As much as I truly enjoyed this book, I didn’t really get the whole tv show part of it. They were only filming for a weekend and it seemed really random. I didn’t however really enjoy the last half of the book and all the emotions that were showed throughout the book.

Darcy and Lizzy couldn’t be more different. He’s a wealthy businessman who values control and privacy, while she’s a romance author whose creativity and optimism often land her in chaotic situations. Throw them together on a reality TV matchmaking weekend, surround them with cameras, and it’s no surprise that their first impressions are… less than stellar.
What I loved most was that this wasn’t just another enemies-to-lovers romance built on misunderstandings. As the story unfolds, both characters are forced to confront the assumptions they’ve made—not only about each other but about themselves. Beneath Darcy’s polished, aloof exterior is a man carrying insecurities and quietly fighting for something bigger than himself. Lizzy’s cheerful personality hides her own fears about her career, self-worth, and how others perceive her.
Their chemistry grows naturally through shared experiences instead of grand romantic gestures. Whether they’re bickering over everyday tasks, surviving ridiculous reality-show challenges, or sharing quieter moments where their walls begin to crumble, every interaction feels like another brick removed from the barriers between them. The romance is a true slow burn, making every vulnerable conversation and stolen glance feel earned.
I also appreciated the exploration of authenticity in a world built around performance. The constant presence of cameras adds an extra layer of tension, reminding both characters that people often judge what they see on the surface. Watching them gradually stop performing and simply be themselves was one of the most rewarding parts of the story.
The humor is charming, the emotional moments land beautifully, and the nods to Pride and Prejudice are woven in without feeling forced. Add in lovable dogs, sharp dialogue, and plenty of swoony moments, and this becomes a romance that’s equal parts funny, heartfelt, and satisfying.

If you are looking for a fun rom-com with immaculate vibes and adorable animals, you need to pick up All for You ASAP! While this is the second book in the Amor Inn series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone without knowing the whole history of the first book. That said, reading the first one definitely helps you get the general vibe of the background characters and the setting!
This story brings us the ultimate Grumpy x Sunshine pairing with Darcy and Lizzy. Darcy is your classic wealthy, broody hero who secretly has an absolute heart of gold (especially when it comes to his brother and children.). Then there's Lizzy, a romance writer who absolutely LOVES love, but is currently suffering from a severe case of writer's block.
The two end up crossing paths at the Amor Inn for a pet-friendly singles event. While Darcy definitely makes a less-than-stellar first impression on Lizzy, their dogs completely hit it off! Trying to navigate a horrible "get to know you" experience and a cooking fail, the two just can't seem to get it right (cough cough Darcy) and continue to bicker. But just as our main couple starts realizing they might actually like each other, disaster strikes. Darcy’s brother and Lizzy’s sister (who have their own romance brewing) suffer a massive misunderstanding, creating major friction for our new potential couple.
Fortunately, fate steps in. Lizzy ends up tagging along with Tabitha (who you’ll remember and love from the first book!) to Darcy’s castle mansion. From there, love really starts to bloom—including a more than epic tree-climbing scene that I am still obsessed with As they spend more time together, they finally start to see the truth of their feelings. But can they overcome their own obstacles and the family drama to finally be together?

All For You was such a fun experience from start to finish. If you enjoy Jane Austen retellings but also love contemporary romance, this book blends the two beautifully while still feeling fresh and modern.
The grumpy x sunshine dynamic immediately pulled me in, and the enemies-to-lovers tension made the slow burn so satisfying. The banter between Darcy and Lizzie had just the right amount of wit and playful frustration, making every interaction entertaining to read.
I also loved that the story is told through dual POVs. Being inside both Darcy’s and Lizzie’s heads made the romance feel much more layered, and watching their relationship develop from both perspectives made the slow burn even more rewarding.
The setting deserves a special mention because the Cotswolds sounded absolutely dreamy. It created such a cozy atmosphere that I honestly wanted to book a trip there while reading. Small-town romances always have a special charm, and this one captured that feeling perfectly.
Another highlight was the supporting cast. Every character added something to the story, but Chef was easily one of my favourites. He completely stole every scene he was in and added so much personality to the book.
Although this is the second book in the Amor Inn series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone, which makes it easy to jump right into the story without feeling lost.
Overall, All For You is a warm, comforting, and genuinely fun romance. It has lovable characters, witty banter, a satisfying slow burn, and the kind of cozy small-town atmosphere that makes you want to curl up with a blanket and read for hours.

This time, Jody gives us a modern Pride and Prejudice retelling—and from Darcy’s very first entrance (yes, think that iconic arrival at the ball, but reimagined for a reality TV dating show), I was completely hooked. Somehow, she captured everything I love about the original while making it feel fresh, contemporary, and entirely her own. She even managed to weave in some of my favorite Pride and Prejudice quotes, which made me smile every single time.
The banter between Darcy and Lizzy was exactly what I wanted: witty, effortless, and full of chemistry. But what truly stole my heart was Darcy himself. The yearning. The pining. The way he falls so completely and hopelessly in love with Lizzy had me melting.

All for You is a cozy, feel-good romance with an opposites-attract dynamic, playful banter, and a slow burn that feels genuinely earned. Darcy and Lizzy complement each other beautifully, and I loved watching them move beyond their first impressions while confronting their own insecurities.
Although this is the second book in the Amor Inn series, it works perfectly well as a standalone. The reality TV setting, Cotswolds backdrop, lovable dogs, and subtle Pride and Prejudice inspiration make this an easy, comforting read.
My only criticism is that it occasionally leans a little too far into Hallmark movie or Dhar Mann territory. Some moments are predictable, and the story can be a little too sweet. That said, at just over 350 pages, it's the perfect palate cleanser, with a romance that feels deserved by the final page.
I haven't read the first book, but after finishing this one, I'll definitely be picking it up the next time I'm looking for another cozy romance.

Lizzy Bennet is a best-selling regency romance author with a serious case of writer's block, and the only reason she agreed to appear on the reality TV show was the hope that it would provide her with inspiration for her next book. Darcy Wainwright is a grumpy property developer with an image problem; the only reason he agreed to appear on the reality show was to help in his effort to raise money for a project aimed toward providing a place for less privileged kids. Unfortunately, Darcy is not subtle with his lack of enthusiasm for the weekend, and he manages to insult Lizzy on day one.
These are absolutely wonderful characters who vehemently deny that they are looking for love, and yet they are constantly thrown together and will sometimes admit, if only to themselves, that they actually like each other. Realistic characters with complex personalities and past relationships that make it difficult for them to trust the opposite sex. The characters are all well written and made me laugh out loud while the antics of their four-legged friends kept me in stitches. I recommend this fun and funny romantic comedy with some surprise twists in the plot and a happy ending to other readers.

This is the second book of the series and although I didn't read the first book I didn't feel like I was missing out on something. It is a connected standalone. After reading this book, I will definitely be going back and reading the first book! You have Darcy and Lizzy who are complete opposites from each other and it's a genuine slow burn romance. I love how the story unfolds and the characters have to understand more about themselves and their own insecurities before letting someone else in. And once they do, it's slow and meaningful. The added dogs, constant presence of cameras, banter, and tension just added to the story that had me smiling and turning the pages. Highly recommend this special romance. Absolutely love the relationship between Darcy and Lizzie. It's refreshing to see the main characters be so different but so similar. I love how authentic it is when they recognized and took ownership when they both misjudged each other (as well as other people). But the main thing that I LOVED in this book was Topaz LeStar. A small but amazing part of this book.
I also loved that they were able to connect back to the original characters organically, as well as bring in new characters. It's such a great read with good humor, balance and authenticity!
