This was pretty good. Kept me on my toes while reading. I didn't want to put it down to go to work. The way the book started, I was perplexed on how she was sold to the silver fox. It was an interesting progression. I enjoyed this book and how everything played out.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one, it was on my ‘recommended’ list on Kindle so I thought I’d give it a shot. It was a refreshing dark mafia romance read in the sense that I didn’t have to worry about OWD or cheating. Themes that seem like are a given in a lot of the mafia dark romances these days.
✨No cheating ✨No third act breakup ✨No cliffhanger

If you want a wild ride that doubles as steam therapy with a side of Bratva danger, Sold to the Silver Fox absolutely delivers. The premise is as bonkers as it sounds: Gia’s dead fiancé gambled away their home, leaving her with a million-dollar debt and ten days to pay up. With her back against the wall, she enters a high-stakes auction where Apollo — the silver-fox Bratva king himself — wins her bid, kicking off a whirlwind story full of twists, heat, and enough testosterone to power a small country.
What I loved about this book was how it kept me turning pages. Snow throws in dangerous twists — mafia ties, life-or-death stakes, and emotional vulnerability — that kept the momentum blistering. Apollo’s fierce protectiveness and Gia’s raw determination make for a combustible pairing, and the chemistry sparks off the page. Even when things threatened to settle into cliché, Snow snagged me with unexpected moments of tenderness and genuine emotional growth.
Now, I’ll be honest — the setup is high-concept and leans into some familiar trope territory. The innocent young woman facing impossible odds? Check. Older, smitten hero? Check. Friend-turned-enemy or betrayal? Check. It’s the kind of formula you’ve seen before — but Snow executes it with enough charm and swagger that it feels fresh on the page. There were points where I wished for a bit more nuance in the conflict, but honestly? I was too busy reading way past my bedtime to care. (Sorry, sleep.)
Her writing style blends gritty Bratva intensity with steamy romance and emotional beats that land — not just heat for heat’s sake. Snow’s pacing is sharp, and while the dialogue occasionally dips into dramatic flair, it fits the over-the-top world she’s creating. My only teeny gripe is that some plot points sometimes read like they were designed for maximum melodrama — but if that’s your jam, you’ll eat it up with a spoon.
Verdict: A thoroughly entertaining, unabashedly spicy romance that delivers on action, passion, and heart. Five stars well earned — this one is a binge-read magnet for fans of age-gap, mafia-flavored heat.

Decent
Story was pretty good- better than expected.
Both H/H were very mature about things so there was never any yelling or fighting, both were grounded & observant. It was different to read that for a change.
The virgin auction was handled better than expected too. All the participants were nervous & talked with each other.
My only thing was how naive the FMC really was about it all.
At 1 point she defended the Mmc doing virgin auctions- yes, the MMC actually is the one that hosts them.
2. He was the one enforcing the debt on the house against her. He didnt care that it was in her name either. He was going to take the house in 10 days.
While you end up liking him (well I did) I didnt believe he really loved loved her. I mean maybe? I didnt feel it at the end, I dud t feel him being possessive or enraged at all. I felt that he liked her alot & that she was endearing to him.
I would've liked the epilogue showing him with his first ever daughter? Showing that he'd changed as a father maybe? Instead we got told that the fmc wanted to change their sex life up & try doggie style sex for the first time? Weird.this is a 1 year epilogue btw.
2. He buys her a new house in Hawaii cause? I thought the house she had in the beginning was her dream home? The 1 she never wanted to leave so she sold her virginity? So that kinda seemed pointless.
Also very diabolical villain, evil even.

amazing
When is a bad guy a good guy? When his name is Apollo and he is the leader of the Bratva.. He didn’t know there was good in him until he met Gia. This book is absolutely a roller coaster. I love Gia, she is a throwback woman of an era gone by, but so strong that she amazes even herself. Apollo is so strong and sure, a man with many sons, and a man who was struggling to keep his hold on the city. Now Gia is being used against him. There is no way you cannot love this book. The characters are so amazing. The description of them is so spot on that you actually know them.. You feel what they feel, especially Gia. She is one of my favorite characters that I’ve had in a very long time.

This story packs the heat and had me all caught up in Apollo and Gia who finds herself in a predicament thanks to her now dead fiancé. He puts their home up for collateral for a gambling debt and in order to keep her home she has to come up with one million dollars in ten days. Her friend provides her with a chance through an auction and her journey with Apollo begins when he lands the winning bid. This story is filled with dangerous twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages.

Sold to the silver fox
Apollo was superb, so hot and Gia was so lucky. There was tension between the men bidding for her but eventually Apollo won. Lots of different things happen in this book and there are a couple of gruesome bits. He had 6 sons, her fiancé being one of them. He got killed and then another of Apollo’s sons gets shot. That is when things start to get messy. Factor in a kidnapping, pregnancy, and a crazy person after Apollo, this book starts to heat up. A happy ending arrives at just the right time.

'The only way to pay my dead ex’s debts?
Sell my v-card…
To his silver fox dad…"
I was so excited to be able to arc read for Laylah Snow as she is fast becoming a favorite author of mine. I love her Hockey Series books, and this series did not disappoint in the least. The characters drove the storyline, and they were very compelling and complex and perfectly steamy together. Plot was well written and straightforward. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Gia needs money to pay debts, so enters a virginity auction on suggestion from a friend. She is bought by Apollo, a bratva boss, businessman and father of sons, also a sexy silver fox 25 years her senior. A dark and dramatic read with steamy moments, violence (as you might expect from a dark mafia story) and a few good twists I loved and hadn't seen coming ahead of time. Loved it!!.

This book turned out to be more than a simple Bratva tale. Those components are there, no doubt, but the heart of this storyline beats as a tautly twisting tale of love and family and remembering the importance of both. Gia and Apollo meet under the most unlikely circumstances and against all odds forge a connection that nothing and nobody can sever. A really good read !!!.

This is one of the best mafia romance books right here by Laylah that will make your knees knock, palms sweat and spine tingle with heat and excitement. By the time you finish reading this book you will need a cool shower or a cold drink. Holy smokes I devoured Apollo and Gia in this scorching hot page turning 10-star romance book. You are going to absolutely LOVE reading this book.

I loved this story about Gia and Apollo. It was so well written. The way he feels for her right from the start makes me so happy for her. Their chemistry and attention to each other is everything. Also, let me just say I love the names of his sons.

She thinks that the only thing she has left of her fiancé is the house he bought her. That all changes when two men show up at her door and tell her that she has 10 days to vacate the house or hand over a large sum of money. When told about the auction she knows that is her only option to save her house.

…I’ll eat my phone.
Ai has a distinct formula and pattern and can be easy to detect in creative/fiction writing. I’m not going to type out all the signs of Ai use: you can look into it if you want.

Heady combination of thrill and heat!
So much in this story! Loved every minute! Couldn't put it down. Gia is all sweet, innocent light. Apollo is a force to be wary of. Yes she shines and pulls him from the dark, entangling herself in a dangerous world without realizing it.
