Exploration
Ivor is under arrest, but he is not taken to jail as planned. He’ll have to decide how to deal with this particular annoyance. When he does, he’ll uncover corruption within the city guard, and his deeds will win the respect of the Prince of Inyalquas. The Prince is part of the ruling family of Unae, the kingdom where Aza and Esqin live.
Aza and Quanzul give Ivor coordinates from an ancient tome to travel to a world unknown. A plague had decimated this once thriving world, eradicated mana, all things magical, and nearly every person. Instead of a finding a dead world, Ivor discovers a species of underground dwellers barely holding on.
Upon returning to Menevris with news of a new world, Ivor’s deeds garner the attention of the King of Unae, who enlists him in a quest to investigate the disappearance of some of the Unae citizens. Exceptional Writing and Characters!
This series has been phenomenal! This author weaves the reader through an incredible story as the main character touches on many lives with a quiet honor and dignity! The action and world building are captivating as you immerse yourself into your minds eye!

fun
But a bit predictable.
I enjoyed reading it, however I would *not* hold this up as a paragon of the genre. It can be pedantic, and there isn’t a whole lot of in depth foreshadowing.

this series is just fun. an op main character with a solid moral core. has a bit of an anime feel but overall just a good time.

logical MC, no nonsense good world building.
I really enjoy this series. It reminds me a little bit of system universe. The character is no nonsense, an ex CIA. contractor with a heart of gold. I’ll treat you like you treat me. That’s his catchphrase. Smart, intelligent, not angst ridden. you gotta love this character. He’s OP but can still occasionally get beat up. The story takes you all over the place from different worlds and different situations like I said gotta love this guy and gotta love this story. Not too keen on the direction of the next book, but I will eventually read it when it comes out no spoilers. Like I said, if you like system universe, defiance of the fall, he who fights with monsters you will like this story.

LitRPG with a likeable hero who while continuing to increase levels does so with grace and charm.
As this is the third book in the series, Ivor (the main protagonist) continues to build his home world while this episode focuses more on his adventures with his trading partners.
New worlds, skills and monsters with ongoing political matters to deal with make this a five rather than four star book.

Another fantastic book
I like the pacing and character development. I hate when the MC has random wild deviations in behavior, especially when older, and this MC is consistent. The world building is top notch as is the story. Definitely a series you can read multiple times. And to top it off the cover art not only relates to the story but is fantastic as well. Kudos to both the author and artist on excellent work. Highly recommended.

Poor, this guy writes dialogue like I do, stilted and simplistic. The books are not polished at all, lots of words errors, poor usage, and again the dialogue is heavy and wooden. And I’m really not liking our intrepid explorer character. He’s bland, forgettable, and really the premise is just so over the top it’s a shame this is where it lands. Top CIA murderer for hire! Super strong with all the bells and whistles, ends up boring and just so cardboard. Just like his books. I plowed through 2.5? Of these and that’s enough.

I don't mind an OP protagonist. This episode took advantage of the usual OP tropes; MC underestimated by all, aristocrats and bullies humbled, helpless puppies rescued from certain doom. It's all good.
Toward the end, Ivor takes on a second identity for good reasons... but then maintains that separation when it makes no sense, even to the author. This results in a farcical award ceremony where one of Ivor's identities is publicly recognised/rewarded, despite his alter-ego doing the heavy lifting. It's just messy, add nothing to the reader's enjoyment and eventually peters-out. Re-write please, Brad.
The next book seems like it will nerf Ivor and send him into some sort of school for training/testing. I doubt he will lose his natural abilities — those gained via a lifetime as a covert agent. I'm keen to see how it unfolds.

Gots damn
3 books in and still fluffing the MC. Its old. Its grating. Stop. The progression gets worse with every installment as the author seems to think bogging the MC down in minutiae is something the reader is clamoring for. Outside of a couple events the MC did nothing but hop from place to place talking to people and hearing people wax poetic about how cool he is...for literally the entire book.
He could have ran dungeons, ran others through dungeons, explored his abilities....nope go talk to the king or train someone's soldiers for the 30th time. Yeah lets do that. Whole planets to explore...naw man lets get in on the vague inner machinations of his new empire that are only ever broad swathed so you can't even really sink your teeth into that.
To top it all off, outside of the two broken dungeons, you're literally just told about stuff happening...take a step back and look at what you're creating. Its fine to buildup whatever you want to my guy but easily and thus is a very modest estimate but half of this book could have been deleted. I can't tell if humor was attempted at all but that would've been neat to have during the 30th over the top antagonist beat downs that are inserted in between every other action MC takes. You know despite MC being the strongest person in TEH UNIVERSE.

Book three
Well that was pretty well written in my opinion.
Couple of mistakes that I will post on Goodreads.
Some action and some political action.
While I'm not looking forward to the school legacy that will undoubtedly start off book four, I did enjoy the exploration of the lost planet and look forward to more of that and more dungeon experiences.
8/10 Excited to see what comes next.

While i liked the small exploration part of the book, i found the rest of the book flawed and naive. I found the loving, open hearted and egalitarian royal family contrived and didn't like that the author overly humanised the aliens. Aliens wouldn't know thatthe name "Bill Smith" screams that it is an alias but react that way.
By now, the power level of the mc got ridiculous and the constant rehashings of his past and deeds, not to mention the emphasis on his selflessness got tiresome. Moreover, now that he is the best, has the best equipment possible, a huge fortune and his antagonists utterly outclassed, there are no stakes or tension anymore..

As much as I enjoyed the first installment to the series, this third entry just felt like slop in comparison.
Much of what had been built, in regards to the system, laws, and universal truths, had seemed to be built with care and foresight. The world-building, originally, had potential. When the author had been giving readers explanations or descriptions of the laws in which the universe operated, rather than introduce conflicting systems or "dumb" ones, sometimes the author would simply claim ignorance via the means, such as from the character's "new" perspective, while still maintaining a sense of suspended disbelief. This might allow for more freedom for the author, as well as imparting a sense that we're learning how things work, too.
This latest entry had seemed to have taken little-to-no thought towards that previous care when introducing new, poorly-developed and, arguably, bad, elements. It's like, instead of caring about developing an interesting, well-thought story, characters, and various world-building elements, the author had switched gears - writing for the purpose of meeting word-count goals, or just to put something down on paper without the level of quality established with the initial installment.
Instead of the chef producing a delectable dish, prepared with, if not the finest, then tasteful ingredients, made with care and a passion for cooking, this was more comparable to an underfunded public school's cafeteria lunch.
I'd ask the chef to rediscover that passion for cooking before going back to the kitchen - for the art of the craft, if nothing else.

Ivor is written like John Wick and Jack Reacher rolled into one, walking in with zero actual vulnerability, tactical risk, or cost. Every authority figure is conveniently deferential, every bully gets straightened out on cue, and he is treated as a special snowflake in a system spanning millions of years. Outside of a couple of broken dungeons, half the plot is spent hopping around while authority figures wax poetic about how cool he is. The dialogue is wooden, the inner machinations of his empire are overly vague, and the constant overpower antagonist beat-downs render the setting devoid of genuine tension.
To top it off, the solution to this bloat at the end of Book 3 is a “soft reset loop”; stripping his stats and items to send him to a magic academy as a "youth with a Mage class". It is artificial friction designed to manufacture stakes, setting up cheap YA-style school drama instead of letting the MC consolidate earned power.
I gave the series three full books to display depth, tonal discipline, or meaningful consolidation. Instead of delivering an earned payoff, the author is setting up a four-year magic school treadmill arc.

An entertaining OP MC apocalypse system LITRPG book. The MC is massively over powered but the way the author writes the character makes it an entertaining read rather than just power creep over the top action. The MCs morals and actions make him an interesting protagonist.
There was a small amount of over-repetition, where the MC does something, then it gets described to another person who then relates it again to a third party. It felt a trifle redundant and over-explainy in a few places.
One thing that did annoy me slightly though, when Ivor and Zed talk internally the text is in italics which is fine but the descriptive text is also in italics which annoyed me. (For example: “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘡𝘦𝘥?” 𝘐𝘷𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘥. “𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘐𝘷𝘰𝘳,” 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘈𝘐 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥.")

Exploration surprisingly enough, didn't really have all that much exploration. I'm mildly irritated by that, I always am when a title doesn't match the content of the book, but for the most part, this was a well done book. There was some exploration, but when the whole title is exploration, I'd expect quite a bit more than we got in this one. Otherwise though, I enjoyed the book, and now I need to wait 5 days until the next one is published so I can continue reading all about this world and the main character's place in it. But, since the next one isn't really going to be about the world as a whole, there won't be a lot of progression, though character wise, it should be a load of fun to read, looking forward to it.

This is a well written and fast paced series. I enjoy the characters and the level of scenic development. However, I feel the author is recycling the story's tropes repeatedly. I have become numb to the number of times the MC has 'reluctantly' talked about his past, his age regression, and excessive stats. Then there is the arrogant or aggressive jerk trope. The novels are formulaic to a fault. So much so that the novel are extremely predictable.
The good news is that the story moves at such a fast pace that I did not have time get bored with the story yet.
I have completed the third book and give it a moderate to just under strong read recommendation. I think you will enjoy it.
To the author: Follow Zed's advice and challenge yourself.

smith, bill smith
Our polite and dignified special agent is back. There are so many pots/plots cooking that it feels rushed and everything is go and urgent even though there are no deadlines. Seems like we need a breather. I get the new Earth would be might is right and high levels would take advantage of lower but it doesn’t make sense in the wider universe as they would learn the hard way. In the universe we don’t see every higher level attacking everyone at a lower level. All I’m saying is everyone immediately attacking the lower level mc is past getting old. Looking for more adventure and less politics in the next books.

great job
The book is great at staying true to the character, showing off his previous experience as an agent both through telling and deeds. While there hasn’t been a true challenge to ivor throughout the series except the first few chapters, it still sucks you in as he faces political problems that would give other mcs migraines and handed them effortlessly through his 40+ year experiences toppling regimes.
Decent writing, great pacing, and a world building that is amazing. I think I appreciate the fact that the focus isn’t on earth, but rather his personal journey through exploring the wider universe. It’s a nice breath of air in the genre.

Loved the book, I like the fast pace of your story telling, it makes for a fun light read.
I myself, and I’m sure others, would appreciate if you created a placeholder spot for the next book in the series on Amazon. Many of us in the genre speed through these series and are often reading a dozen different series at once as the books come out. By adding the next book as an upcoming release, even if the release date isn’t accurate, it allows us to add it to our reading lists so we can make sure we come back to it when the next book releases.

Another crazy set of adventures for Ivor
Ivor has such a knack for getting into and out of trouble. Though, most of the time, the trouble is actually others' and he's helping them out. :)
I don't want to spoil anything and will just say his trend of visiting new locations, meeting new people, and fighting new, and sometimes really powerful, monsters continues.
I'm really looking forward to the next book as there will be a venue change such that he'll probably encounter challenges he hasn't needed to deal with for decades, if ever.

Cozy little adventure
The Mc never meets a fight he can't win. Everyone in his circle has only his best interest in mind. Honest rulers Honest merchants Honest employees Honest nice helpful Everyone even the AI. Unless they are a single use bully the world just loves this guy. It'd be a better story if he had real challenges close calls near misses or got tricked every once in a while. But it is a fun light cozy feel good kinda book with no real risk to anyone bu5 the bullies and that's ok to.

Very well written book.
I am enjoying this Series more each book. The Author has a very good writing style, he simply tells the story without having the MC doing stupid stuff to move the plot along, like so many bad writers today insist on doing. The only problem with the series is waiting for the next book to be written. I fully and highly endorse this series of books and highly encourage everyone to read this great series.
I am enjoying this Series more each book. The Author has a very good writing style, he simply tells the story without having the MC doing stupid stuff to move the plot along, like so many bad writers today insist on doing. Not as good as the first 2
Just my opinion but the writer did not really put much effort into this book. Kept explaining the same skills over and over. The character got a a way to hide his stats but he then went and told everyone about his stats.. Also explained about everything!! He was supposedly a dark cover agent but he outed himself so many times that it got redilicous to keep reading this book

Home run!! Dont miss out! Its out of this world!!
Love this book, cant wait for book five! Im off to read book 4. Love the story, theme and characters. Magic, other world travel, action, friends to be made with other species!! Dont miss out. Great writing, no angst, well at least not for me, must read. This series will go in my re-read srash. Wish I had the actual physical books, thats how much I liked.

OP MC righting wrongs!
Most OP MCs plateau but Igor started OP so for him running around exploring and adventuring is kind of business as usual. The only really jarring thing in this book was the MC naming his freehold Cymru. I suspect the Welsh folks in his world who actually lived in Wales pre-system might have been peeved. Other than that the system continues to be robust and interesting (what’ll he do with the dungeon seeds?) and I intend to keep following the series.

What the heck is with the willpower stat in this series? You can command anyone with less willpower than you and they have to follow your orders? Wouldn't that result in everyone dumping all their free points into willpower, because anyone with the bigger number just automatically wins unless they get surprise attacked?

Another great read!
The series so far has kept me interested and wanting more. You get to read about the new worlds and interactions with new people. The MC is OP but is still growing in ability. Also the MC is getting more of the life he wanted and couldn’t have before integration. Hope to see more of these worlds and MC for a long time to come.

Ivor continues building his empire and increasing his already ridiculous stats , at least the explanation for Ivors growth has been logical and consistent from book one , he is an interesting character thrown into interesting situations, looking forward to book four.

Awesome LITRPG
Exploration book 1-3 is awesome! Most books have someone that is learning to fight as they level, but our hero Ivor worked for 40 years contracting with the CIA before the system came, so the system put him through a special tutorial and grow he did in amazing ways! Great action and great story! You’ll love it!
