Glimmers in the Dark: after hours with a bad boy

Rate this book
“How could a forbidden love feel so good?”

Nala Montgomery didn’t go looking for trouble, only fun, but trouble found her anyway in the form of Jamir Stone—a man she was warned to stay away from.

He’s dangerous, secretive, and off-limits… and yet, he sees her in a way no one else ever has.

As passion turns into something deeper, Nala and Jamir must decide how far they’re willing to go, and who they’re willing to disappoint, for a love that was never supposed to exist.

Glimmers in the dark

This story was so good and drew me in from the first page. I couldn’t put it down. The love between Jamir and Nala could be felt and you couldn’t help but root for them to be safe, happy and at peace together and away from the madness that Nala’s family was involved in. I loved how they loved each other unconditionally even when their mind tried to get the best of them in tense situations. They handled each other with love and care and you could tell they wear each other’s safe space and home.

3.5 ⭐️ Although the book was written well, I sort of struggled a little. It was a lot of telling & not enough dialogue between the FMC & MMC to make me feel that they had a solid connection. Everything felt surface level.

I do love the book cover 😍❤️
