Number 3 finished, on with 4. A very good series

"MoonDust"

This is the third book in a series. It is advisable that you read these books in order. "MoonFall" is the first in the series, then "MoonFire." The series is well written and edited. The story of Noah and his friends as its revealed what has happened to their world after meteors struck the moon and earth, and how people have coped with the changes and its stress in different ways.
Noah, Molly and Lilly are now trying to survive after having to leave the town of Apollo. In a dystopian world where people should rely on each other for survival but generally don't. Trust is hard to cultivate especially when foes now must work together to build a better future.
Molly has made more enemies than friends in her life. That's even more evident when she and Lilly arrive at the Dionite camp that Noah is a part of. Lilly finds she's excepted readily by the tribe. Molly struggles because of her history of hunting and killing the Dionites while she was a lieutenant for Apollo. Noah too struggles with his loyalties, his love of Molly and trying to be the bridge between two cultures.
As Noah fights for answers about his past, he tries to find peace in his present while keeping a hopeful eye towards the future.
"MoonDust" does a great job of revealing how man tries to change but man's old nature gets into the way of finding a balance in the world. This book kept my interest and I felt vested in the characters. This in not a standalone book and it does in with an interesting cliffhanger. I recommend this book and the whole series.

Third entry in A.G. Wyatt's 'Moonfall' 4-book series, set pretty much straight after the events of the previous ( MoonFire), at the end of which Noah Brennan and a few of his compatriots were fleeing from the town of Apollo and the soon-to-be Draconian leaders.
As I've said in my last review of MoonFire, I almost feel that series could be compared to a Western: book 1 ( MoonFall) had Noah falling in with one section of society ('Cowboys'), whereas book 2 had him living with the others ('Indians').
Unlike those two, however, this book is roughly split in half: part of the time with the Dionites, and part of the time back in the town of Apollo, with each section of society having something Noah wants and (eventually) gets a hold of: something that, he feels, will lead to a better world ...
Next up: MoonRise!

Hell of a ride
Part 3 of Noah's adventure is awesome. Filled with heart pounding tension, nail biting suspense, and tear jerking sadness. Once again I'm left breathless by the time I reached the last page. Brilliant book! Going to hate to see this series end. AGW is amazing.

I actually enjoyed this more than book 2 in the 4-book series and have just started book 4 - MoonRise. The characters MoonDust continue to develop but sadly we say farewell to a few of them.

This book brings the group away from Apollo and on toward their mystery city place. Lots of action and twists and turns.
