OK. I admit it. I got this book from the library because I had had a big crush on RVS in the early 90's. I was more interested in the "dirty deeds" done by RVS than by the "healing" of their marriage. If you're looking for the "dirt", than you'll be disappointed. (just the usual philandering and drinking). If you're a Christian and are interested in the "healing" part than go ahead and read.

Amazing story of marital faithfulness and Godly trust. Evidence of life struggles, pains and sorrows can never be neglected in anyone's life. God meets you at your breaking point and restores whatever that was broken. He renews what has had been, replaces the lost and revives the 'as-if' forever damned.
