Rate this book
A spicy, forbidden, MMF small town romantic suspense from USA Today Bestselling Author Persephone Autumn.

I want her. She wants me. And we both want him.

Investigative firm owner Tymber Woulf has little time for anything other than work. But after being nagged by friends to get out more, he joins them for an evening yoga class. “Worst case, if I don’t like yoga, I won’t return.”

Then, she enters the room.

For the first time in over a decade, Hannah Snow is happy. After her father’s shocking decision to send her away at eighteen, loneliness and heartbreak consumed her. She missed her home and family. She missed him.

Now, she is ready to move on.

After one session, Hannah is smitten with Tymber. So when he asks her on a date, she says yes. With their steamy chemistry, Hannah quickly falls for Tymber. But just as she settles into her new life, her past love appears.

Her stepbrother, Atlas.

Tired of the city and negativity, Atlas Thorne uproots his life on a whim, hoping to reconnect with his past. With Hannah. Wanting to surprise her, he keeps the move quiet. When he shows up at her studio, her shock is expected. What Atlas doesn’t anticipate is the man at her side… or his attraction to him.

As Tymber, Hannah, and Atlas spend time together, an unforeseen bond forms between them. A fiery attraction unlike any they’ve experienced. A love and passion to rival all others.

Only not everyone in Stone Bay approves of their new status. Nor does everyone from their past. But it isn’t only the acceptance they need to worry about.

As they fall madly in love, someone aims to tear them apart.

Wow, this why-choose romantic suspense was scortching hot. The spice was off the charts, but the development of their relationship as they navigate obstacles and grow closer to finding their HEA was everything.

I'm new to the Stone Bay series, and though this is book 7 in the series, it was easy to read as a standalone. Persephone Autumn's work was so easy and fun to read. I enjoyed getting to know these amazing characters. I loved that they were all mature characters in their 30's and actually had conversations. There was a sweetness to their dynamic along with the fiery passionate connection between them. I love it when the boyfriends are boyfriends. Though the book was high on the spice, the plot never missed a beat. I was loving the small-town feels.

Some of my favorite moments: yoga class meet-cute, daddy energy, nicknames, forehead kisses, snowed in/playing in the snow, road trip car fun, cook to impress her, sword crossing, protective MMC, acts of service...

Tropes:
Why-choose
MMF (sword crossing)
Stepsiblings
Small-town
Marriage of convenience
Second chance
Snowed in
Forbidden
Taboo
Touch her/him and regret it

Hannah has settled in Stone Bay, started a yoga studio, and is starting to like her life, away from her parents. She may not have her stepbrother Atlas in her life much any longer, but there's a new guy, Tymber, who's making his way sweetly into her heart. She still thinks about Atlas at times, but Tymber's taking up a lot of space in her life. Then Atlas appears again and now the three of them are embarking on something beautiful.

I wasn't prepared for how sweet this trio ended up being. And the heat?! Wow, I may have blushed and needed a fan far more than once. Tymber wasn't jealous when Atlas came into his life, he welcomed him (in more ways than one), and Hannah found her feelings for Atlas had only grown stronger in their time apart. But the best part of this delicious trio is the way they bonded, not just one on one, but as a true unit who loved each other equally.

🌟ARC read🌟

So I’ve never heard of this author before, and I know this is technically part of a series, but the MMF and stepbrother trope immediately sold me. I’ll be honest, I usually pass on covers like this one, but I’m really glad I didn’t this time.

We start with Hannah and Atlas, who become step-siblings and are instantly drawn to each other. Their relationship kicks off very steamy, until his mom catches them. Nothing is said at first, but a week later her dad sends her across the country for college.

Fast forward 13 years and we meet Tymber, who ends up at a yoga class thanks to his friends and meets Hannah, the instructor. They start dating and he is so swoony. They live in Stone Bay, Washington.

Atlas is still in Connecticut, but decides to move closer to Hannah even though they haven’t been close in years. After telling his parents about his new job teaching pole dancing and getting a very negative reaction, he ends up in Oregon.

When Atlas shows up at Hannah’s yoga studio and meets Tymber, there’s an immediate connection between all three of them. I really loved how seamless their dynamic felt. There wasn’t a lot of back and forth or denial about their feelings, which made their relationship feel natural.

I also loved the found family aspect. Tymber’s family was especially great and very accepting of both Hannah and Atlas. On the flip side, when Hannah and Atlas’s parents show up, the judgment and tension from them and the town adds some good conflict. The added characters from previous books were a nice touch too.

Tymber also runs a computer security business with his friend Levi, which brings in a bit of a mystery element. I liked that layer, even though it didn’t fully pay off.

Overall, the spice was definitely there, but I do think the story dragged in places. Some parts felt unnecessary and didn’t really add to the plot. The climax also felt rushed, especially compared to the slower pacing leading up to it. The “bad guy” reveal wasn’t something you could really guess, and one of the cases Tymber was working on didn’t seem to go anywhere.

Still, I really enjoyed the relationship dynamics and the emotional connections between the characters.

This book was thought provoking, intriguing and spicy as all heck.

Tymber, Hannah, and Atlas brought this story to life. They had so much love to share that it would be a crime not to share that love with each other. With hearts big enough to love more than one brought calm and contentment but also brought along judgy towns people and even the ones who should love us no matter what.

Despite Hannah being torn away from her first love, she never stopped thinking about him. Wondering if he was also daydreaming about her, wishing he could hold her and kiss her once again.

Finally finding her place in this world, in the close-knit town of Stone Bay, she was thriving and reclaiming her life. Always under the radar, just being big enough to survive and not draw attention to herself - until one yoga class brought her face to face with someone who stole her breath away. First time since her whirlwind relationship with Atlas has her heart, body and soul felt drawn to another. Not knowing where things will go but needing to try, she finds herself falling hard for the one and only Tymber. I mean, who wouldn't!

Navigating things with Tymber was almost too perfect. That feeling of being right where you need to be with the one person you're to be with was screaming at both of their hearts to run full steam ahead.

Then a blast from the past shows up. It was his plan all along. He was always thinking about her. Always had her at the center of all his plans. Everything he did was to bring him to her. Finally.

Now to have fun and find true love with not one, but two who call your heart home.
The way it just seamlessly worked in the love department was amazing to watch unfold. Wasn't all sunshine and rainbows though. Some wanted to put a stop to it. No matter the way, they would end it. Even if it ended you in the process.

Fiery Storm is LIVE + available to read in Kindle Unlimited & the Libby app!

When I decided to write a book for Tymber (he was a secondary character in Fallen Stars), I intended for a heavier suspense plot line and darker story. But after an exceptionally difficult time in my life, I needed to write a story with more joy and less heaviness. The end result... this super spicy, emotional romance with some suspense. And I love every single moment of it.

Tymber has spent much of his life always looking out for others, now it's his turn to feel the love.

When Hannah appeared in bonus content for a previous book as the new yoga studio owner, I immediately knew she would be a part of Tymber's story. What I didn't realize was that her backstory would be spicy and forbidden and looked down upon by the person who supposedly loves her most. But the moment Hannah's and Atlas's story started to unfold in my mind, I couldn't wait to get it on the page. And damn, what a story it is.

So, if you love MMF (yes, there's sword crossing), forbidden & ta boo, stepsiblings, high spice, touch her or him and I'll end you, and more... get your copy of Fiery Storm now!

Fiery Storm was such a fun, scorching hot read.

This is book 7 in the Stone Bay series, but it worked surprisingly well as a standalone. I hadn’t read the previous books and still got completely pulled into Tymber, Hannah, and Atlas’ story.

What I loved most was that even with all the spice (and trust me… there is plenty), the relationship development never got lost. These three genuinely cared about each other, communicated, and felt emotionally connected alongside all the chemistry. I loved that they were mature characters in their 30s actually acting like adults and having conversations.

The dynamic between them just worked. Tymber’s calm, protective energy, Atlas’ devotion to Hannah, and Hannah finally allowing herself to fully live and love again made everything feel really satisfying. The “boyfriends being boyfriends” vibe absolutely got me.

The small-town setting added so much charm too...nosy townspeople, found family vibes, and that cozy atmosphere mixed with suspense and danger worked really well. There’s definitely some taboo/forbidden tension because of the step-sibling history between Hannah and Atlas, but it fit naturally into the story.

Overall, this was emotional, spicy, sweet, and addictive all at once. A really enjoyable why-choose romantic suspense with strong chemistry, solid relationship development, and enough tension to keep things exciting the whole way through. Definitely recommend if you love small-town poly romance with heat and heart

Fiery Storm by Persephone Autumn, provided via The Author Agency, is an emotionally intense MMF small-town romance that blends forbidden love, romantic suspense, emotional conflict, and strong chemistry into an immersive and compelling read.

The story follows Hannah as she attempts to move forward with her life and build something new for herself. However, everything becomes more complicated when Atlas—her stepbrother and someone deeply connected to her past—unexpectedly reenters her life. At the same time, Tymber’s growing presence adds another emotional layer to the already complicated dynamic between them.

One of the strongest aspects of the story is the emotional tension between all three characters. The attraction, unresolved feelings, and emotional conflict create a constant push and pull that keeps the story engaging throughout.

The MMF relationship dynamic feels emotionally layered because each relationship brings out something different within Hannah. Watching her navigate those feelings while confronting unresolved emotions from her past adds depth to the romance and emotional progression of the story.

The romantic suspense elements also help maintain tension throughout the book while adding higher emotional stakes to the relationships.

Overall, Fiery Storm is a passionate and emotionally engaging romance filled with tension, chemistry, emotional vulnerability, and a satisfying emotional payoff for the characters.

Hannah, Atlas and Tymber 🧎‍♀️ This throuple had me blushing, smirking, giggling and falling head over heels for them 🤭😏 Their chemistry is insanely sizzling and their love so strong 🥹 Thank you so much, Persephone, for this ARC ❤️

Hannah Snow, is a feisty yet sunshine, independant fmc 😍 She is brave and incredibly strong, doesn't back down and fights with everything that she is for herself and her men ❤️😌 She is the soul of their relationship, loves to banter and even more so, loves to explore 😏 Her love for Atlas is as intense as it was when they were younger, and her love for Tymber, burns just as hot 🔥

Atlas is a quiet, intense golden retriever! And it comes out with his girlfriend and boyfriend 🥹 His love for Hannah, surpassed time and every force trying to break them apart. He is dedicated, selfless, obsessed and treasures his people 🥹 Tymber is intense, dominant, sunshine and obsessed with the man and woman who caught his heart and have it 😏 There is nothing this man won't do for them. To keep them safe, happy, protected and their love treasured.

Their dynamic is so beautiful, and had me sobbing with how much they love each other 😍 And don't even get me started on the spice!! Holy fukk, Persephone, 5 chillies 😈 I kicked my feet, blushed and giggled. Your writing and storyline are beautiful and gripping 🥹

I have been a long time read of anything and everything that Ms Persephone Autumn writes and this book just blew me away. The story, the characters and the raw emotions are enough to pull you in and hold you captive forever and a day but it is the words and the way they land in your heart that truly reels you in. Hannah, Tymber and Atlas are the focal point of this story and while I don’t want to give anything away, the fact that they are all brought together and everything with them just falls into place perfectly is a true testament to the author but their journey was not totally a smooth one but they manage to maintain their dignity and ultimately are able to focus on their love and relationship. To say I love this story is an understatement and I will proudly always sing Ms Autumn’s praises for everything she writes.

This was my first time reading this author, and my first book in this series (even though it's book 7). So while there are clearly many characters and couples I hadn't met yet, I didn't feel like I was missing too much context to enjoy Tymber, Hannah, and Atlas' story. Fiery Storm definitely has that small town vibe, with a hint of suspense, and an element of forbidden taboo because Hannah and Atlas are step-siblings.
I'm sure reading the previous books in this series would add even more to my enjoyment of this romance, but even without it, Fiery Storm is a hot ride.

Thank you for gifting me an advanced reader copy. Review reflective of my personal opinions

This is the 7th book in this series, and this is an impressive addition.
Tymber owns an investigative firm, and his friends nag him for go out with them, and he agrees to an evening yoga class, where he meets Hannah. Atlas is Hannah’s stepbrother, and he heads home, hoping to connect with family and Hannah.
Tymber wants Hannah, she wants him, and they both want Atlas!
This is a good story which is easy to read, with family, friendships, emotions, suspense, intrigue, marriage of convenience, touch her / him and die vibes, second chances, and leads to a spicy, enjoyable, and unpredictibale, small town MMF romance.
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Hannah + Atlas + Tymber

Fiery Storm follows the story of Atlas and Hannah... and Tymber. Hannah ends up getting torn away from Atlas.. why you ask? Well, they were 'together' and their parents didn't like it. & honestly, they were step-siblings, didn't grow up together and it wasn't that big of a deal. But with some people it is.. please read the TW before diving into this novel because the town these three end up in is slightly judgemental. Atlas ends up showing up where Hannah lives.. and Hannah has moved on with Tymber.. or has she? She still has feelings for Atlas and doesn't want to compromise on giving up either of them. This beautifully written MMF shows that with communication and open mindedness anything is possible.

really good

This was a great portrayal of the biases people have to deal with in their own communities when they are different in any kind of way. You have the taboo nature of a triad on top of the taboo that there is step siblings in the mix. They navigate being good people and trying to live the life they want while dealing with the discrimination from others.
I love the dynamic they have and fact that with their own personal experiences they have patience and understanding among themselves as they deal with everything being thrown at them.

Thank you Persephone and The Author Agency for a copy of the ebook.

Hannah has moved to Stone Bay to restart her life with her yoga studio. She wanted to get away from her parents but she will miss her stepbrother Atlas. She meets a man named Tymber who she is enjoying spending time with. When Atlas shows up in town it becomes obvious that there are feeling with all 3 of them. Can their triad work or will the community and people that do not understand the love the share break them apart? They had so many HOT moments but the sweet ones were almost just as old.

This was a super spicy why choose romantic suspense and I loved it. This was my first book in the Stone Bay series but it was easy to follow along. The author did a great job with the characters and the plot flowed easily. I loved the sweet dynamic between the trio. Hannah and Atlas had just grown into something more when her father whisked her away. I'm so glad she found Tymber. When Atlas showed up instead of throwing a fit, Tymber welcomed him in. I loved the found family that they found in Tymber's family and they got the love they didn't receive from their own. If you love step-siblings, why choose romantic suspense then you will love this one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

DNF at 52% 💔
I really tried to push through this one, but unfortunately it just wasn’t working for me. I struggled to connect with the FMC and one of the MMCs because both felt a bit flat emotionally. The dialogue lacked depth for me and the constant use of “baby girl” genuinely made my skin crawl by the halfway point.
What surprised me most is that I’ve read and enjoyed this author before, which made this even more disappointing. The tone felt very different from their previous work and the story itself came across choppy and disconnected rather than immersive.

4.5 stars ⭐️ A steamy MMF story of listening to your heart regarding love. Tymber and Hannah meet when he comes into her yoga studio. She’s attracted to him and their relationship continues to build. Then Atlas arrives in town and the history between Altas and Hannah adds a different dynamic to the relationship. The three build a relationship together and there’s plenty of spice! Great development of their romance and love and conquering it together.

Fiery Storm is a story about first love, finding love when you're least expecting it, loving out loud, without regrets, and without worrying about judgy people. There is heartbreak, family drama, intense emotions, and healing. The passion is fiery, but the love burns the brightest. I recommend reading this book!

What an interesting story Ms. Autumn wove!

And steamy…PHEW!

There's history between Hannah and Atlas! One their parents stopped before it went too far!

Tymber comes into Hannah's life and their relationship is strong.

But, what happens when Atlas moves to town?

Could something still be between Atlas and Hannah.
What about Tymber?

Well, seems there may be additional chemistry!
But the town...may not be progressive!

Can they quell the town people's nay saying?
I was rooting for this threesome!

This was good. There was fire, yes, but it was their connection that won me over. It was sweet. And I loved the way they all connected. It was great seeing them so comfortable with one another, and how easily they clicked. The spice was spicing for sure. I was so taken by these three. It was like they were all meant for one another. A really hot and sweet story.

Tymber, Atlas and Hannah fell for each other quick and fast, but you can really see the passion behind them. And the spice was spicy, it was good! I wanted to kobe this book more because it had everything I enjoy in it, but I think so of it dragged and maybe was a little too long. But I loved like the build up suspense of the story and everything that came with that.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book. Communication. Support. Love. COMMUNICATION! These adults care about each other and they want what’s best for the other. There is no pettiness between the 3. No jealousy. No malicious behaviors. Just care and support. They have each other’s backs 24/7 regardless.

It was the kind of book I needed to read at the time and it’ll be one I return to as a comfort read. I appreciate minimal drama between the MCs and when they help each other through tough times that come about due to outside characters or forces outside of their control.

Loved it.

Not so fiery.

Not so fiery. This is much sweeter than I expected. These characters are all so very well adjusted, comfortable with themselves. So much the basis of a strong supportive relationship that it's hard to see outside influence tearing them apart. Though in fiction as in life, not everyone roots for a happy ending.
