Just wow, I loved every moment in this story. It gave me a bit of a Twilight vibe mixed with Vampire Diaries. An extraordinary love between a vampire and a human. The story's structure is very well put together; you also get to know the main characters better as the story progresses. Danger mixed with love and some humor is very well balanced. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more from this author in the future. So, do you like vampire romance? Then I definitely recommend this one

Kiss of Death by Georgia Ann.

Kiss of Death was not at all what I was expecting. I found this book to be such a fun book and honestly it was just a laugh out loud book. The banter between Samantha and Julius was on par, the spicy scenes were ‘cracked closed door’. And this is a bit different than normal open- or closed-door scenes. What I mean is that Samantha and Julius do get down and dirty, but we get to see just enough to get the point across.

Samantha: has this extremely rare blood that’s irresistible to vampires. She’s managed for years to survive, never allowing herself to be caught outside at night. Samantha is one of those rare characters who is refreshingly grounded; she feels real flaws and all.

Samantha never allows herself to be treated like a victim. She’s so perfectly written with her flaws, yet her flaws aren’t something that make her character seem unlovable or intolerable.

Julius: he is Damian’s younger brother. He is also elegant, handsome, dangerous, utterly ruthless, and a very powerful vampire.

Julius blackmails Samantha to get what he wants and forces her into an agreement. At the same time though he opens doors to Samantha that she had never dreamed would open to her, together they enjoy places and experiences beyond any of Samantha’s wildest dreams. And Julius ensures that Samantha feels loved, cherished, protected in every way that she could never imagine possible.

Damian: He is Julius’s older brother. He manages to add the perfect amount of mischief and heart to this enjoyable story. And at the same time, he’s this sneaky, devious man who manages to display nothing but the utmost levels of compassion – he manages to flip to understanding and respectful as soon as he gains the information he wants and desires from Julius.

The storyline, the plot, the sub-plot all flowed beautifully together. I didn’t find at anytime did the story start to drag or the scenes feel like they were just going on and on for no reason. I was enthralled with this book from the beginning to the end and I found that I was easily able to read this in just a few hours. I really didn’t want to put it down as it was just that good. This was a brilliant slow-burn enemies-to-lovers where he falls first and you can tell that he would unalive anyone who touched her.

Through the entire book I found myself rooting for Samantha and Julius. Samantha had this burning need for Julius to prove to her that not all vampires are evil and that Samantha could actually trust him with her life, and Julius needed Samantha to show him that love was truly worth taking a risk on.

This is one of those books that you have to read for yourself. I can honestly say that Kiss of Death left me wanting more of this couple and I can only hope and pray that Georgia Ann gives us a 2nd part to this stunning book. Maybe she’ll write Julius’s older brother Damian’s story and continue Julius and Samantha’s story that way.

All I can say is I highly recommend this book, you’ll definitely enjoy it and it’s one you’re not going to regret picking up.

Note: I did receive this book as a free ARC from the author in exchange for a truthful review!

This was a fun, very readable dark vampire romance that leans hard into the “terrifying predator but make it horny” trope, and it works!

The setup is strong: Samantha is basically vampire catnip, which is about as convenient and dangerous as it sounds. When the extremely powerful, extremely arrogant vampire Julius claims her as his personal blood source, the story settles into a tense push-pull dynamic between fear, dependence, and reluctant attraction. Julius is the best of what you expect from this genre: dangerous, possessive, morally questionable, but charismatic enough that you understand why the story revolves around him.

What I liked most was the tension in the feeding scenes. The author does a good job balancing the horror of being prey with the strangely intimate vibe vampire stories thrive on. When it works, it really works: those scenes have weight and atmosphere instead of feeling like copypasta dark paranormal romance. The turning point of the novel is one of the strongest moments in the book because it shatters the fragile trust the two leads have built. Samantha’s reaction is believable, and the fallout forces Julius to confront the fact that protecting someone means more than just claiming them.

Samantha is also more stubborn than the typical “kidnapped by a vampire” heroine, which helps a lot. She pushes back, argues, and calls Julius on his nonsense. Their dialogue is often the most entertaining part of the book.

The character chemistry and tension carry the story. The dialogue is often funny, Samantha’s stubbornness keeps the dynamic interesting, and Julius walks the line between dangerous and devoted in a way that fits the genre. By the final act, the tone is very different from where the book began. What started as a coercive survival deal evolves into a relationship both characters actively choose. The payoff is surprisingly sweet given how dark the premise is.

That said, it’s not perfect. The pacing can feel uneven, and the dynamic occasionally drifts into repetitive territory, like Julius intimidates, Samantha resists, rinse and repeat. Some emotional shifts also happen a little quickly considering the stakes. And while Julius is compelling, he’s also very much a type, so if you’re tired of the smug, hyper-dominant vampire archetype, he might test your patience.

Overall though, if you’re in the mood for a dark paranormal romance with a dangerous vampire, lots of feeding tension, and a heroine who at least tries to fight back, this is an enjoyable read. It’s solidly entertaining and easy to get through in a few sittings.

Verdict: dark, tropey vampire romance done well: messy, dramatic, and pretty addictive.

Bite Me: High Tension, Sharp Wit, and a Family to Root For

This book was a breath of fresh air. After a string of lackluster reads this month, this was a solid 4-star (B+) win. I didn’t think a vampire romance could actually make me giggle, but here we are—I’d pick up another book by this author in a heartbeat.

This is a fast-paced, dark vampire romance that leans hard into the "terrifying predator, but make it horny" trope, and it absolutely works. What I loved most was the tension in the feeding scenes; the author perfectly balances the horror of being prey with the strange intimacy that makes the best vampire stories thrive. These moments have genuine weight and atmosphere rather than feeling like paranormal romance "copypasta."

The turning point is one of the strongest beats in the novel because it completely shatters the fragile trust between the leads. Samantha’s reaction feels grounded and believable, forcing Julius to realize that protecting someone involves more than just "claiming" them.

What really rounded out the story for me was Samantha’s family. I absolutely loved her nephew, Alfie; I'm a sucker for a great kid character, and he was such a highlight. Seeing that side of her life made the stakes feel much higher. Samantha herself is far more stubborn than your typical heroine—she pushes back, argues, and calls Julius out on his nonsense. Their dialogue is witty, charming, and easily the most entertaining part of the story.

That said, it isn't without its flaws. The pacing feels uneven at times, and the dynamic occasionally drifts into a repetitive cycle of Julius intimidating and Samantha resisting. Some emotional shifts also happen a bit too quickly given the stakes. Plus, if you’re tired of the "smug, hyper-dominant" vampire archetype, Julius might test your patience.

Overall: If you want a dark romance with a dangerous lead, high-tension feeding scenes, and a heroine with a backbone, this is a fantastic choice. It’s a quick, quirky, spicy read that I managed to fly through in a single sitting. A great introduction to this author, and I am already crossing my fingers that Julius’s brother gets his own book next!

Kiss of Death was my first dark vampire romance in a while. I enjoyed the plot of the story. It has a nice little world building to it, with he vampires in their world. But then there is also Julius, who is special and can also walk among the people in the daytime as well.
Samantha's blood is like a drug. The taste of it seems to be rare and attracts all the vampires to her. But after she nearly made it out of her las attack alive, she tries to take precautions about having to be out after dark. Too bad her boss doesn't really care because he gives her the closing shifts sometimes. This time though, she bumps into Julius, a tall handsome, strong looking vampire. She's scared and wants to run, but he lets her know that if she does, he will chase! Then he makes her an offer she literally can not refuse. Because a group of vampires are about to approach her and he says he will protect her from them, indefinitely as long as she agree to become his. Not really knowing what that means, she agrees because her alternative is to face death. But now that she is saved, she learns that this means she will have to allow him to feed from her once a week. He promises that he will take care of her and keep her safe in exchange, but it all blows up in his face when he goes too long between feedings and nearly kills her. Now he has to rebuild her trust with their evolving relationship and her entering into his dark and dangerous world.
This story was easy to read and kept you hooked. I loved the connection between Julius and Samantha. Though she was scared of him, she was still mouthy and brave, and stood up to him when she needed to.
If you're looking to fly through a quick vampire story, I recommend giving this one a read.

A solid paranormal dark romance read that blends emotion and tension well while keeping up a strong pace.

📚 Reading Format & Length
I read this book as an eBook and received it as an ARC from the author. No paid promotion, just my honest opinion.
A standalone dark vampire romance with 259 pages, perfect for readers who want an intense story without committing to a long series.

📝 Short Summary
Not every story needs to be epic or packed with deep character development to leave an impact. This book feels like a brief escape into another world, intense, captivating, and over far too quickly. Instead of getting lost in highly complex characters, the plot carries you effortlessly from page to page and makes it hard to put the book down.
That is exactly where its charm lies, the storytelling is clear and nothing feels overloaded. If you love vampire romances and want to immerse yourself in a dark story without expecting heavy emotional depth, this delivers exactly the kind of reading magic you are hoping for.

I'm so happy that I got to read this as an ARC.
I have always loved vampire stories. One never knows how those books are going to go. A vampire romance can mean many things. They can be over-the-top and cringe, or tasteful. This novel was an amazing love story between Julius and Samatha.
I love everything about this story. The characters, the plot, the execution of it all. It was perfect. The only thing is, I was left wanting more. I love both Julius and Samatha as characters. Damian was a great character. Each character was perfectly crafted, so even the side characters didn't just seem like throwaway pieces that were just sort of there in the background.
One thing I've noticed with a lot of vampire romance novels. The main female character is somehow always a bit extra or untolerable in some way or another. Yet Samatha was not a victim of this. She was perfectly written with her own flaws, but the flaws were not something that was used to make her a untolerable character. Though it helped to provide the story and provide a sense of growth for the character herself, and with her relationship with Julius.
There are several questions that I have that were never answered. Why is Samatha's blood like ambrosia in a sense for vampires? I want more of this world and these characters.

I started this book very curious about what the author was going to do, for I haven't really read any books where vampires are just normal in the world and humans accept their fates if they are out too late. I was also concerned that this would be a book where the main character had Stockholm syndrome and I would just be frustrated with all the choices she made because she somehow, quickly fell in love with the guy who has basically made her a captive.

I was pleasantly surprised when that wasn't the case, I liked how you can slowly see the character building, making the reader understand how there was a change in their relationship and she didn't just flip a switch and like him, but there was an actual understanding of who he was and why he did what he did.

However, she must be the most unlucky girl I've ever read about, constantly being hurt or almost killed, to the point where it feels like she shouldn't even be allowed to be by herself because she somehow gets into trouble.

This book also sped up towards the end, I think they meant for it to seem as if time was passing but it didn't really give off that vibe. It ended feeling rushed and unrealistic.

I did enjoy this book, and would recommend it, I just wish the ending felt more complete.

This is definitely a 5⭐️ read.

This was such a fun read! I found myself laughing throughout the book, the banter was on point, the spicy scenes were 'cracked closed door'. And what I mean by that is that they were full blown down and dirty, but just enough to get the point across. The plot was really good and flowed quite nicely. It did not drag the scenes on and on, which for me is a bonus. It kept me very intrested and i read it in just a few hours. To be honest, I didnt want to put it down. It was just THAT good! It was definitely a slow burn, enemies (but not really) to lovers, he falls first, touch her and ☠️.

I was routing for Samantha and Julius all through the book. She needed him to show her that not all vampires were bad and that she could trust him with her life, and he needed her to prove to him that love was worth taking a risk on.

I'm not going to give anything away on this book, because it just one of those stories that you have to experience for yourself. It left me wanting more and I hope there is a part 2 to this book… Maybe Damian's (Julius' older brother) story? with what happened AFTER with Samantha and Julius. Anyway, read it, you will most definitely enjoy it.

Thank you to Georgia Ann for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Kiss of Death is a dark vampire romance that brings together danger, passion, and supernatural intrigue. The story creates an atmospheric setting where tension and attraction intertwine as the characters navigate their complicated connection.

What stood out most to me was the dynamic between the characters. Their interactions carry a mix of curiosity, temptation, and emotional intensity that keeps the relationship engaging as the story unfolds.

The darker vampire elements add to the overall mood of the book, creating a sense of mystery and suspense throughout the narrative. These supernatural aspects help give the story an edge that fits well with the darker tone of the romance.

For me, this lands at 4 ⭐ because the story was immersive and entertaining, though there were a few moments where I would have liked to see certain scenes explored a little further.

This is a 4 ⭐ for me because:

• the darker vampire atmosphere adds intrigue

• the character chemistry creates strong tension

• the supernatural elements keep the story engaging

• the pacing keeps the story moving smoothly

Dark. Mysterious. Tempting.

Read this book if you like:

• vampire romance

• dark paranormal stories

• intense character dynamics

• supernatural romance with a darker edge

I haven’t read a vampire x human book in a while but man does it still hit the same! Julius and Samantha relationship was like a rollercoaster, you didn’t know if you wanted to keep going or get off immediately.😆 Their first meeting was definitely unconventional, since he was seeking his little dove and she was terrified out of her mind from past trauma. I loved that the ultimatum was either Sam chooses Julius against the other vampires or he took her no matter what. (Even though she didn’t know at the time lol) It was hard finding out that she was on the brink of death because he lost control. I think what really got to me, was the fact he didn’t tell her right away. That she had to find out way later in the story that he did that to her.

I really loved how they fell in love with each-other more over time, then overnight. It felt more natural and sincere. The fact the he was saying I love you to her in Greek before bed every night got to me.🥺 He knew from the beginning that he loved her and just fell harder as time went on. Even though he knew it was going to take some time for Samantha to feel the same way. Julius became selfless after Sam and him had to have that hard conversation about trust and consent. It truly showed that he was willing to do whatever to get Samantha trust back. Overall, it was a good read!! 🫶🏼

A dark vampire romance…or maybe the most unexpectedly sweet vampire romance I’ve read in a while. Because honestly? Kiss of Death by Georgia Ann completely stole my heart.

I loved every single word of this story. It was romantic, addictive, and just a little bit delicious. One minute I was laughing out loud at the banter, and the next my heart was melting over the quiet, tender moments between the characters.

What I loved most is that this story didn’t try to be overly complicated. At its core, it’s simply about the relationship between Samantha and Julius. Samantha is human…with blood that vampires find completely irresistible. Julius is powerful, dangerous, and devastatingly handsome. When he offers Samantha protection in exchange for becoming “his”, you expect something dark and intense…

…but what unfolds is actually a beautifully sweet journey between the two of them.

There aren’t wild plot twists or heavy tragedy driving the story. Instead, it’s all about watching their relationship grow – the tension, the trust, the slow unraveling of feelings that neither of them expected.

And Julius? Absolutely swoon-worthy.

Slow burn.
He falls first.
Protective vampire energy.
Soft moments that sneak up on you.

Definitely a 5 star read for me.

There is something quietly addictive about a story that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try to be anything more. Kiss of Death by Georgia Ann leans fully into its dark vampire romance roots and delivers a reading experience that feels like slipping into another world for just a moment… and not wanting to leave. This isn’t a sprawling, deeply layered epic, and honestly, that’s where its magic lives. The pacing is sharp, the storytelling is clean, and the plot pulls you forward with an effortless intensity that makes this an easy read.

The dynamic between Julius and Samantha carries a strong, dangerous energy that keeps the tension high without ever feeling overwhelming. The feeding scenes are charged, the chemistry is undeniable, and Samantha brings a backbone that balances the darker elements beautifully. If you’re craving a DARK, supernatural romance with a dominant vampire lead, high-tension moments, and a fast pace that drops you straight into the story, this absolutely delivers.

What lingers most is that quiet “I want more” feeling when you turn the final page. It’s the kind of story that ends too soon but sticks with you anyway. And the potential for Damian’s story? I am already invested.

Julius and Samantha’s story is an interesting one. The emotional rollercoaster ride was a long one: fear, hatred, pain, trust, anguish, betrayal, confusion, tentative trust, belonging, passion, love. The events that ignited each of those emotions kept me glued to the book. Samantha’s family is decidedly … more accommodating than Julius’ family. While she cannot meet his parents, she does meet his brother. When she first meets Julius’ brother, Damian, he is sneakily devious, while displaying the utmost levels of compassion—flipping to understanding and respectful once he garners more information from Julius.
Overall, I enjoyed Kiss of Death. It was a little slow to start for me, but I fell into it within a few chapters. Good, solid bones, with a few loose shingles 😉

Kiss of death - a pleasent read, but not very realistic even for a vampire book. The amount of times I rolled my eyes 👀. Even for an insta love trope , it didn't meet expectations of chemistry between MC's. I didn't believe it.
The author left a lot of things unsaid. Eg. A female character is introduced with the clear intention of later be used, but initial meet was 2 sentences and I was left with. "Ok, but where did that woman go?" "Why didn't they talk like more that 1 min?" There is little to no world building. An accident to create some tension between 2 characters and the good old fashioned 700 hundred years old vampire and the oh so special human. The market is sooo saturated with this trope that you need to write a darn good story around it to make it worth our time. And while this is a pleasent read, it's not something special.

Non consensual blood drinking, was it Stockholm sindrome in the end?

He speaks Greek all the time with her but we never "hear it" she tells us he said something and of course she doesn't know what. -madam , she can at least hear the words. Where are the words?

He is venomous but can choose when it takes affect. - not likely.... sorry but no.

Some things just felt like lazy writting.

This was an ARC read. Thanks for the opportunity.

Samantha's blood is extremely irresistible to vampires. Despite the care she has taken to avoid vampires, she is unfortunately caught one night and is forced to make a terrible decision to accept the powerful vampire Julius's protection to save her life. But the cost is that she becomes "his" and must feed him whenever he desires. As Samantha is drawn reluctantly into Julius's orbit, the lines between predator and prey blur. Can Samantha keep herself safe in a vampire world?

I loved this book. The characters are extremely realistic and engaging. Samantha is terrified of Julius and other vampires due to previous vampiric encounters, but she refuses to let him railroad her life. She does her best to stand up for herself, regardless of how little power she has, and she makes a real impact on Julius as a result. As the two grow more intimate, Julius has to enact real change and allow for real Samantha to give real consent.

A great paranormal romance that is surprisingly realistic and full of heart.

This is a thrilling, fast-paced vampire romance with just the right balance of dark intrigue, steamy passion, and emotional depth. Julius and Samantha’s story had me hooked from the first page—I loved their slow-building trust, the push and pull of their emotions, and the tension that kept me turning pages.

The characters are layered and memorable, even the side characters like Damian, who adds just the right mix of mischief and heart. Samantha is refreshingly grounded; she has flaws, but they feel real and earned, never over-the-top or frustrating. The romance is hot without overshadowing the story, and the emotional rollercoaster—from fear and betrayal to belonging and love—was perfectly executed.

The world-building leaves room for more exploration, and I found myself wanting deeper answers about why Samantha’s blood is so irresistible and more about the vampire society. While it’s a quick read, it delivers full-bodied tension, spice, and heart—perfect for anyone craving a dark, passionate supernatural escape. I can’t wait to see more of these characters and this world!

This one took me a little bit to get into, honestly it was around 30% before I really felt pulled into the story, but once things started unfolding between the characters I found myself much more invested.

The story centers around Samantha and Julius and their dynamic definitely leans into that dark, possessive vampire romance energy. Julius isn’t exactly the gentle type… he ends up blackmailing Samantha into an arrangement so he can feed from her, which immediately sets the tone for a story that’s dangerous, intense and morally gray.

Once the tension between them really kicked in, I started enjoying the push-and-pull between the two. There’s a lot of power imbalance, dark attraction and emotional conflict that keeps their interactions interesting.

The world also has crime elements mixed in with the vampire storyline, which adds another layer of danger and action to the plot.

Overall, this was a solid dark vampire romance for me. It took a bit to hook me, but once it did I was into it until the end!

I absolutely loved this book. It was such a breath of fresh air for this genre. I loved the showing of untrust and the moves it takes to earn it back. I also enjoyed breaking the stigma that all vampires are scary for no reason and could not be trusted. This book broke me out of my reading slump and I hope that there is more.

I think my biggest complaint is that it was hard to keep track of how much time past in the book, especially since they book was relatively short. Felt like it had only been a couple weeks but it seemed like every chapter had a time skip. I understand they you cannot fill everyday over longer courses but I was not able to keep track with how long it took from enemies to lovers so I was a little disappointed because it seemed to go really quickly. I loved their relationship though along with their banter! Everall I really enjoyed the book!!

This book is for the rader who like paranormal with a little darkness in it.

There happens a lot of things in the first half of the book, when we come to the second half it mellows out and is more of less fluffy filler chapters. The end is extends over a longer period, but it feels rushed.

I would have wished the book had follow one of the obstacles the FMC and MMC comes across, but gets dropped quickly. I think it could have made the second half of the book more interesting and would have for me gotten more stars.

Georgia Ann has an eye for putting humor into the book there was a lot of times I was laughing because what was said from the characters.

The grow of the characters is so perfect and you can really see how they try, fails then try a different way and it just make the characters so believable and relatable.

Quick, Easy, and Spicy!

Kiss of Death: A Dark Vampire Romance by Georgia Ann is a thrilling, fast-paced read that offers just the right balance of dark intrigue and steamy romance. The story pulls you in from the very first page, making it impossible to put down once you start. The characters are enticing and layered, with just the right amount of mystery to keep things interesting.

While it’s a quick read, the author doesn’t skimp on the tension and spice, delivering a story that’s both captivating and hot. It’s perfect for those who love dark romance with a side of passion. It may not be the deepest dive into the vampire genre, but it’s certainly an enjoyable escape for fans of the genre looking for something fun and easy to devour in a single sitting.

Definitely recommend for a little escape into the supernatural with a lot of heat!

Kiss of Death follows Samantha, whose deep fear of vampires is shaken to its core when she meets Julius — a man who turns her world upside down from their very first encounter.

This story takes you on an emotional journey of forbidden love, filled with tension, vulnerability, and moments that will have you completely invested. It’s an easy-to-read, slow-burn fantasy romance that gradually pulls you in and keeps you there.

I found it engaging and light-hearted in places, yet still layered with enough emotion to make me root for Julius and the connection developing between them.

While I would have loved to see a little more character development and perhaps a more dramatic ending, overall I thoroughly enjoyed Kiss of Death and found it to be an entertaining and heartfelt read.

I adore vampire lore, so I was excited to read this book. The complex relationship of Samantha (human) and Julius (vampire) is do well done. What starts off as a contractual agreement soon blossoms into a beautiful love story.

I was especially pleased when the author included hard times and fights into their relationship. The rocky road of redemption is not easily navigable, but I loved both of them sharing their hopes, fears, and insecurities with each other. Showcasing the perfectly imperfect and focusing on each other's mental health and psyche. Bravo to the author for including this.

4 stars for a very well written book. I would have rated it 5 stars, but the flow was a bit choppy at times.

I’m a lifelong fan of vampire novels, so I loved this book from the very first page, especially when Julius appears, both as a predator and, at the same time, as a savior. His character is wonderfully developed: complex, layered with emotional highs and lows, and full of insecurities and deeply human longings despite his age, his status in the vampire world, and all his power.

I really enjoyed the scenes where Samantha treated him as an equal and helped ground him in reality. And I have to give a special mention to little Alfie, so natural and uninhibited, with the innocence and carefree spirit that belong to childhood.

I would also love to read a story about Damian, the alluring vampire brother with his aphrodisiac bite.

This is a cute, quick read written in a young adult style. The pacing moves fast, making it an easy story to get through in one sitting. While I did enjoy the overall concept, I found that the character development was minimal, which made it harder to fully connect with the cast. There is also very little world-building, so the setting and background elements feel somewhat underdeveloped.

Overall, it’s a light, easy story that works well if you’re looking for something quick and simple, but readers who prefer deeper character arcs and richer world-building may find it lacking.

I love a possessive, cocky vampire that starts off as a bit of an asshole but softens and grows when he falls in love with a human so I enjoyed this book.

Samantha has never had time for relationships and has always hated vampires so, when she meets one obsessed with her, she is pure attitude and defiance, something Julius hasn't experienced before.

Julius is used to being feared and respected so, when he meets his match, thrives off their banter. They're a brilliant pairing that turns him from a controlling predator to an absolute softie.

This book is a standalone that's perfect for fans of enemies to lovers and captor/captive romantasies.

This was such a fun vampire read! I literally couldn't put this down once I started.

I absolutely love the way the relationship between Samantha (FMC) and Julius (MMC) is written. It starts off very rocky, but we experience what it's like to go through ups and downs in a relationship and still make it out alive (no pun intended).

The entire book really focuses more on their relationship than any other microtrope. Yes, there are spicy scenes as well as "touch her and die" but not enough to draw focus away from Samantha and Julius as a whole.

Overall, I recommend this book if you're interested in banter, vampires and adorable scenes with found family!

I really enjoyed this read. It was light and easy. I absolutely loved Julius and how he evolved over time, also his gentleness with Sammie once she was able to trust him and I took a lot for her to do so. I threw my hands up at some points because girl I get it but sheesh. I had a mix of emotions while reading this book. I laughed at some parts, surprised at others and teary eyed at others.

Who doesn't love a tall blond and handsome man with glowing golden eyes? Who also is respectful of your boundaries and you can take him home to your family. I wanna say thank you to the author who let me be a ARC for this book it was such a cute bloody love story With lots of charchter growth through out. I did have lots of questions about the female character and the attraction she brought around her and was kinda disapointed on never really getting the answers to that. Really my only complaint. I enjoyed the story. Thank you again for such a fun read

What an amazingly deep but fun book. I had so much fun reading this and I’m so glad things ended the way the did.

I absolutely loved Julius and Sam’s relationship and connection they built with each other. I would love to see another book exploring more of this world and some of the other characters introduced!

Also as a disclaimer, I received an ARC for free and this review is being left truthfully and voluntarily.
