Elle Mae’s long-awaited third Blood Royale novel cranks up the heat with sharper tension, wilder twists, and the intoxicating throuple who refuse to let each other go.
Vesper I didn’t know what was worse. Getting kidnapped by the vampire council or being forced to serve a random vampire family. No, wait, it was my bonded going off and getting married while I could do nothing about it. Cedar and Atlas may have gotten me out, but I’ll stop at nothing to save Aurelia from her doom.
Aurelia I can save myself. Once I deciphered what the seer was saying, I knew exactly what I had to do, the thing I was born for. It will save us all, so why can’t they understand? They know my heart and soul better than anyone else, but if they insist on trying to ruin my plans, I might just have to teach them a lesson or two.
Cedar Getting involved with them might be the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done. Being thrown between powerful vampire families and a bastard vampire heir was definitely not on my to-do list. But I couldn’t let them face it all alone. Maybe I would have been better off rotting in the coven, but they showed me a world I never thought was possible. I’ll bring us back to our happy little life together, even if it means getting my hands dirty.
I got to read this as an ARC and really enjoyed this third installment in the series. The spice is excellent. In this one we get to see Aurelia as so much more than a spoiled princess or someone needing saving and see her intelligence shine. No spoilers, but I need an Atlas spinoff NOW. I definitely shed a few tears, but so worth it.
Okay so I loved the first two books in this series, especially the first one. Give me a book with a vampire x vampire hunter romance and I’m THERE. The sequel brought in a third and I was here for the drama and the spice. However, it’s hard for me to love a book where the love interests are separated for a while, or fighting a lot for whatever reason (“I’m pushing you away to protect you” sorta thing just frustrates me) and we do get a good amount of that in the beginning. They would separate, then reunite, then hookup, then separate again, repeat… it was just a lot and after a while it felt unnecessary and drawn out.
Then a whole lot of random political events and bloody murders would happen, but I feel like this book could’ve been cut in half… it just took too long for the plot to finally unfold and for the conflict to resolve between characters for me, personally, to feel invested.
However, this is an Elle Mae book so the spice was always amazing and despite everything else I did care for the MCs and wanted them to be happy. We do get a nice HEA; they deserve each other after all of their different traumas and the craziness of this book lol.
Elle Mae / Eden Emory is an insta buy author for me and this series definitely did not disappoint!
Book 3 follows the trio as the go through an unwanted separation, a bond that continues to pull them back together, a new political marriage, a tyrannical king, an uprising and a plot twist to end all plot twists, with plenty of spicy times thrown in between.
I loved this series! The sheer obsession and passion between Vesper and Aurelia in book 1 really drew me in and I enjoyed reading how their relationship developed. I did however feel that the throuple element in book 2 came completely out of left field and it seemed to focus primarily on how Vesper wanted Cedar and Aurelia had no choice but to comply. Though that did change as the story developed further. I adore a Why Choose / Poly Romance book, so despite it being unexpected it was welcome addition. The relationship between the three came across as quite toxic in the beginning, but I was enamoured with how it strengthened over time. And the entire plot had me hooked from the beginning!
Book 3 was everything I needed and more to see this series come to a close. The plot was intriguing from page one, at first I was skeptical because there was another political marriage like in book 1, but I added so much more to the story. The character development throughout the entire series was insane and the overall arc of the narrative was mesmerising.
Honestly these books are some of the best dark vampire stories I have read and the final book of the trilogy is the perfect ending. Do yourself a favour and give them a read!
Must read if you LOVE: ✨Dark Vampire Romance ✨Why Choose / Poly ✨Vampire Hunter + Vampire Princess + Witch ✨Masc + Masc + Femme ✨Blood Bonding ✨Forced & Fake Political Marriages ✨Female Rage ✨Uprising ✨PLOT TWISTS! ✨Spicy Times!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND If you love a spicy FFF romance with chemistry that burns while it soothes, and a love that tests boundaries while asking no questions.
I couldn't wait for this book! I downloaded it the second it became available! And no surprise! Elle gifts us with yet another spicy sapphic romance masterpiece that will keep you flipping the pages!
I loved the chemistry and passion between Vesper, Aurelia, and Cedar. The relationship is very lusty but never feels forced or unrealistic. Actually, these three ladies have officially moved into my top favorite sapphic throuple pairings of all time
SPICE: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Lots of spice, but it doesn't take away or interfere with the plot or progress of the book. it just adds to it.
Boundless Vengeance will take you on an adventure with surprising twists that will bring you to a stomach turning punch in the gut ending that'll leave you feeling like an emotionally strung out string bean... (but in the BEST possible way)
Elle Mae, you've outdone yourself with this one! All the applause 👏👏👏
After my last review on the second book I was a bit skeptical about reading the third…. But I can honestly say I think the author really took the reviews and listened to her readers. I enjoyed seeing more of the bond and love between the three and actually knowing that there was something between cedar and Aurelia that was more than just physical pleasure, and knowing they had a connection outside of vesper was nice to see. This book was a good end to THIS series but I’m hoping there will be more books to come from this since we did get introduced to some new people, creatures, and places 👀… Though I would have liked to see more moments of just cedar and the Aurelia alone I won’t complain too much. I truly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to get my copy.
I have been looking forward to this book coming out, had on my calendar and still forgot. Dove right back into it once I finished what I was reading. Aurelia, Vesper, Cedar? They deserved the HEA.
The plot twist with Aurelia's mother was both heartbreaking and absolutely amazing for her to finally get rescued and Aurelia to finally let go of that guilt.
I ALMOST put it down when Cedar "died". You almost had me. But thank Elle Mae, because that blood bond saved my entire thoughts on this ending. I would've rioted to say the least especially after all they individually accomplished so they could be together.
Just the wrap up book this trilogy needed.

The best sapphic fantasy series I’ve read!! I love your writing so much, and these books definitely did not disappoint! Writing a thrupple can be hard to pull off but you make it seem so easy!!! ❤️
I was really looking forward to this one, I loved the first two, but it just wasn’t clicking for me. It makes no sense, there’s no story. This was a TBR for me, I read 42% and where is the plot?
This was a great wrap up to the story! I loved the plot twists and I couldn't put the book down. If you have not read this series I highly recommend doing so, if you enjoy spice with a great storyline. Amazing series!
A very good ending to the trilogy in my opinion. Definitely NSFW, so very spicy in parts..lol. I really liked our 3 main characters and am very satisfied with how the story wrapped up, it didn’t feel rushed which was a relief.
DNF’d at 9%. I suddenly remembered how boring I felt this series was and I still can’t remember what happened in the first 2 books. Can’t remember a single character.
Ok, holy cow! Surprises galore. This totally went in directions that surprised me and I didn’t see them til they happened. We got glimpses, but sheesh not at all where I thought the story was going. I did absolutely love how it ended, but I'm still not so sure how it got to the amazing ending. I’m still flabbergasted over the ‘surprise’ that awaited me when finding out the ‘secret’ to Adrian’s change in appearance.
