She built the perfect algorithm for love, but it didn’t predict him.

Vivian West has spent her adult life proving that love isn’t luck—it’s data. As the CEO of Matchify, the world’s most advanced matchmaking app, she’s built an empire on the science of compatibility. Love isn’t about fate; it’s about probability.

Grant Wilder doesn’t believe in perfect matches. The investigative journalist has spent his career exposing scams, and Matchify is next on his list. People want to believe love can be calculated, but he knows better. His instincts have never failed him—except, maybe, when it comes to Vivian.

She trusts the numbers. He trusts his gut. And the more they clash, the more undeniable their chemistry becomes. But according to Matchify’s algorithm, they’re completely incompatible. And numbers don’t lie… right?

No Match Found is a closed-door romantic comedy full of wit, office antics, and toe-curling romance.

“Compatibility is about more than an algorithm. It can mean two very similar things working together, but it can also be like harmony in music—two different things that come together and make something more interesting. Something richer and deeper. That’s what you and I have.”

This book felt like watching someone slowly loosen their grip on survival mode and realize they’re allowed to actually live, and UGHHHH that got me. 😭

I knew almost immediately that I was going to love Grant and Vivian together because their banter had this constant push-and-pull energy where neither of them was trying too hard, but every conversation still somehow felt charged. You could feel the tension sitting underneath every interaction without the book needing to scream "LOOK THEY LIKE EACH OTHER". It was quieter than that. Softer. And honestly, way more effective because of it.

And Vivian. :( I adored her. Seeing a woman who built herself from the ground up, runs a company, operates with logic and structure and precision, but still secretly carries around this belief that maybe she just isn’t “made” for love? Ouch. 😭 That hit harder than I expected. There was something so sad about how disconnected she felt from her own emotional needs, like she’d convinced herself competency and vulnerability couldn’t exist in the same person. 🥺🥺

Then Grant comes in and completely wrecks that idea without ever trying to overpower her personality. He never makes her feel like she needs to become softer or smaller or less ambitious to deserve love. He just… meets her where she is and patiently shows her there’s still room for joy and messiness and spontaneity inside a life that’s been built around control.

And the thing is, he’s SO respectful about it. Like, painfully respectful. 😭 There’s this underlying honesty to him the entire book that made every emotional moment hit harder because you trusted him completely. He doesn’t manipulate. He doesn’t push. He doesn’t force revelations out of her. He just stays steady.

And when she starts opening up about how people perceive her, and how they mistake composure for emptiness, the book gives us this moment from Grant that genuinely stopped me in my tracks because it perfectly captures how deeply he understands her without reducing her to stereotypes.

“Still waters run deep. Only people who insist on playing in the shallows don’t know that.”

THAT is the moment where I completely folded for him. Because he isn’t trying to flatter her there. He’s recognizing her. He sees that she feels things deeply; she’s just learned not to perform those emotions for people who were never paying attention in the first place. And I loved that the book didn’t make her transformation about becoming a completely different person. Grant never asks her to stop being ambitious or logical or controlled. He just shows her that vulnerability can exist alongside those things.

You can literally feel Vivian starting to crave his presence in ways that scare her because he becomes one of the only places where she doesn’t have to hold herself together so tightly all the time. And when the emotional intimacy finally starts settling into something undeniable...

“I wanted everything, every question and answer he had. I’d tell him anything he wanted if he’d just hold me again.”

THAT yearning. The vulnerability of realizing someone has become the place your body and mind want to return to. 🥹🥹🫶🏼

It’s not even just romantic longing at that point. It’s relief. It’s the realization that someone has become a place of comfort and safety for her, and suddenly she wants more than just control and routine and predictability. She wants him. The emotional vulnerability packed into that one moment made my chest hurt a little.

And the thing about Grant is that he never approaches her feelings carelessly. He understands how much of her self-worth has been shaped by other people misunderstanding her, dismissing her, or making her feel difficult to love. So when those insecurities creep in again, he doesn’t give her empty platitudes. He gives her honesty in the exact way she needs it.

“Don’t let a man who didn’t have the capacity to appreciate one of the best things about you pull you down even a second longer.”

I loved this because it perfectly reflects one of my favorite things about Grant: he sees her. Not the polished version. Not the impressive CEO version. Just her. And every time she doubts herself, he responds with honesty instead of empty reassurance. It made every emotional moment feel grounded and sincere.

And by the end? 🥹🥹🥹🥹the book captures that terrifying shift where someone stops just being part of your life and suddenly becomes woven into the way you think entirely.

“I’d lived life—the vast majority of it—without Grant Wilder. But that had been before I’d known he existed.
Now, his existence was all I could think about.”

It captures that overwhelming transition so perfectly. The before and after of loving someone. The realization that technically you survived without them once, but emotionally, that version of your life already feels distant now that you know what it feels like to be seen this fully.

My fav part is that the book continues returning to this idea that truth matters. That real connection cannot exist without emotional honesty, even when honesty is uncomfortable or vulnerable or terrifying. Grant never hides behind games or mixed signals. Even when he’s quieter about his feelings, there’s always this steadiness to him that makes every confession feel incredibly genuine when it finally comes out.

And PLEASEEEE, the text message from him near the end nearly took me out because it was so simple and honest and exactly what she needed to hear. 😭😭 Grant constantly understands that taking care of someone emotionally sometimes means telling them the truth they’re too afraid to believe about themselves. And the fact that he wanted to be someone she could lean on after she spent so long carrying everything alone? I’m emotionally not okay 😭

This whole book just felt warm and thoughtful and quietly romantic in a way that sneaks up on you instead of overwhelming you all at once. It’s not trying to be loud about love. It’s showing how love can slowly rewire the way someone sees themselves. And honestly, that made it hit even harder for me. An easy five stars for me

🎉Happy Release Day!🎉

I really love this author’s writing, and I had fun reading this book
, but I was hoping for more feels.

Vivian is the CEO of a revolutionary dating app, while Grant is a journalist known for exposing scams. And he’s now investigating Matchify…

I initially loved the dynamic between Vivian and Grant. The way he practically dared her to set up a profile and start dating was very entertaining. There was a lot of potential there. They had chemistry, and I kept reading, waiting for it to go up in flames, but except for a few sparks here and there, no fire was detected. I needed more accidental touches, covert glances, and hitched breaths 😭

I liked how they both approached the unfortunate low score on the dating app. I loved that Grant didn’t care one bit about it, and how Vivian eventually managed to make sense of it all too.

Overall, a nice story, and I’ll keep reading everything this author writes.😌

Thanks to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the arc, all opinions are my own.

I inhaled this one. It was a finish-in-less-than-twenty-four-hours kind of read. The opposites-attracts vibes were so strong, and I was here for it.

Vivian is CEO of Matchify; Grant is an investigative journalist known for bringing down companies. He is assigned to do a piece on Matchify, but he becomes increasingly interested in Vivian.

This was so fun! Vivian going on dates through her own app and having Grant tag along to observe them was so entertaining. I loved the way that Grant saw through Vivian and cracked up at the ways he challenged her, like when he caught her spying on him through the plant leaves. I also loved his thoughtfulness, like his choice of flower for her and his invitation to her to stop letting a stupid man have control over her.

This was a definite winner in my book, and I'm really excited about Brooke's story next!

Favorite Quotes:
-if Grant planned on peeling back my layers like an onion, I fully intended on making him pay for it in tears.

-“I think your graphs, your charts, your regression models…they make you feel safe. But if I touched you right now”—his eyes held mine, dark and focused—“I guarantee you wouldn’t be thinking about graphs or data.”

-He smelled like wintergreen gum. I was a peppermint girl. Or used to be.

-“So, when you told me yesterday that you’d rather fake your own death than go on a second date with someone who doesn’t know the difference between there, their, and they’re, that was you filtering yourself?”

-“What happened to giving me space?” I asked, ignoring the thrill I felt at being so close to him and the balm it was to my overactive assumption generator. His eyes roved over my face, darkening in a way that made my pulse race. “This is me giving you space. In my mind, I’ve got one hand on the small of your back and the other threaded through your hair right now.”

-“I don’t open your doors or offer to drive because I think you’re weak. I do it because I see firsthand how hard you work and how much pressure you put on yourself to make sure others are taken care of, and I think you deserve to be taken care of sometimes too.”

-“Don’t let a man who didn’t have the capacity to appreciate one of the best things about you pull you down even a second longer.”

-“Would you like to hear some stats I’ve run?” he whispered in my ear. “Always.” “I’m 100% in love with you, Vivian. No margin of error. Statistically significant.” My mouth spread into a smile against the warmth of his neck. “Stop talking dirty to me.”

At first this one was hard to get into because I just don’t relate to a female main character running a larg business and the modern business speak/language can be so confusing but eventually they explained some of the things I found confusing.
So in the end I really loved the story. The chemistry and romantic tension between Vivian and Grant is off the charts. I loved how he helped her feel loved despite her intense personality which could describe my personality as well, so I was able to relate to her in that way.
Definitely recommend this newest romcom by Martha Keyes.

4.75⭐️ this was so much fun!!!! The banter between our two main characters was phenomenal, they made me laugh so much. I loved the idea of a powerful woman CEO trying out her own dating platform. I love that Grant got roped into a lot of it. The way he went for a three day interview and then it seemed like he never left. I couldn’t stop smiling at all their little moment. Like when he’d go along on her dates, but she would really only be thinking of him sitting there watching the date. I loved watching him fall for her from her pov. Because the subtle signs were there if you were looking for them. The whole Rose of Jericho… are you kidding me??? He was adorable for that. The book was so fun and witty that I didn’t even notice until the end that it was a closed door romance. Which almost made it better. Everything was based off of tension and longing and just getting to know a person. I loved the addition of Chancify at the end. I was waiting for them to mention how the stats aren’t always right and it’s important to consider chemistry, but I like the idea of people taking a chance on the statistics. Loved Grant!!! He was exactly what she needed!! He had so many good quotes and funny moments. He always supported her and that was beautiful!

I’m so interested to see where this series goes. She’s definitely setting up Brooke and Cam, but could we be getting a potential book about Katie and Nick???? I could so see his match with his wife not working out and Katie being right about it and then maybe him going to her to question why she thought that in the first place. I don’t know. It seems like a good idea!!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for this advanced copy!!!!

No Match Found is Book 1 in the new Matchify series. This one was everything I hoped it would be…and more! Vivian and Grant have the cutest opposites-attract connection, full of all the workplace drama, enemies-to-love vibes, and witty romcom banter. It read like an old romcom movie and I flew through this story. Ariel Royce did a fantastic job of bringing this one to life with her narration.

Vivian has spent the last few years building up a dating app and Grant is the journalist who is ready to tear it down. Every interaction oozed with swoon-filled tension and I found myself with a constant smile on my face and a satisfied beat to my heart. This is exactly the kind of book that hits all the feels I desire and delivers a perfectly balanced story.

Charming, sweet, hilarious, and full of heart, No Match Found is a romcom winner!

-I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

~She built the perfect algorithm for love, but it didn’t predict him…

-My friends, I found NO MATCH FOUND, to be a delightful story filled with such sharp humor and banter, sparkling tension, swoony romance, and great character growth! This story began slow for me, but it did build up nicely along the way, and unexpectedly surprised me in good ways. While this story is lighthearted, it is layered with great depth. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the character’s progress of coming to discover that not everything in life can be perfectly calculated, controlled, or programmed for exactness. It simply isn’t like that. It’s more about being one’s self and being open to new possibilities, to being one’s self, and being seen/loved, to simply being enough. The connection felt real and natural. Seeing the difference that comes with genuine care and support makes such an impact/difference for the better for characters. Watching these dear characters learn/recognize who they are, of being able to let go of perfect results, to letting go off high expectations, and being brave and vulnerable with moving forward had my heart! It made this story feel more relatable and more inspiring. This is a cute story with many great take aways that is worth the read!🙌🏻📚🩷

•Content: a few instances of mild language used, no danger, emotionally scarring exes, some feelings of not being enough/high expectations, kisses only.

It’s been a long time since a romance novel has held my attention the way No Match Found did.

Vivian is a badass—likable, sharp, and effortlessly relatable—while Grant is charming, thoughtful, and unintentionally funny in a way that makes him impossible not to root for. Their dynamic had me fully invested from the start, especially as Vivian remained completely oblivious to just how obvious Grant was being, which only made everything even more entertaining.

This is a no-spice romance, but honestly, it doesn’t need it. Even if you usually prefer a bit more heat in your reads, the tension here more than makes up for it. The mutual pining, emotional buildup, and the almost-flirtatious weight behind their conversations create enough chemistry to keep you hooked on every page.

If I had one wish, it would be for a mid-book Grant POV just to see inside his head a little earlier. That said, the story still works beautifully without it.

I also want to highlight the audiobook narration—the voice actress did a beautiful job bringing the story and characters to life, adding real depth and charm to the listening experience.

Overall, I have no notes—just a strong recommendation for anyone who enjoys office romance with plenty of angst, banter, and slow-burn tension.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for the ALC.

Happy sigh!

This was such a delightful read. From the very first chapter, I was drawn into Vivian and Grant's story. Their opposites-attract dynamic was wonderfully entertaining, and their chemistry sparkled on every page. The banter between them was one of my favorite parts of the book—I found myself smiling throughout many of their interactions.

I also really enjoyed the workplace setting, which added an extra layer of fun to the story. The plot moved at a great pace, and I had a hard time putting the book down once I started reading.

Overall, this was a charming, well-written rom-com that delivered exactly what I was hoping for: humor, heart, and a romance worth rooting for. I would happily read it again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fun romantic comedy.

No Match Found by Martha Keyes was such a fun read! I loved the witty banter between Vivian and Grant, and their opposites-attract dynamic made this one hard to put down. The romance was sweet and swoony while still keeping things clean, and both characters were so likable. “Chemistry is chaotic. It might be exciting at first, but then it’s over, and you’re left with mayhem. Like Pepsi and Mentos. I prefer something a little more reliable and a little less messy.”

I just love me a book that I can’t put down and this was one of them! No Match Found is the adorable story of Vivian, the CEO of a dating app and Grant an investigative journalist sent to write a story about Matchify. When Vivian agrees to join her own dating app and let Grant shadow her dates, they both end up with more than they ever expected.

Vivian and Grant’s story drew me in and kept me so invested! Vivian had been burned pretty badly in the past and had no desire to date and certainly didn’t have any plans to ever fall in love! Grant came for a story and quickly found out that wasn’t all he wanted. 😏

I loved these two so much! Their tension and chemistry was so perfect! I loved how Vivian’s heart softened over time and how Grant was able to see her heart and coax her out of her distrust of men. I loved their shared love of maple donuts, the date shadowing, the sweetest date, the “tumbleweed,” and their HEA!!

Favorite quotes:

“Evil people are always super hot or super ugly. It’s an unspoken rule.”

“Chemistry is chaotic. It might be exciting at first, but then it’s over, and you’re left with mayhem. Like Pepsi and Mentos. I prefer something a little more reliable and a little less messy.”

I really wanted to love this one because it started out so strong, but unfortunately it didn't fully deliver for me. The chemistry between the main characters never seemed to develop beyond friendship, which made the romance feel underwhelming. And when I say romance, I’m not meaning spice. Romance books can have little to no spice, but when the yearning and connection with the characters is strong, you still get that romance connection. This just felt like close friends that tried a kiss.

At the beginning, the banter was engaging, and it felt like the story was setting up plenty of tension and emotional angst between the characters. However, as the plot progressed, that buildup never quite paid off. The relationship didn't come together in a satisfying way, and the momentum gradually faded. I would have also liked a bit more background into mainly Vivian’s past. Don’t get me wrong, I actually loved her character, and Grants, but I just wanted to know them better. I wanted them to connect a little more and build some want between them before the climax which would have allowed that to hit harder too.

The ending wasn't bad, but it felt flat and somewhat bland compared to the promise of the first third to half of the book. I would have liked more tension during the climax and a stronger romantic connection between the characters. In the end, the romance felt closer to the characters 12% match than I was hoping for.

This one surprised me in the best way! I was looking for an office romance and this one was great. The cover makes it seems like he's her boss - he's not. She's the CEO of a tech start up and he doesn't even work there.

Grant is an investigative reporter with a reputation for taking down businesses with his articles. Vivian has to use the dating app she created to get matched and go on dates for the article and he has to watch her go on dates and write about it.

Both audiobook narrators were solid and I really enjoyed the time it took for the romance to develop.

Pick this up if you like:
An office setting
Black cat FMC
Workaholics
Enemies to Lovers
No spice or language
He uses a typewriter unironically
Slow burn

This book reminds me of a closed door version of The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren.

About the Book: She built the perfect algorithm for love, but it didn’t predict him. She trusts the numbers. He trusts his gut.

This is my first book by Martha Keyes but I would definitely read more. She has so many!!! What are your favorites?

• What to expect:
- Clean Romance
- Cute Banter (especially the car park lol)
- Smart and career driven FMC
- Believable fear of dating due to past relationships
- No miscommunication trope (finally!!!)

• Rating: 3.75 ⭐️ rounded up
• Narration: Ariel Royce ✅

This was a cute! Vivian is the CEO of the dating platform, Matchify. She believes data can override chemistry to make good matches, and is the foundation of the company. She believes in people finding love, she just doesn’t believe it for herself due to being told she’s was too much in a past relationship. Grant is a journalist who is assigned to dig deep and write an article on Matchify for a potential investment organization. He’s been known to write pieces that have led to the demise of other companies, so Vivian and her team are willing to do whatever it takes to show Grant (and the investment organization) that Matchify is worth it. Which means Vivian is going to have to take her own test, be matched with people, and go on dates - all while Grant has a front row seat to document and observe it all (including the dates). As part of the research the experience, Grant has also taken the test. Him and Vivian match, but just barely at 12%, but it means they too have to go on a date. The book sets up for another one in the series and I’m looking forward to reading it!

Thank you to NetGalley and Paradigm Press for the copy of No Match Found

Vivian West is a scientific kind of gal—she believes in what she can observe, analyze, and draw conclusions on. Love is no exception. She created her company, Matchify, with those principles in mind; applying science to love. The matchmaking app collects data from users to draw the probability that they will be compatible with others on the app. Strictly data analysis, and obviously the answer to love. That is, until investigative journalist Grant Wilder shows up intending to expose Matchify as a scam - and using Vivian as the test subject, forcing her to test out her own app. They clash in every way Vivian can measure (except their shared love of donuts), yet as they work together, they draw closer and closer with undeniable chemistry that just may defy her algorithm.

This was my first book by Martha Keyes, and I am excited to read more because I loved this one from start to finish! Such a fun read that had me feeling every single emotion along with the characters the whole way through. Vivian was such a relatable character for me, and I just adored how Grant was the perfect balance for her. Their quick wit and banter were hilarious, the tension and yearning were perfect (nothing explicit, but you won’t miss it), and I loved the character growth throughout. If Brooke and Cam get a sequel, I’m here for it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.5)

Release date: June 3, 2026

Vivian loves nothing more than solid data, especially when she can use it (yes, singular) to justify her ex’s belief that she’s too intense to be loved. When the compatibility of the advanced matchmaking app she leads as CEO is investigated by journalist Grant Wilder, science is truly put to the test. Which is more reliable—data or chemistry?

The premise of this story is unmatched—woman in STEM? Opposites attract? Workplace setting? Martha’s witty banter? A very compatible romance for me. I love how intentional her writing feels with every line, from the yearning beneath the playful jabs to how the plot folds neatly together.

Why the 3.5? I was a bit bored at the beginning and wasn’t continually reaching for this one. (I’m really trying hard not to spoil anything with this next sentence, so beware!!) There’s a plot point regarding their compatibility data that I spent the entire book hoping was wrong. When I got to the end and it was still the same, I understood why it didn’t change because of the point the author is trying to communicate through Vivian’s growth arc. I just personally wished it was wrong. This is a me problem!! Did that make sense? No? DM me if you want the direct spoiler for more clarity 🙈

Their chemistry and fun dates were definitely the shining stars of the story!!

Thank you so much to the author for the eARC!

“Wait… how is this going to come together?!” 👀💘

That was basically my entire reading experience with No Match Found by Martha, and honestly? I loved every second of it.

Vivian is a powerful CEO who’s convinced her intense, driven personality makes her incompatible with love, and I really enjoyed that this story didn’t feel predictable in the way it unfolded. Sure, you know who the romance is pointing toward, but the how kept me completely invested. 🙌🏻

I’m personally much more laid back than Vivian, so I didn’t necessarily relate to her personality, but I did love getting a glimpse into the mindset of someone so ambitious and laser-focused. It honestly made me appreciate the driven people in my own life even more. 🥹

And Grant?? SWOON. The way he loved every part of Vivian — even the parts she thought made her “too much” — gave me butterflies the entire time. 🦋 Their chemistry, emotional tension, and the way he challenged her beliefs about compatibility made this such a fun and heartfelt romance to read.

This is the start of a new series, and I’m already attached to the Matchify crew. I can already tell these future books are going to have me hooked. 🥰

Thank you so much, Martha, for letting me be part of the ARC team! I’ll absolutely be following this series as it continues. ♥️

I had a lot of fun with this story! You follow Vivian, the CEO of Matchify, an app that uses data to connect singles in the hope of becoming the match for life. It's extra fun for me, because I met my partner of seven years through a dating app, so I kinda recognised some of aspects of the book.
The CEO is kinda challenged, kinda forced to use her own app, all to get the money to invest in the company. She is followed by the journalist Grant that will write about her experiences. And we all know how the story will go from there ;)
The story was easy to follow. I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook while doing some creative stuff. It's not long, which makes it a sweet book to read in between heavy books (like high fantasy, or those really sad books). You know what the ending will be, you'll be entertained and that's great! I loved the funny banter, the sweet questions, the true chemistry between the two people. If you're in the mood for something light, quick and funny? Go for it!

I had envisioned an ending for this book, like, I though the thing with the app was a mistake and it was going to be fixed somehow (when you read the book you'll know what I'm talking about) but the way the writer fixed that was more realistic than I wanted to admit in that moment. After two pages of knowing the solution I thought "this is perfect".

I loved how these two met and how they instantly made a connection with the way their brains worked. I enjoyed every single page of this book. It's cliché yes, but I loved it. I do want to know more about this group of friends so I hope the future books come soon.

This one was a book telling you, you are good enough, to let your fears die and embrace the things that make you different. Don't let other people's fault become your burden to bare. I loved this one!!

Probably my favorite romance book! Was it from not ready the summary so it would be a surprise, or was it because the MCs reminded me of the MCs in the 27 Dresses movie?
There was no silly, misunderstanding breakup that a lot of romances have. Absolutely loved Grant, the tension and banter these 2 MCs have, and hopefully one day this will be a movie and I can experience this story again.
Thank you Martha Keyes, you are now my favorite author!

4.5 ⭐️ maybe??? I rounded down, because it drives me crazy when the FMC’s entire personality is based on something an ex said a decade ago and it takes her 90% of the book to break free from it. BUT otherwise the story itself is great, the ending was wonderful, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

I thought 📝
The author did a fantastic job bringing the reader on Vivian's journey. At times, I was dying for Grant's POV.

I loved ♥️
This is a softer, gentler pace. Grant has to protect himself and Vivian with his choices. The pacing felt organic. The conflict felt necessary and not contrived.

Vivian has a text message she constantly rereads to "ground" herself. It's a self destructive practice and I love how Grant reframes the lie with truth. Over and over I wanted to scream at Vivian "Stop believing a lie".

You are not too much. You are not less than. You are exactly who the world needs. As is.

I couldn't put it down!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cute, clean romance

The book felt longer than it was, but it also made the development of their relationship feel natural. I liked how observant Grant was. Seriously, he'll make you swoon.

"When have I ever made you believe I think you're fragile?" "I don't open your doors or offer to drive because I think you're weak. I do it because I see firsthand how hard you work and how much pressure you put on yourself to make sure others are taken care of, and I think you deserve to be taken care of sometimes too."
Thank you Netgalley, the author Martha Keys and Victory Editing for the ARC.
"No Match Found" follows the story of a female CEO Vivian who runs a matchmaking app and believes love is about numbers. Grant on the other hand is a journalist who exposes scams and his eyes are set on Matchify.
This is definitely a book that you should read if you are in a reading slump (like I was) or crave for a closed door romance. The book took my attention from the 1st page itself. I love how the author highlights the issues faced by women who are ambitious and know what they want. She has accurately covered the topics for which I would give her much needed round of applause which she truly deserves.
The character of Vivian was well written as it allowed me as a reader to get an inner understanding of her world and her personality. It showed me the difficulties that she went through as a female CEO and how she shaped herself and made a name for herself in a world with women restricted due to glass ceilings. The authors writing was spot on with regards to Vivian's personality as she made sure to make her confident, strong and analytical without making her look inhumane or incapable of feeling emotions.
Grant on the other had me questioning his true intensions initially, but as the book progressed my feelings towards his character changed. Grant can be seen to be the true epitome of a gentleman who respects boundaries and makes sure to voice his feelings. While the story was from Vivian's POV only, I as a reader was able to see the inner workings of Grant's mind as well.
The chemistry between the characters is beautiful with the banter and the teasing (which I personally love in a book). This book showed the inner workings of a relationship and allowed readers to understand the true meaning of love where there is respect but also understanding between the characters. I adore how attentive Grant is when it comes to Vivian and the quote above perfectly encapsulates it.

The book contains tropes:
🌻 Opposites attract
🌻 Reverse grumpy x sunshine (according to me)
🌻 Single POV
🌻 Witty and amazing banter
🌻 Women in male dominated field
🌻 Female friendships

This book gets a 4.5 out of 5 stars from me and I can't wait to read more of this series by the author.

As someone who has absolutely ignored dating app compatibility percentages in favor of “but he’s funny,” this book was deeply entertaining to me.

The whole setup is basically catnip for rom-com readers: a woman who built an empire on the belief that love can be calculated, versus a journalist whose entire personality is professionally side-eyeing things. Naturally, they’re allegedly incompatible while very obviously becoming obsessed with each other. Which, scientifically speaking, is my favorite genre of romance.

Vivian was probably my favorite part of the book. I liked that she’s ambitious and analytical without being written as cold or robotic. She genuinely believes in what she built, and the story doesn’t mock her for it. Watching someone so committed to logic slowly realize chemistry doesn’t always cooperate with carefully curated data? Extremely fun.

And Grant has exactly the kind of energy I enjoy in romantic comedies — skeptical, a little annoying on purpose, but clearly intrigued long before he wants to admit it. Their banter felt sharp without trying too hard, and the opposites-attract dynamic worked really well because neither of them completely changes who they are.

I also appreciated that the romance leaned into tension and emotional build-up rather than relying on spice. Since it’s closed-door, the connection really has to come through the dialogue, chemistry, and little moments between them — and for me, it did. The office antics and constant “we absolutely should not like each other this much” energy carried the story nicely.

Also, there’s something objectively hilarious about a matchmaking algorithm basically looking at two people and going: absolutely not. Meanwhile the romantic tension is sitting there in 4K.

Overall, No Match Found feels smart, charming, and very easy to read. A really solid rom-com for people who love witty banter, opposites-attract dynamics, and the deeply satisfying experience of watching emotionally stubborn people prove their own theories wrong.

Thank you Netgalley and Author for an Arc !

"I was an accomplished businesswoman. I had two degrees and owned my own company. Why did I feel like a 13-year-old tripping in gym class when Grant was around?"

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own, and a review was not required.

Vivian West built a matchmaking empire based on data, algorithms, and compatibility scores. Grant Wilder is an investigative journalist determined to prove her company is all hype. The problem? The more they clash, the harder it becomes to ignore the chemistry between them—even when the numbers insist they're all wrong for each other.

When this book says it delivers the kind of romance that makes you giddy, I can 100% confirm that claim.

SO. SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD.

If you love banter and flirtation, this needs to be your next read. Seriously. Maybe even stop what you're currently reading and start this one instead. It's that level of amazing, and I'm telling you—you need it in your life ASAP.

From the dedication to the final page, I was completely hooked. This was a less-than-24-hour read for me, and I'd argue I'm living a pretty busy life right now. Somehow, I kept finding excuses to pick it back up.

It's fun, flirty, clever, and completely addictive. I loved the premise, I loved the side characters, and Martha Keyes... please bless us with a series from this world. Please, please, PLEASE.

There are so many things I want to talk about, but I don't want to spoil a single thing. What I will say is that this book includes some unexpected elements that felt incredibly refreshing and helped it stand out in a very crowded romcom market. Read it and you'll know exactly what I mean.

And let's just say, statistically speaking, this book is very much my type.

Bottom line: I loved this book. It's an A+ read.

🚨 SPOILER ALERT: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I am giving No Match Found by Martha Keyes a 4-star review. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Though a matching app plot is not exactly a brand-new idea in romance, the execution here is wonderful! The tension and slow burn between Grant, our MMC, and Vivian, our FMC, is absolutely superb. It delivers a witty, engaging corporate setup that kept me turning the pages on my Kindle.
ARC Disclosure: A huge thank you to NetGalley and the author, Martha Keyes, for providing an advanced copy of this book. I am so grateful for the opportunity to read and share my honest thoughts!
The Review
The story follows Vivian and Grant as they navigate a high-stakes professional environment complicated by a tech-driven matching algorithm. While the underlying concept of a matchmaking app bringing two opposites together is a familiar favorite in the contemporary romance world, the refreshing workplace dynamic breathes new life into the premise. Watching these two try to balance their professional roles while dealing with an undeniable, simmering undercurrent of attraction makes for an incredibly fun ride.
The Good
I really enjoyed this sort of office work relationship! Workplace romances live and die by their banter, and Martha Keyes absolutely delivers on that front. The professional proximity forces Grant and Vivian into constant contact, and the building tension between them is top-tier slow burn perfection. Grant makes for a fantastic romantic lead, and watching his dynamic with Vivian unfold in the office setting was incredibly entertaining and satisfying.
The Not So Good
The only reason this didn’t quite hit that 5-star mark for me is that I was still hoping for a little bit more though... more of a connection maybe. While the workplace tension and witty back-and-forth were excellent, I wanted just a fraction more emotional depth to fully seal their bond. That being said, it is still a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish
