Lynne Lanning has such an effortless way of evoking emotion from her readers. Her characters are so realistic that the reader can feel their pain during trials and their joy during triumphs. Reviews state: "...it's as if Mrs. Lanning lived through this herself." "Couldn't put it down..." "A real page turner." Lynne enjoys turning history and her love of God into enjoyable, relatable stories with practical life lessons that can benefit people today. Each story tells of true bonds of love and loyalty, mixed with tough times and decisions, with a twist of humor and sometimes devastation...the same is true in life. With a blend of her own family members and heritage along with lots of fiction, it's hard to tell where reality stops and fantasy begins.

What a lovely book that starts out with Quince, the main female character, finding herself alone and totally destitute. The only thing she has left to sell is her favorite horse, her best friend, Romeo. The livery manager helps her find a good buyer. Quince finds herself in a precarious situation and is almost arrested but for one of the Williams’ sisters, who sees a new prospect for she and her sister. Quince is very thankful and doesn’t want to leave the sisters. After the sisters receive a letter from a man whose wife had died in an horrible accident and his daughter, who had been with her mother, stopped speaking, they pray about matching Quince with him. He seems very loving and lonely. Knowing that his precious little girl truly does need a mother, he agrees to be matched with Quince, and Quince agrees to care for his little girl. Quince finds a huge surprise when she arrives at her new home, not to mention how quickly the child responds to Quince. I loved the main characters and the wonderful plot of this entire book. It is a very well written story. I was blessed to be on the arc team and this is my own honest opinion of the same. Get your copy while it’s still on preorder! 📕♥️

What a beautiful story, Quince: Garden Belles Mail Order Brides was to read. Quince has lost everything in her life, except her horse. Now she must sell Romeo too. By accident, she is locked on the train and ends up in St Louis. She meets the Garden Belles, Dahlia and Zinnia by chance. Little did Quince know that they ran a matchmaking service. She doesn't want to marry, but the sisters will do their best to make it happen. Tyler doesn't want a wife either, just someone who can take care of the house, his daughter, Darlene and help on the ranch. So Quince takes the job and gets so much more.
I was given an ARC of this book by the author for an honest review.

Such a good down right great story. When Quince is forced to sell everything including her beautiful horse Romeo she doesn't know where to go or what to do.
Tyler absolutely is 100% against ever getting married again after both a failed marriage and the accident that took his wife's life. Also, it left his daughter traumatized so badly she required constant care.
I hope other readers will enjoy finding out just how Quince and Tyler come to know each other. It also shows just how great God can be!

Another lovely, well-written story by Lynne Lanning. Quince is a young woman who has lost everything, her family, home and horse who was her only possession. Now she in on her own. What will become of her? Quince is a beautiful, well-written story of loss, love and turning to prayer for guidance. I highly recommend this clean romance.

Quince is a young woman who is alone and destitute. After she has to sell her final and most loved horse and possession, she finds herself alone and in a new town. She has desires for her life, but no way to make them happen on her own strength. I loved this story of faith and reliance on God to work for everyone's good.

Having previously read more than one mail-order bride book, I was blown away by this author’s spin on the subject! I am literally sitting here smiling as I write this review, being able to actually picture Quince, Tyler, Darlene and the others as I followed the storyline, reinforced the God-given talent of this wordsmith, one who has entertained, inspired and blessed me over and over.

A wonderful story with many great characters. The plot is entertaining, and I love how the happenstance reflects God's work in real life. Nothing is a coincidence but God at work. The romance is a slow burn and falls beautifully into place. Entertaining, leaving me wanting more!
