Rose Benson has been running since she was eighteen. Declared dead under WITSEC, she was further betrayed by the handler she trusted, who fathered her son. With enemies closing in and Poison, Non Cras MC's president, unknowingly in danger, Rose must finally come out of the shadows and join forces with the man she's been in love with since their cyber introduction.

Keys by Elise Gedicke absolutely wrecked me emotionally in the best way. Out of all the dangerous, morally gray, violent men that tend to exist in MC romance, there is something incredibly special about a quiet, brilliant, slightly chaotic tech genius who loves with absolute devotion once someone breaks through his walls. Keys may not be the loudest member of the club, but emotionally? This man burns just as fiercely as any of them.

What I loved most about this story was how deeply personal everything felt. The stakes aren’t just club business or external danger; they're emotional survival, trust, safety, and finally allowing yourself to stop running long enough to be loved properly. Rose and Keys both carry so much loneliness and trauma into this relationship, and watching them slowly become each other’s safe place honestly hit me hard.

Keys was easily my favorite part of the book. His neurodivergent-coded traits, hyperfocus, emotional intensity, and quieter way of loving made him feel incredibly authentic and different from a lot of typical MC heroes. He doesn’t need to dominate every room to feel dangerous. The moment someone threatens Rose or her child, you realize exactly how terrifying a brilliant man with resources, loyalty, and obsession can become. And honestly? The “burn the world down for her” energy was STRONG with this one.

But what really made him stand out emotionally was his softness underneath all of that. The way he loves feels consuming but careful at the same time, especially because Rose has spent so many years surviving betrayal, manipulation, fear, and instability. Their connection feels deeply emotional long before it becomes physical, which made every vulnerable moment between them feel earned.

And Rose… I adored her. She’s exhausted in the way only women who have spent years surviving can be. There’s this constant tension between wanting safety and not fully believing she deserves it or can trust it when it appears. Watching her slowly stop living in survival mode while still carrying the weight of everything she’s endured gave the romance so much emotional depth.

The found family aspect of this series really shines in this book too. Even with all the violence, danger, and darker subject matter surrounding the MC world, there’s this undeniable loyalty threaded through every interaction. These people protect their own with absolute brutality, and the emotional intensity of that loyalty makes the relationships feel larger than life without losing their emotional grounding.

This definitely leans darker emotionally because of the trauma themes, violence, corruption, and references to exploitation and addiction, so the trigger warnings are important here. But underneath all the darkness is a deeply emotional love story about finally finding someone who sees every damaged part of you and chooses you anyway.

Overall, this was emotional, intense, protective, and incredibly satisfying. Between the hacker hero energy, the fierce MC loyalty, the single mom storyline, the danger, the emotional vulnerability, and the absolutely devoted romance, this one completely pulled me in from start to finish.

As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

Keys is the ¨little brother¨/computer guru for his motorcycle club. While he’s great behind the scenes interacting with others has never been his forte. When he meets up with Rose/MV from the sister club associated with his he finally feels like he’s met someone who understands him, even though they’ve never met in person. Their relationship keeps building overtime until their real lives implode and virtual meetings are no longer enough.

This series just keeps getting better and better, with more twists and turns unfolding before my eyes. It is book 12 in the VDMC series (not including the novellas) with a cross-over of her Non-Cras MC characters as well. Those familiar with the series know that Keys is obviously intelligent (okay lets call a spade a spade and say genius), but they way he grew up he never really learned how to forge relationships, with family and friends, none the less girls. I love that he seemed to connect so perfectly with Rose and through their visual relationship learn how to be the man he always wanted to be. I’m not just talking physically, although he definitely made some life changes that way, but to be involved with others, not just living on the periphery.

Rose has also faced challenges. Her strict upbringing lead to rebellion that spiraled out of control while she was still so young, forcing her to make some drastic decisions. She’s slowly grown, emotionally and her self taught computer knowledge, has lead to a ¨new¨ family through her MC brethren. While she’s also been on the outskirts of her crew, this was by necessity, but her life on the run has taught her more than she ever expected. She’s blossomed as the book progresses, learning along the way how to be the best friend/sister/mom she can be.

These two are so similar yet different making for the perfect complement of each other. In true style by this author their romance is no simple matter as there are many twists and turns throughout the book. It’s a definite slow burn romance, but still incorporates a bit of steam (although more than 60% into the story), lots of humor (I mean the self care scene and the little ¨kits¨that Keys made had me cackling away), and a whole bunch of intrigue with some new characters that I’m dying to learn more about. I love that you really see how Keys grows in this book, becoming one with himself (¨we can’t change the past Rose. All we can do is live for the now in the hopes of building a better future¨) and as part of a partnership with Rose (¨strengthen our relationship, learn who we are beyond the computer screens we’ve been hiding behind¨) and with his ¨brothers.¨ The way Keys supports Rose, even from afar and is ready to burn everything down to support her is book boyfriend gold.

Those familiar with the series will see many familiar faces and get further insight into previous story lines, but you can easily follow along if you are new to the series as the author seamlessly recaps past events as she shows how all the previous events have been building up to this one. I can’t wait for the next book.

After reading the previous books in this series, I have been waiting to read all about Keys. He is a genius with a painful past and a dysfunctional biological family. A stint in Naval intelligence left him disillusioned and frustrated, then the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club took him under their wing. He was just nineteen and the club has become his surrogate family. He is now the tech and security guru for the club. The safety and protection of the club and those they care for is the top priority for Keys. The troubles and attacks the club has endured during the last couple of years has made it even more important and challenging.

The club treats him as the nerdy kid brother, who is under their protection and guidance. He is the one they have to keep an eye on because he gets so wrapped up in his work, he forgets to eat and take care of himself. Keys often feels that he is the but of the joke or tolerated because of his skills. Keys is envious of his club brothers who have found partners for themselves. He has no experience with the ladies and becomes a bumbling mess just trying to talk to woman, unless she is one of the club’s women who also treat him as a younger brother. There is one woman who has caught his interest, a fellow tech wiz with a connection to the Non Cras MC. The Clubs work together to hunt and take care of those who abuse and traffick women and children. The woman, MV, peaks his curiosity and gradually becomes his obsession and makes him want to be a better man.

Keys makes it his business to know everything about her and discovers startling secrets that she begs him to keep to himself. He has never met her in person, but Keys has fallen for MV whom he now calls by her real name, Rose. He is aware that she is running, constantly on the move, from a past she doesn’t want him to know about. Keys is now determined to offer Rose a safe haven and makes extensive preparations to do just that. When she suddenly pulls away and tries to hide, Keys won’t let Rose disappear. Together they make plans to finally eliminate her need to run. Then their world, and that of the clubs they consider to be family, implode. Hearts, loyalties and bonds are tested, but when the smoke clears and the chaos dissipates, Keys and Rose have claimed each other and they have two clubs that not only have their backs, but consider them to an integral part of the family.

This story is dark and twisty, with some unexpectedly tender moments, as well as moments that make me laugh out loud. The inclusion of so many of the characters that I have enjoyed from previous books written by this author just makes this book even more riveting. This book has my full recommendation.

After waiting so long for Keys' story, I can confidently say it was worth it.

What makes this book stand out is that, despite all the danger, suspense, and MC drama, the heart of the story is deeply emotional. This isn't just about external threats or club business—it's about trust, healing, belonging, and finding the courage to stop surviving and start living.

Keys completely stole my heart. He's very different from the typical MC hero, and that's exactly why I loved him. Quiet, brilliant, awkward at times, and endlessly devoted, he's the kind of character who doesn't need to be the loudest person in the room to leave a lasting impression. His loyalty, determination, and unwavering support made him incredibly easy to root for.

Rose was equally compelling. After everything she's been through, her caution and reluctance to trust felt completely understandable. Watching her slowly lower her guard and allow herself to hope for something more was one of the most rewarding aspects of the story. Her journey felt authentic and emotional without ever becoming overly dramatic.

One of my favorite things about this book was how the relationship developed. The connection between Keys and Rose felt genuine, built on understanding and trust long before romance entered the picture. Because of that, every emotional milestone felt earned, making their story all the more satisfying.

As always with this series, the found-family element was outstanding. The bond between the club members remains one of the strongest aspects of the world Elise Gedicke has created. The loyalty, support, and sense of belonging woven throughout the story add so much depth and warmth, even during the darker moments.

The plot kept me fully engaged from beginning to end, balancing suspense, emotion, and character growth beautifully. There were twists I didn't see coming, moments that made me smile, and several scenes that hit surprisingly hard emotionally.

Overall, this was a heartfelt, emotional, and incredibly satisfying addition to the series. If you've been waiting for Keys' story, it absolutely delivers.

This has been one of my most anticipated reads and Elise did not fail me!!
I wish I could rate this higher!! The crossover of all crossovers! It was executed so perfectly and interwoven with storylines from other books across multiple series that if you had read those books, it enhances your enjoyment and understanding of those moments in those books. At the same time, if you hadn’t read the books, you’re not going to be completely lost. I will recommend reading the other books as it will give you more insight and context/clarity for the most enjoyable read.
Keys and Rose are perfection for one another and it’s obvious from the start. He definitely falls first and falls harder. Rose gets there, but she is much more cautious and afraid to have all the feels, which is understandable for her.
It’s a slow burn, but it make sense and is so satisfying to watch the relationship grow and develop before they get to that step and it fits with the characters and you’re so consumed by the story with the suspense, twists, turns, humour, character development that the steamy bits are a wonderful bonus when they get there.
Keys has a special place in my heart and I’m so happy with his story. There were some surprises that I didn’t expect at all and the ending!!! Whoa. Mind blown and I’m so anxious and excited to see what happens and where Elise is going to take us next!!
This is a MC, computer hacker, single mom in hiding, virgin MMC, found family, second chances, what’s going to happen next with a HEA that leaves you wanting so much more even though we were given almost everything!!
Elise is 100% a must read author for me each and every time. Every book gets better and better.

Keys and Rose finally get their happily ever after. I've been waiting for this book to come out, and it totally lived up to all my expectations. This is definitely not a standalone read.

Keys is the little brother of the VDMC, and he accepted that role until he started talking with Rose (MV or Glitch). Rose is actually the sister of Poison, the president of Non Cras MC, an all-female club. But Poison thinks she's dead, and Rose just wants to be the Mystery Voice in her ear. I was so frustrated with Rose for that! But she's in hiding with her son for a good reason.

We get a lot more of Keys' story, and wow, what a dysfunctional family. He's starting his security business separate from the club, which really shows he's maturing. He keeps Rose a secret from the club, which, of course, they find out. That made me upset because I agreed with Ghost—Keys should've talked with his brothers so he could have that support.

This is an ongoing story, but some things do get answered: Rose and Poison reunite, Keys loses his virginity, and we find out he has an evil brother. Then, in typical Elise fashion, we're left with new questions. This book, like most of hers, just pulls you in and then leaves you hanging a bit, which I love. This book has all the classic VDMC markers.

Looking forward to Ranger. I hope he's okay.

As usual this book was wonderful. We got such an in depth look at not only Keys and Rose but we learned much more about Poison and Kitty. It always seemed like Keys felt out of step with the others in the club so for him to finally find not only his person in Rose, and by extension Oscar, but for him to finally feel like he has a place in the club and that they want and need him is really great.
Rose and Oscar have had to go through so much to finally find a place of safety and belonging with not only Keys but to have the chance to really develope a relationship with Poison makes this into a truly feel good HEA book. Of course they all have trials and tribulations they have to deal with. I mean it wouldn’t be a VDMC book if they didn’t. Keller popping up at the end is concerning but maybe that means he and Keys can at least clear the air.

Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club: Keys (Caspian) and Rose

Two computer nerd come together, and I loved their interactions. The text threads were amusing and gave such insight into who they were.

It delves into Keys’ history, getting to know his character and rounding him out from resident geek to bona fide club brother.

This story sucks you in from the start. A new threat arrives. Straight into action, betrayal, and secrets coming out. Loyalties are tested, and I loved seeing them come together and grow individually and as a couple.
A found family vibe, a dark one, but still a vibe. And despite the darkness, still some moments of levity to break it up.

A little confusing if you’ve joined the series late like me, but still very enjoyable. An overarching storyline, but a standalone couple.

I have not read the Non Cras books so I found the prologue a bit confusing and had to go back to the character list - maybe a diagram with names and road names would be better in the prologue. However, I continued as I love the VDMC and I love Keys. This book had so much going on as well as the love story between Keys and Rose. It kept me on the edge of my seat and then to drop in Key’s brother right at the end I was upset when I got to the end! Hopefully we will see more in the next book. I love all the characters in this book and Rose and Oscar are a great addition to the group. We only got a tiny bit of Scar and I always love to see him in the books.

Key is book 22 in the VDMC series and this story. Keys is the tech guy for the club. He is the silent and shy and only opens up to certain people, but I can do what I need to do to protect her.
Rose the single mom in hiding and has been in survival mode for a long time and when keys is there to help her. This book is second chance and of course everyone loves the found family aspects and not to mention the HEA that is going to make you want more and more. I do highly recommend you read the other books cause all the characters will make a long more scene.

Keys is book 12 in the Via Daemonia MC Crossover series. This one is Keys and Rose's story and it's quite an emotional read. Their journey is all about survival, found family and loyalty. Rose has been through so much and Keys is exactly what she needs. He makes her loved, proteected and worthy and she desperately needs all of it. There's a lot of topics and situations in their journey that may be sensitive to some readers so I advise checking the trigger warnings before you start reading this one. Definitely a must read!

Keys is book twelve of the VDMC Series.

Keys is our resident nerdy guy and I was super excited to read all about his story. It was as cute as I thought it would be. We finally see him come more out of his shell with all of his interactions with Rose. He has a protective and loving nature and I was glad we were able to delve more into that and see who he truly was behind the screen.

My favourite parts were where they were playing World Of Warcraft together. As someone who plays this game, I loved seeing it brought to the page.

Gobsmacked. Of note this part of a series so good read the one before. I just found this author months before and I instantly binged. This is the love story of two nerds that fall in love before they even exchange real names. However sometimes the family you were born into is not perfect. However all is not what it seems. Buckle your seat belts because this is a bumpy ride. Be ready for more time with not 1 but 2 motorcycle clubs. Elise does it again.

This crossover story delivers some major revelations. MV is on the run, and Key’s becomes the only person who can help her. We finally learn who MV really is and why she’s been hiding behind the voice all this time. Also this book not only dives into Key’s backstory, but ends up showing his rapid growth into a dependable brother and ally. And if this isn’t enough to tempt you to read…a new threat emerges, leaving you eager for the next story. Love this author and series!!!!

As a reader that has devoured this VDMC series, Keys' book was no exception. I was throroughly immersed into his and Rose's story and let me just say, none of it was as I expected. I love that the readers get this crossover book with the Non Cras MC which made for a richer storyline and plot.
