She built the perfect algorithm for love, but it didn’t predict him.

Vivian West has spent her adult life proving that love isn’t luck—it’s data. As the CEO of Matchify, the world’s most advanced matchmaking app, she’s built an empire on the science of compatibility. Love isn’t about fate; it’s about probability.

Grant Wilder doesn’t believe in perfect matches. The investigative journalist has spent his career exposing scams, and Matchify is next on his list. People want to believe love can be calculated, but he knows better. His instincts have never failed him—except, maybe, when it comes to Vivian.

She trusts the numbers. He trusts his gut. And the more they clash, the more undeniable their chemistry becomes. But according to Matchify’s algorithm, they’re completely incompatible. And numbers don’t lie… right?

No Match Found is a closed-door romantic comedy full of wit, office antics, and toe-curling romance.

“Compatibility is about more than an algorithm. It can mean two very similar things working together, but it can also be like harmony in music—two different things that come together and make something more interesting. Something richer and deeper. That’s what you and I have.”

This book felt like watching someone slowly loosen their grip on survival mode and realize they’re allowed to actually live, and UGHHHH that got me. 😭

I knew almost immediately that I was going to love Grant and Vivian together because their banter had this constant push-and-pull energy where neither of them was trying too hard, but every conversation still somehow felt charged. You could feel the tension sitting underneath every interaction without the book needing to scream "LOOK THEY LIKE EACH OTHER". It was quieter than that. Softer. And honestly, way more effective because of it.

And Vivian. :( I adored her. Seeing a woman who built herself from the ground up, runs a company, operates with logic and structure and precision, but still secretly carries around this belief that maybe she just isn’t “made” for love? Ouch. 😭 That hit harder than I expected. There was something so sad about how disconnected she felt from her own emotional needs, like she’d convinced herself competency and vulnerability couldn’t exist in the same person. 🥺🥺

Then Grant comes in and completely wrecks that idea without ever trying to overpower her personality. He never makes her feel like she needs to become softer or smaller or less ambitious to deserve love. He just… meets her where she is and patiently shows her there’s still room for joy and messiness and spontaneity inside a life that’s been built around control.

And the thing is, he’s SO respectful about it. Like, painfully respectful. 😭 There’s this underlying honesty to him the entire book that made every emotional moment hit harder because you trusted him completely. He doesn’t manipulate. He doesn’t push. He doesn’t force revelations out of her. He just stays steady.

And when she starts opening up about how people perceive her, and how they mistake composure for emptiness, the book gives us this moment from Grant that genuinely stopped me in my tracks because it perfectly captures how deeply he understands her without reducing her to stereotypes.

“Still waters run deep. Only people who insist on playing in the shallows don’t know that.”

THAT is the moment where I completely folded for him. Because he isn’t trying to flatter her there. He’s recognizing her. He sees that she feels things deeply; she’s just learned not to perform those emotions for people who were never paying attention in the first place. And I loved that the book didn’t make her transformation about becoming a completely different person. Grant never asks her to stop being ambitious or logical or controlled. He just shows her that vulnerability can exist alongside those things.

You can literally feel Vivian starting to crave his presence in ways that scare her because he becomes one of the only places where she doesn’t have to hold herself together so tightly all the time. And when the emotional intimacy finally starts settling into something undeniable...

“I wanted everything, every question and answer he had. I’d tell him anything he wanted if he’d just hold me again.”

THAT yearning. The vulnerability of realizing someone has become the place your body and mind want to return to. 🥹🥹🫶🏼

It’s not even just romantic longing at that point. It’s relief. It’s the realization that someone has become a place of comfort and safety for her, and suddenly she wants more than just control and routine and predictability. She wants him. The emotional vulnerability packed into that one moment made my chest hurt a little.

And the thing about Grant is that he never approaches her feelings carelessly. He understands how much of her self-worth has been shaped by other people misunderstanding her, dismissing her, or making her feel difficult to love. So when those insecurities creep in again, he doesn’t give her empty platitudes. He gives her honesty in the exact way she needs it.

“Don’t let a man who didn’t have the capacity to appreciate one of the best things about you pull you down even a second longer.”

I loved this because it perfectly reflects one of my favorite things about Grant: he sees her. Not the polished version. Not the impressive CEO version. Just her. And every time she doubts herself, he responds with honesty instead of empty reassurance. It made every emotional moment feel grounded and sincere.

And by the end? 🥹🥹🥹🥹the book captures that terrifying shift where someone stops just being part of your life and suddenly becomes woven into the way you think entirely.

“I’d lived life—the vast majority of it—without Grant Wilder. But that had been before I’d known he existed.
Now, his existence was all I could think about.”

It captures that overwhelming transition so perfectly. The before and after of loving someone. The realization that technically you survived without them once, but emotionally, that version of your life already feels distant now that you know what it feels like to be seen this fully.

My fav part is that the book continues returning to this idea that truth matters. That real connection cannot exist without emotional honesty, even when honesty is uncomfortable or vulnerable or terrifying. Grant never hides behind games or mixed signals. Even when he’s quieter about his feelings, there’s always this steadiness to him that makes every confession feel incredibly genuine when it finally comes out.

And PLEASEEEE, the text message from him near the end nearly took me out because it was so simple and honest and exactly what she needed to hear. 😭😭 Grant constantly understands that taking care of someone emotionally sometimes means telling them the truth they’re too afraid to believe about themselves. And the fact that he wanted to be someone she could lean on after she spent so long carrying everything alone? I’m emotionally not okay 😭

This whole book just felt warm and thoughtful and quietly romantic in a way that sneaks up on you instead of overwhelming you all at once. It’s not trying to be loud about love. It’s showing how love can slowly rewire the way someone sees themselves. And honestly, that made it hit even harder for me. An easy five stars for me

I really love this author’s writing, and I had fun reading this book, but I was hoping for more feels.

Vivian is the CEO of a revolutionary dating app, while Grant is a journalist known for exposing scams. And he’s now investigating Matchify…

I initially loved the dynamic between Vivian and Grant. The way he practically dared her to set up a profile and start dating was very entertaining. There was a lot of potential there. They had chemistry, and I kept reading, waiting for it to go up in flames, but except for a few sparks here and there, no fire was detected. I needed more accidental touches, covert glances, and hitched breaths 😭

I liked how they both approached the unfortunate low score on the dating app. I loved that Grant didn’t care one bit about it, and how Vivian eventually managed to make sense of it all too.

Overall, a nice story, and I’ll keep reading everything this author writes.😌

No Match Found by Martha Keyes was such a fun read! I loved the witty banter between Vivian and Grant, and their opposites-attract dynamic made this one hard to put down. The romance was sweet and swoony while still keeping things clean, and both characters were so likable. The writing flowed really well, and I found myself smiling through so many of their interactions. If you enjoy closed-door rom-coms with great chemistry and sharp dialogue, this is definitely one to add to your list!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary e-copy. I was not required to leave a positive review, and all thoughts are my own.

As someone who has absolutely ignored dating app compatibility percentages in favor of “but he’s funny,” this book was deeply entertaining to me.

The whole setup is basically catnip for rom-com readers: a woman who built an empire on the belief that love can be calculated, versus a journalist whose entire personality is professionally side-eyeing things. Naturally, they’re allegedly incompatible while very obviously becoming obsessed with each other. Which, scientifically speaking, is my favorite genre of romance.

Vivian was probably my favorite part of the book. I liked that she’s ambitious and analytical without being written as cold or robotic. She genuinely believes in what she built, and the story doesn’t mock her for it. Watching someone so committed to logic slowly realize chemistry doesn’t always cooperate with carefully curated data? Extremely fun.

And Grant has exactly the kind of energy I enjoy in romantic comedies — skeptical, a little annoying on purpose, but clearly intrigued long before he wants to admit it. Their banter felt sharp without trying too hard, and the opposites-attract dynamic worked really well because neither of them completely changes who they are.

I also appreciated that the romance leaned into tension and emotional build-up rather than relying on spice. Since it’s closed-door, the connection really has to come through the dialogue, chemistry, and little moments between them — and for me, it did. The office antics and constant “we absolutely should not like each other this much” energy carried the story nicely.

Also, there’s something objectively hilarious about a matchmaking algorithm basically looking at two people and going: absolutely not. Meanwhile the romantic tension is sitting there in 4K.

Overall, No Match Found feels smart, charming, and very easy to read. A really solid rom-com for people who love witty banter, opposites-attract dynamics, and the deeply satisfying experience of watching emotionally stubborn people prove their own theories wrong.

Thank you Netgalley and Author for an Arc !

If there’s one thing this book had, it was sizzling chemistry ⚡️✨🔥 Goodness, Martha Keyes sure knows how to write some incredible romance! Not only could I feel the high tension between the main characters, but the chemistry was also piping hot and absolute perfection! This is the perfect book for all romance fanatics!

There are so many romance books out there where instant attraction is a key factor in the story, and honestly, I’m sick of it. That’s one reason I found this book to be so refreshing—Martha Keyes made sure that there was more to this story than just attraction. There was genuine depth in this romance, as the characters learned how to be vulnerable with each other. I really enjoyed watching them work to overcome the emotional damage and insecurities from their pasts.

I loved that this book was written in single POV! Anymore, so many books are written in dual POV, and after a while, it gets tiring to constantly see both characters’ thought processes. I like when there’s a little mystery left in the story as to what one of the characters is thinking.

Overall, I found this to be such a fun story! Once I got started with it, it was hard to put it down. The plot line was super unique—I don’t think I’ve ever read anything quite like it before. I think most readers will find themselves really enjoying this book, just like I did. The characters were all very well-written, and I can’t wait to read more in this series!

Workplace romance and opposites attract shine in this super cute romcom. I really enjoyed No Match Found and loved reading it so much.

Vivian is the CEO of Matchify, a tech company that has a matchmaking app that uses probability and stats to match its users. She’s analytical and guarded and no nonsense about love. When a possible investor brings reporter Grant Wilder into her orbit, she never could have predicted just how much he’d shake her perfectly ordered life and how much he’d make her feel.

Grant is also guarded, but his walls are up in a different way. The story is told in single POV from Vivian’s perspective, but done so well you definitely get the vibes for Grant. Even though I didn’t see in his head, it was easy to pick up the way he was falling for Vivian and I was here for it.

This book is not necessarily enemies to lovers, but an opposites-attract-to-compliment-each-other kind of thing. The back and forth/push and pull with them was so good! It had me craving the moment they’d realize they love each other.

Things that will always remind me of this book now include parking garages and maple bars. Oh, and chemistry. Ooo the chemistry.

If you’re in the mood for a sweet contemporary romance, look no further. I recommend this book.

Set at tech startup in the US, Vivian is the CEO of Matchify, a dating app that uses data to match users. Grant Wilder is an investigative reporter connected to a venture capital firm Vivian is hoping will fund the next phase of Matchify. Hoping to win the investment, she agrees to Grant's request to put herself on the app and go on four dates. After each of the first dates, she and Grant debrief over maple bar donuts. Can they get past their prior hurts, professional barriers, and the app's compatibility score for them?

A fun, light read was just what I needed! While I didn't really trust Grant at first, I liked the question a day to get to know him better. Then there was the club scene (!!). They both realistically wrestle with their jobs around growing feelings before finally getting together. I look forward to more in this series!

This rom-com features:
💜 Opposites attract
💜 Having a journalist shadow your first date
💜 Single POV (Vivian)
💜 A question a day
💜 Found family (the five founders of the company)
💜 A women in a male-dominated field (Viv's CEO statistics!)
💜 He sees her for who she really is

Closed door / kissing only

This was a lovely, easy read. The writing is really well done, and there's some great side characters and fun details (like the meeting room names- I love an Office reference).

I loved how Vivian was a strong, ambitious, high flying character. She was analytical without being cold and robotic, so she was still likeable.

I loved the depth of both the relationship and characters. It was a nice break from the typical "instalove" based solely on attraction that we see so often. Grant the MMC, truly sees her as she is and appreciates her for it.

Grant is a likeable MMC, and very respectful. The nightclub scene? Swoon.

My big gripe is that I feel Viv loses some of her strength of character from the halfway point. She becomes quite whiney and repetitive in her inner monologue and it gets old really quickly. Like we get it, you've been hurt and you're scared. It's ok. Ignore the "12%" and stop trying to make Grant change his mind.

How have they not got diabetes after all those donuts..

She does bring it back round though, and we get our sappy HEA. Which let's face it, is what we want in a romcom.

If I were to sum up this book in a sentence, I would say it's a witty, charming, easy read.

I loved this story. It felt real; their connection was great to uncover; I loved taking the journey with Viv of how she discovered the power of chemistry.
Even though I prefer dual POV stories (this was 1st person, single POV), so I can get into the mind of both the MC's, I did have to admit the single POV creates more angst. With this story, we are in Viv's POV, wondering with her, doubting with her, craving when she does, and that created the angst I love in a romance.
I didn't feel like his past got involved that much, maybe because we don't have his POV. But I loved, loved, loved how he turned around a message from her past into something sooooo sweet.

No Match Found by Martha Keyes is a fun and light romcom with a fresh idea about a matchmaking app that uses data to predict love.
Vivian and Grant are complete opposites, she believes in algorithms, while he trusts instinct but their chemistry makes their interactions really enjoyable to read. The banter between them stands out and adds a lot of charm to the story.
The Author’s writing style is simple, easy to read, and relatable, which makes it a very quick and accessible book. It’s the kind of story you can read in one sitting and just enjoy without overthinking.
Overall, a cute, feel-good romance with a fun concept and likable characters.

This one was so fun! Vivian is a serious business woman, with some definite trauma. I love the matchmaking company and the employees. And Grant... is great. So many things to love. Especially watching two very serious closed off people open up to each other and take risks. So much goes into a relationship and the possibility of making one work. And watching these two was so great. Already looking forward to the next in the series!

This was a fun book! It definitely had a unique plot line, and the tension between the two main characters was amazing. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow over time as they were more vulnerable with each other. I believe the author said this is the start of a new series, and this book made me excited for what's coming next!

No match found had great chemistry and I enjoyed the vulnerability Vivian struggled with after being told she was too much. I loved the idea of a book written about a woman who was too smart, too ambitious, too pretty, etc. Society often tells young women this and I’ve always felt it was sad. One should not have to dim their light to be loved.

I loved the storyline. I loved the moments of connection. I loved that at one point, I really wasn’t sure how a good ending could be reached. Martha Keyes had my back though. She gave me that serotonin ending. Loved it!

This is a fun story with well-developed characters. I only read entirely clean books, so while there is no explicit content, the language includes two minor curse words. The plot is engaging, filled with witty banter and strong chemistry that keeps you interested. It features several laugh-out-loud moments and many romantic scenes that make Grant a truly lovable character.

This book is the definition of opposites attract. It was a fun read. I enjoyed the stong female lead and the guy that wasn't scared off by her. I didn't see the conflict at the end of the story coming, but enjoyed watching it play out. I will read more from this author.
