Linh is a gripping story of revenge that will draw you in from the beginning till the very last page and keep you captivated by this story. I read this book immersively and couldn’t put it down.
A plan to drive a man into believing he’s imagining the love of his life lands them in a court room getting a divorce.
This story follows Cora who is seeking revenge. She’s got her plan in motion and her target? Deacon. Why she wants revenge? I can’t tell you that as I feel it would spoil the story. But her plan begins to fall into place and she barely has to do anything for it to fall into place actually it kind of falls into her lap with an opportunity. That opportunity is a marriage of convenience a fake relationship. Cora also must come face to face with the man she was in love with and no matter time than when you are signed up for a fake marriage.
Deacon has a strained relationship with his father and his father currently the CEO of the construction company is stepping down and his father also has been holding a secret for a year that Deacon will soon find out. His father and Vincent come up with a plan that for Deacon to become CEO and it to be backed by the board he needs to be married cue Cora.
But trust no one in this twisted story of betrayal, lies and revenge and a grab at power because those you think you can trust might be the ones stabbing you in your back to rip it all away from you.
I highly recommend reading Linh or listening to Linh if you are looking for a story of revenge, betrayal, lies and some trauma along the way that won’t let you go until that last page.

Wow, this was such an amazing book. This is about a girl named Cora who is a college student that lands an internship with a wealthy corporate business. All looks simple and normal, but soon you find out that she has ulterior motives. The CEO and his son are in her crosshairs. The son, Deacon was in love with her sister years ago. They ended up pregnant and Deacon’s father was having no part of her and the baby ruining his son’s life. When her sister was forced to have an abortion and then ended up dying shortly after, Cora later on in life decided to plan and ruin Deacon, his father and the entire Holt Enterprise for what they had done. This story will have you locked in.

purchased this book in a bundle. this book will have you absolutely hooked from page 1. the revenge factor and how the characters just captivate you. Melissa will have you feening to get to the next book. As an author Melissa knows how to draw you in and keep you in. check this book out!!

This is one of those stories that keeps you slightly off balance the entire time.. in a good way. Just when you think you have things figured out, something shifts and you’re questioning everything all over again.
The story follows Cora, who’s set on revenge, though the “why” unfolds slowly and keeps you guessing. The arranged marriage felt a little too convenient at first, but as the story goes on, it starts to make more sense.
Deacon’s side brings in family tension, power struggles, and secrets, and the dynamics between him, his father, and Vincent add to that feeling that no one is entirely trustworthy.
If you’re an audiobook listener, this one stands out, it was easy to follow, and engaging even at faster speeds. I listened at 2.5x and finished it in just a few hours.
For me, the ending sealed the deal, pulling everything together and earning that fourth star.
Overall, Linh is a twisty story packed with revenge and secrets. It’s not flawless, but it’s definitely engaging and if you like constantly questioning who to trust, this one will keep you hooked.

This was such a captivating read for me. I loved the bits of toxic masculinity sprinkled throughout because who doesn’t love a good jealous book boyfriend! I was cheering Cora on silently the whole time whilst also trying to figure out what exactly it was Deacon did to deserve her hatred. It wouldn’t have served the plot and ultimately would probably be messed up so I understand it not happening but I really wanted Cora and Deacon to be endgame at the beginning of their relationship. But as the tides turned that kinda fell off for me because of Deacon’s behaviors. But I still say they could have been so good together if Cora wasn’t sabotaging 🥲 It’s okay though, I hope she winds up with the security guy 😆 The way she wrapped up the other characters was genius and I can’t wait to read more of this little crew!

Loved this book from beginning to end, lots of drama, backstabbing, and tension. This book is a plot driven book that moves pretty fast paved. You for sure do not want to stop reading. It has a happy for now ending.

I love Cora!
Oh the revenge you feel losing someone you love to the acts of others eats you a live. And Cora, sweet Cora lived that pain dearly. But the her growth is strong in this book. Hell has no fury on a woman hurt. Such a great book!!

I am excited to see where Melissa takes this book in the next story. I bought this book just based on the cover! It is gorgeous in real life. But the story was equally good. There is ton of suspense and intrigue. It is lighter on the spice until the end of the book. I loved Cora, and her need to revenge is just what I like in a book. I can't wait to see what is up next for our backstabbing side characters!

Melissa Hampton masterfully wrote Linh which has you immediately questioning what happened to Cora in her past? She is determined to hurt the man who she blames for ruining her life.
Cora has a plan, and everything seems to be going her way. Luck is on her side as her target provides an easy in to start the ball rolling. Nothing will stop her from taking justice into her own hands. But… could she have been deceived all these years.
The characters were expertly created and provided the perfect amount of drama throughout the book. I felt sorry for Deacon and wanted him to find happiness. They say keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. This holds extremely true in this compelling novel. Looking forward to reading more from Melissa.

Linh is a perfect testament to what the need for revenge can do to a person. Cora devotes her entire life to getting revenge for her sister and mother, and it changes her into someone that she doesn't even recognize. I loved the characters in this book. Cora scared me a little, which is a nice change in a female main character. Deacon really pulled on my heartstrings, and even though I was supposed to dislike him at some points, I could never bring myself to. The book ended in a very satisfying way, and I can't wait to read more of Melissa's work!

Linh surprised me in the best way. Cora is such a complicated, angry, hurting character, and I found myself rooting for her even when she made choices that made me want to scream. Her dynamic with Deacon is intense and chaotic, and I couldn’t stop reading just to see how far things would go. The story is heavy and emotional, and the ending didn’t go exactly where I expected, but I was hooked the whole time. If you like dark romance with real grit and characters who feel a little broken, this one hits.

This story is an enticing one that keeps you wondering what’s true and what will be revealed next. The narrator is engaging and keeps the most drifting of minds focused on the story. Her voice is clear and easy to follow even when listening sped up. Between the story and narration, I was left wanting more audiobooks by this author.

Romantic suspense with a dual point of view. Melissa Hampton delivers a well written story of Cora and Deacon, both trying to recover from tragic losses at a young age. The plot seamlessly jumps from present to past, interconnecting thoughts and feelings leading up to a not so planned conclusion. 5⭐️ with 1 🌶️.

Such an amazing book with intrigue & suspense. You are left wondering why Cora is doing this, but feeling sympathetic towards both her & Deacon for the events of why. I can’t wait to read more from Melissa!

I loved this book SO MUCH that I listened to it twice in a row.. the story is phenomenal, and the narration is next level. It draws you in from the very first sentence and keeps you in a chokehold long after the last page. I’ve never read or listened to anything by this author/narrator before, but I can tell you I won’t be stopping anytime soon

The beginning was a bit slow for me, but once the story picked up, I flew through the rest. It became so fast-paced and engaging that I couldn’t put it down. Melissa is such a talented author—her storytelling always pulls me in. You won’t regret reading this book or any of her others!
