Mara is a Systems and Operations Business Consultant, owning her own business. Her brother Owen asks a favor of her: to help his best friend, Theo, with his business expansion - because she's the best there is in what she does. Problem is, Theo spent the last decade unmercifully teasing and pranking her and they can't be in the same room for five minutes without arguing. Once Mara agrees to help Theo, the story unfolds. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were well defined and totally relatable. There is much history in the family dynamics that the characters have to personally work through, with good, well-written character development. It is an all-around good read.
“Precious Twins for My Brother’s Best Friend” by Charlotte North
-A trope-filled romance with enemies to lovers tension and a fiercely possessive hero. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest takeaway.
Theo and Mara are thrown together through forced proximity, secrets, and surprise twins. Fast, emotional, and satisfying, this story delivers heat, heart, and a solid happy ending. I especially enjoyed the relationship between Mara and her brother Owen.
This was pretty good. I enjoyed the progression of how Mara and Theo's relationship. The only thing that I would have thought Theo would have done is try to get to the bottom of who was stealing a bit faster. At first when they started working together her brother Owen almost made it sound like he thought they'd get up tougher but then later after they did get together, he didn't take it well. But good overall.
Any romance book written by Charlotte is bound to be awesome and she proved that with this book. So, grab your kindle and your favorite spot to read because Theo and Mara are 2 well written characters in this 5/5-star book.
