process? Here is why this contemporary romance completely stole my heart:
The Ultimate "Cinnamon-Roll" Romance: Caiden remains the absolute standard for a thoughtful, supportive hero, and his dynamic with our book-loving heroine, Athena, is pure magic. Their relationship is the epitome of wholesome, filled with adorable, heartwarming moments that had me kicking my feet.
I am so deeply grateful for how beautifully and sensitively Roper handles the themes of healing, anxiety, and mental health. It is refreshing, deeply moving, and handled with a level of care that will mean the world to anyone who has ever fought their own internal battles.
As an extra special touch, the book comes with a stunning curated playlist. I actually listened to it while reading, and it elevated the entire experience into something incredibly immersive. The music captures the exact atmospheric rise and fall of Athena and Caiden’s emotional highs and lows. Beyond the central romance, the entertaining family dynamics and the focus on heartwarming friendships and found family give the story so much warmth and texture.
It’s such a beautiful read!

All That We Are by Elicia Roper is the kind of book that holds you gently and does not let go. A bookish heroine, a soft and emotionally open hero who loves to cook and bake, mental health and therapy rep that is handled with real care, found family feels, and a happily ever after that you will absolutely feel in your chest. No spice, just swoony hugs, kisses, and two people who are genuinely good for each other. This one is hopeful and heartwarming and emotional in all the right ways and it is exactly the kind of romance the world needs more of. 💜
Thank you to the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book is beautifully introspective. It is a very character driven story that explores mental health, healing, and forgiveness. It feels raw and personal, with a strong focus on emotional growth. The pacing is gentle, but it really allows the characters and their journeys to shine. I especially appreciated its honest portrayal of healing as something messy and non-linear. Would recommend 💗

Elicia Roper has done it again with All That We Are! I was very fortunate to get a spot on her Street Team, as well as getting the opportunity to read this amazing work early! All That We Are is perfect for readers who enjoy the "he falls first/harder" dynamic during the second-chance phase and who don't mind a bit of a tear-jerker.

well what Do i need to write, when you are feeling low this is the best book to read, as it gives you some hope and that there is a spark in the dark and you will find some comfort in it, this book has made me laugh, fall in love, feel cozy and even cry, and it is for sure has taught me how to be good with people and ba patient with them and accept my own feelings as well and don't fight them a lot, so for sure it was perfect to end the year with so perfect..

well this book takes us to the next few month of athena and cadien and how they both fights with their trauma and how they are trying to get over them by standing next to each other and really fight together and how they were patient when the other were suffering and they needed to give them space, just perfect...

but note can I fight the author of how she left the book with a clif hanger on a great scene that i needed to next book right now..

These main characters have become my best friends.

Caiden is such a kindhearted soul, empathetic, and the perfect book boyfriend. He’s everything you hoped for in a male character and more. His love for Athena shines through in everything he does, and he faces challenges hopefully and head-on.

Athena is a sensitive, loving, and honest character. She faces personal challenges with grace, compassion and resiliency. My favourite parts of this book were her moments with Caiden and Violet (her best friend).

As Caiden battles with some health problems, we see his vulnerability and the comfort he finds in his relationship with Athena. Elicia writes these scenes with sensitivity, recognizing readers who find themselves in a caretaker role. As a caretaker myself, I found myself in the pages of this book and felt less alone in my role.
