I enjoyed the childhood memories of Rocky Point. Laughed at the remembered threats of being sent to the bad boys school if you didn't behave. The was surreal. Scary at times with it's twist and turns. The aha moments when new information came to light. Most especially the ending. I would suggest this book to everyone who grew up in Rhode Island.
What I expected when I went into it - pretty underdeveloped writing and a lot of editing errors (at least on Kindle), but worth the quick read for the hometown tale. I will say, the plot twists were unexpected and made for great anticipation while reading!
Not what I expected. I thought it was going to be a more historical writing not fiction. I felt it didn’t have a good flow from chapter to chapter. IMO quick read , decent plot twist
