Melissa currently lives outside Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with her family and their rescues—a cat and a beagle. The cat’s in charge.

Adrift is a thrilling continuation of the trilogy that keeps the momentum going from the very first page. Omar and Mariel’s mission is as gripping as ever, and alongside the high-stakes action, their deepening love story adds an emotional core that hooks the reader completely. The fast-paced narrative moves effortlessly, with each twist and turn in the unfolding plot keeping me on the edge of my seat. Melissa F. Miller masterfully balances suspense, romance, and adventure, making it impossible to put the book down. Eagerly awaiting the concluding story.

Adrift is the second book in the series that started with Embarked, featuring Omar and Marielle. I enjoyed Adrift that continued the story in Embarked, where the two of them worked together to gather information from a heavily guarded yacht at sea and retrieve sensitive data. Marielle and Omar’s cover was that of a couple in love. As their story continues in Adrift, the two agents find that they are starting to really care for each other.
As they journey through the southern area of France, they find obstacles on their path and work together to keep Hannah, their asset, safe and get the information they need from her. It’s an action-packed story that leads us into the upcoming third novella, Sheltered, which is due to be released soon.

In true Melissa F Miller style, novella Adrift begins charged with energy.   Main characters, Omar, Marielle and Hannah continue their escape from Hannah's boyfriend/captures.  The details in the storyline are so vivid, although the underlying threat of capture is in my mind, the beauty of the inn and the surrounding Parisian area is awe-inspiring.
As Omar and Marielle decide the best course of action to protect Hannah, and themselves, their bond also strengthens.   Balancing life and death, career, and relationship choices, the intensity, thrill and soul searching romance in this novella are intricately woven creating an exhilarating adventure from beginning to end.   Highly recommend!

Excitement continues when Omar and Marielle head towards the safe house with their information source. Unfortunately, everyone is after the source and Omar and Marielle find out that no one is safe. The safe house has been compromised, they are being tracked by unknowns and there is no where to go. Obviously, this job has become much more dangerous than they were lead to believe. Who can they trust? Another exciting installment in this saga ending, of course, with even more unknowns. Enjoyable mystery with lots of suspense.

This is a fast paced thriller that is the continuation of Omar and Marielle and their efforts to save Hanna and complete the job they were hired to do. Only every time they seem to find a place to hide and regroup, the bad guys find them. It is a twisty game of trying to stay ahead of the bad guys and figuring out who to trust. There will be a third novella when we see it all come together.

Part 2 of the current Trilogy. Eager to read part 3 (Sheltered) when it is released. As always, expect the unexpected even when you are sure you know what is next. A quick read yet oh so pleasurable read. The part about the old lady and her truck was just another gift in the midst of the tale.
Thanks to the author ( who never disappoints) for the advance reader copy.
Until the next part.

Had to stay up past midnight to finish. My favorite character drove a pickup truck. Marielle showed a lot of strength in this story. The information Hanna has mirrors similar issues with the current administration. Can't wait for the resolution in the final book!

This entire series is very well written and this book is at the very top of the list. I am really enjoying the growing relationship between Omar and Elle. The plotline is very scary to read especially in today's political climate.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series.

Marielle and Omar on a mission brings complications they may not be prepared for. International intrigue, on the fly life or death decisions, who to trust...all the things you would want in a good operative story. Can't wait for the next installment!

The surprises keep coming!

This is an easy read, yet is packed with danger, intrigue and unanticipated surprises. The characters are diverse, yet are perfectly suited, even temporary characters.

I can’t wait to read the next book coming out soon.

Part two of Omar and Marielle's story had the duo trying to protect their asset, Hannah. The safehouse was compromised, so they were forced to find new accommodations while figuring out their next steps.
I'm enjoying these stories and love the face-paced plot, the characters and the drama.
