She committed a murder, then her mind was wiped to protect those in power.

Rose Craving thought her life was already written.

Be the beloved princess of shifterkind. Be the trophy mate to the Beta who hates her. Be pretty and poised.

Then fate tears through everything she spent her entire life preparing for.

On the night of her transformation, Rose becomes something no one expected — the first female to shift into the elite royal pack — of men. Her mate's pack. The Beta who despises her for a reason he won't disclose.

Rose's existence is a threat to those in power. The closer she gets to the truth of who she is and why Beta Josh Hunter hates her, the more she realizes her world was built on carefully curated lies meant to keep everyone ignorant…and to keep Rose safe from her own past. Meanwhile, something far older and far more dangerous stirs in the shadows. A force that does not care about kingdoms, bloodlines, or duty. Only annihilation.

As Rose and Josh are forced to train, research, and spend quality time together, dark secrets surface and alliances start shifting. Rose knows her mate is keeping things from her and Josh Hunter isn't who the world thinks he is. Rose knows he's powerful and dangerous — she just can't determine if he's a traitor or not, and her feelings are far more complicated than she'd ever admit to him — willingly at least.

The real enemy is at the doorsteps. History is repeating, playing an old game, and nothing is as it seems. Will Rose stay devoted to what she knows to be true or stand beside unexpected allies, betraying her mate, to unlock her memories?

The truth always comes at a cost and some are just meant to be left alone.

I could tell you where I’m from, what I studied, and list a few fun facts, but that’s not really where stories begin, is it?
I write because I’m drawn to the dark, curious, and misunderstood parts of life. The history that lingers after stories are over. The magic hidden in everyday life. The kind of love that feels dangerous because it makes us face our own power.
I write how monsters become monsters, and how the truth isn’t always locked away but buried within us.
My stories live in the in-between: devotion and destruction, longing and loss, beauty and rot. They hold desire that isn’t always tender and sweet, but powerful. Romance that asks you to go deeper—to stay, to learn, to trust even when you’re terrified of where that will lead—because love isn’t always a rescue but it is transformative. And yes—sometimes it’s obsessive, morally gray, and deliciously unhinged.
They’re for readers who want to feel something sharp in their chest and still turn the page anyway.
If you’re here for soft edges and quick, simple answers, you might want to turn away now.
If you’re here for obsession, atmosphere, and romance that refuses to behave, you’re exactly where you belong.
My name is Tasneem Alam, welcome to my world. 🖤

Just finished my ARC of this and loved it! The world has some of your favorite supernatural beings but with its own unique twist. It gives you fated mates but make it enemies to maybe lovers. Plus all the twists and memory manipulation and you are left with one hell of a cliffhanger. Can't wait to finish this when the next book comes out!

**adding an update a few days after reading:This book delves into some serious themes and you go on the journey with the characters while they deal with their trauma. Its raw and very emotional.I am still thinking about Rose and Josh days later. I can't wait to continue on that journey with them and see if they can heal from their past

As Worlds Tilt by Tasneem Alam
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pub Date: OUT NOW!

First off, I want to give a huge thank you to @tasneemalamthewriter for allowing me to be part of your street team & the chance to read your book early.

With that being said, this book completely wrecked me in the best way possible! From the very first chapter, I was pulled into a world filled with power, secrets, and a haunting sense that nothing & no one are what they seem.

Rose is such a compelling heroine. She starts off believing her life is already mapped out for her. Perfect princess, perfect mate, perfect image, but everything unravels in the most explosive way. Watching her step into something entirely unexpected, something forbidden and powerful, was incredible. Her strength doesn’t come easy either. It’s raw, emotional, and hard earned.

And Josh… he is the definition of frustrating perfection. The tension between him and Rose is intense, messy, and honestly so addictive. One minute I wanted to scream at him and in the next breath I needed to understand him. Their relationship is layered with pain, history, and secrets that slowly peel back in a way that keeps you completely hooked.

The plot itself is gripping. Memory loss, hidden truths, political manipulation, and a terrifying force that all weave together seamlessly. Every reveal raises more questions, and the twists caught me off guard. The stakes feel incredibly real. This story is emotional, dark, and full of tension. It’s the kind of book that makes you feel everything from anger, heartbreak, confusion, and hope all at once. By the end, I was left desperate for answers and already counting down until the next book!

If you love powerful heroines, enemies-to-lovers tension, and stories packed with secrets and twists, this one is a must-read!

This review will be purposefully vague because I don’t want to give *anything* away! You need to read it for yourself!

5/5 stars and 3/5 spice

This book is torture in the best way. I have SO MANY theories and questions. I might have to take a page out of the Sires’ book and go to sleep until the next book comes out because HOW am I supposed to function like a productive adult without knowing all the things?

This book is beautiful, heartbreaking, infuriating, and magnificent. I have no other words. I knew the ending of book one was going to wreck me and leave me questioning everything. I am floored. My flabbers are gasted. I don’t know what to think or how to feel right now, but my mind won’t stop with all the theories bouncing around.

I received an advanced copy, and this is my honest review.

Oh my god! This is definitely one of my favorite reads of all time! I desperately need the next book like an addict needs its next fix. This book was over 800 pages long, but it did feel lengthy at all. The book was well paced, the world building was brilliant, and all the twists and turns made for a captivating story. I seriously cannot properly put into words how much I loved this book. Finally, a true enemies to lovers! I will be impatiently waiting to get my hands on the next and final book in this duology.

Arc Read!

Wow.. 🤯 this book was absolutely amazing the story was unlike anything I have read. Rose and Josh a heartbreaking couple.. so much pain so much history so much hate. Rose craves any type of attention from him but Josh hates her.. or he really wants to. In a world of royal shifter families Rose is a princess of one of the oldest bloodlines. But she’s different. Josh a serpent shifter is her divine given mate at birth. But he hates her because of a past she can’t remember.
The emotions in this book are intense.. you never know what twist is on the next page. There are moments that are funny there are moments that make you cry.. Josh is someone I wanted to murder and hug at the same time and Rose is such a strong person and gives him hell through it all.
This book is not for the faint hearted and it’s not for those who are sensitive.. this book is raw this book is spicy and this book is painful. She makes you feel the characters emotions and feelings the Lore and the backgrounds and history are out of this world. I wanted more it wasn’t enough!
Thank you for this amazing opportunity to read your book! Can not wait for book 2!

Shifters, shadows, and secrets!
ARC reader review

I went through every possible emotion reading this book: surprised, sad, mad, relieved, then right back to mad. I even cried! Let’s just say the MMC is a real piece of work, and I am definitely not on the road to forgiveness yet.
As Worlds Tilt (AWT) is a fantastic ride, especially if you enjoy brooding fantasy romances. We follow Rose, a princess with incredible powers whose life looks perfect from the outside. In reality, she’s mated to a man who hates her and is discovering that her entire life is built on lies. As she steps into her power—both physically and mentally—the facade around her begins to crumble.
The world-building is stunning, featuring a rich cast of serpents, wolves, bears, panthers, and witches. The spice is well-written and well paced throughout the story.

Fair warning: If the cheating trope is a dealbreaker for you, be prepared. The MMC is a master of emotional whiplash, and there were several times I wanted to personally harm him—which just means the author did her job perfectly!

Grab this book and enjoy the adventure.
I’m looking forward to book 2!!

Arc review - This was a great debut - I’m not usually into shifter type books but this one had a lot going for it. Without spoiling, the main characters are caught up in a lot of secrets and withheld information in this book and the story really plays into that well. I thought at times there was a lot of dialogue, but overall I thought the pacing was really solid through the book :) if you’re into an array of supernatural creatures in the one book, this one might be for you.

This was a LONG read but 100% worth it. All of the character dynamics are just so good, and they really pull you further into the story. There is so much going on but you get information in such little bits at a time that it doesn’t feel overwhelming. There are a LOT of rather explicit schemes all throughout the book so be prepared for that. It’s just such an intense love/hate relationship happening between Josh and Rose, it’s so easy to fall in love with the story and I cannot wait for the second book to be available.

This book was AMAZING. Seriously, the world building, the emotional depth, the characters, the freaking secrets, just so well done. This book just blew my mind.

The author did an incredible job with immediately throwing you into their world and meeting all of the characters. There’s a lot going on from page 1, and you’re kept in the dark with a lot of it, but also shown things that play a huge part in later sections of the book, and it’s so beautifully woven together to create this complexity that just works, I don’t know how else to explain it.

Rose Craving was just a beautiful character. Her magic powers, her heart, her battles, inner turmoil, all of it, she’s just an amazing FMC. She’s tough, unique, as in the first female to shift into the Warriors, which is all males up until this point. She’s also battling with memory lapses/loss, being a freaking princess, and having a fated mate who, for lack of a better word, can be a total a-hole. The heartbreak and hurt she feels is so intense. Tasneem did a freaking phenomenal job conveying Rose’s emotions so perfectly and in a way that you’re feeling as though you’re experiencing it all yourself.

Josh freaking Hunter, he made me so angry, so sad, but quietly and strongly loved our girl, and gosh darn it, I wanted to punch him sometimes, and then hug him. There were so many secrets between the two of them, so much history, hurt, pain, and betrayal, yet fate has literally forced them together through their mating bond, so there’s a lot of push and pull, angst, anger, longing, and some pretty fun spicy times between the two.

I feel as though I could read this book 7 or 8 times and still not have discovered all of the little hidden secrets Tasneem sneakily drops, keeping us totally in the dark, in the best way! If I had to give it a comparison to something, it gave me modern day Game of Thrones, meets The Originals, meets Reign, with a sprinkle of Gossip Girl in there. It may not make any sense to use all of those comparisons, but those were my feelings. The ending will make you want to scream and you’ll want book two IMMEDIATELY because we need freaking answers! I cannot wait to read the next book in Rose and Josh’s journey, and I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to be an ARC reader.

Found this author through a mutual friend and asked to join the arc team based solely on her IG presence and marketing. The teasers, the tropes, and the visuals this author has presented on her page, sold me - I knew I had to jump in and try this book.

The book delivers on the promised marketing and more!
This dark romance fantasy is also a mystery and it’s RIVETING. The author has curated a sophisticated world of magic while presenting it in a modern aesthetic. You experience ancient and powerful traditions playing out while being immersed in a high energy modern society. This played out like a movie in my head and I’m hooked! I need the sequel NOW

The main players are all part of a shifter/vampire royal hierarchy and follow pack politics. Loyalties are tested and shifting throughout and you never quite know what the end game is, especially for our FMC and MMC.
Fated mates are common in this genre but what about enemies who are fated mates? This mated pair are full of hatred for one another but the divine call is pushing them together - there is nothing beautiful or gentle about this pair - and it’s deliciously messy to watch them battle it out throughout. The dark romance elements mixed with this fantasy world make it so spicy and will have you blushing!

The mystery narrative is addictive and there are times where I truly thought I had lost my mind - but if you aren’t questioning yourself every 50 pages then you are doing it wrong, this story will keep you guessing until the very last page!

I’m so happy I was lucky enough to read this and can’t wait to talk about it to anyone who will listen!

This book will make you feel things - it’s raw. There’s pain and trauma, hate and anguish, spice and longing. I was not ready for this book but I loved how involved the author was with checking in our group chat!

It’s so addictive…the palpable tension. I love a book that makes you sit there for a second and just decompress for a few - it’s definitely going to stick with me for a while and I CANNOT wait for book 2!

The world Tasneem has build is so immersive - you put yourself in the story and live it. Power and loyalty are constantly shifting - the dynamics between families and characters are ever changing and the truth is sometimes never as simple as it seems. Josh hates Rose - fated or not - for something she can’t even remember. Shew…just be prepared for all the feels…you’ll be pulled in and not want to get out!

Thank you to the author and Bones and Belladonna for the early read! All opinions are my own. Soooo excited for this one and to find out what’s coming - I feel like this was just the tip of the iceberg!!

ARC Review

This story pulls you into a world where power, loyalty, and truth are constantly shifting beneath the surface. From the very beginning there’s an undercurrent of tension that never quite lets up, and it only deepens as the story unfolds.

Watching the characters navigate their abilities while dealing with hidden agendas, long-buried secrets, and complicated relationships made for a gripping ride. Just when you start to feel like you understand the dynamics at play, something else shifts and you realize there’s still so much more going on behind the scenes.

The emotional threads in this story really stand out. Hurt, trust, love, and disappointment are all tangled together in a way that feels messy and real, and it adds so much depth to the character journeys.

And that ending… talk about whiplash. The final moments leave you with the distinct feeling that the story is far from over. So many pieces are still in motion, and it’s clear the bigger picture is only just beginning to emerge.

Needless to say, I’m going to be impatiently waiting for the next book because I absolutely need to know what happens next.

ARC review!!!💆🏼‍♀️👸🏼

ok so… I am once again sitting here feeling wildly conflicted 🤡

on one hand, this book has a really intriguing premise. the supernatural world is rich and immersive, with different types of shifters, complex bloodlines, and political dynamics between the houses. there’s betrayal, secrets, enemies-to-lovers tension (🫦🔥) and enough twists to keep you turning the pages. the concept of fated mates and the overall world-building is genuinely fascinating and definitely the book’s strongest aspect.

but on the other hand… the MMC? sir. what are you doing😭🫠 he’s incredibly easy to hate, and not always in the fun morally grey way. the constant belittling of the fmc and his tendency to seek out other women, even while they’re fated mates, gave me a serious case of the ick. if cheating is a trigger for you, consider this your warning, because it plays a significant role in the story.

the fmc, meanwhile, is navigating a whirlwind of emotions, memory loss, and a web of lies from nearly everyone around her. while this adds to the mystery and tension, it can also feel frustrating since so many characters are “protecting” her by keeping secrets. that said, her journey is compelling, and there’s clearly much more to uncover in future installments.

the pacing is another mixed bag. the beginning can feel overwhelming with the sheer number of characters and bloodline details, definitely a moment where you might find yourself flipping back to keep track of who’s who (but that’s like baseline for every fantasy book at this point). however, once the story finds its footing, it becomes much more engaging. I do think the book could have benefited from being slightly shorter, as some sections felt drawn out.

despite these frustrations, the story remains addictive. the world is captivating, the characters have hidden depths yet to be explored, and the numerous twists and betrayals leave you with more questions than answers. it’s very much a setup for the rest of the series, and I’m genuinely curious to see where the story goes next.

overall, a compelling and immersive start to a supernatural romance series with strong world-building and intense emotional stakes, though the mmc’s behavior and pacing issues may not work for everyone. I’m intrigued enough to continue with book two 👸🏼💅🏼🤷🏼‍♀️

As Worlds Tilt has completely blown my mind! The ending left me thinking of the taunt from A Knight's Tale....
"You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting."

There are still so many questions left unanswered! I am definitely found wanting, Rose's story doesn't end here by any means and I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next. Tasneem Alam has written the most spellbinding tale that twists and turns so often it's left me in pieces.

My heart has literally ached & broken for Rose over and over again. The world-building, the detail, the intricate way everything intertwines right to the very end is magnificent.

This is the most fractured and dark love story you'll ever read and you won't regret it.

As World Tilt is a true dark romance/emenies to lover, fated mates, with historical & magical elememts, elegant plots and immersive world building. There are intricate family trees for the six houses provided to follow along with all the gorgeous family names. Rose Craving is one of my new favorite main female characters because she faces danger with her head high and she is incredibly powerful. She becomes the very first woman Warrior Shifter. She is also mated to the Beta, Josh, also a Shifter Warrior. Josh can be hard to love, but harder to hate. Their Divine connection is intense and becomes a dark depth of yearning that can no long be resisted. There a an untold truth that is Craving to be unleashed. Memories are erased, histories are being spun, and there is an element of sacred female rage that ripples acorss the pages. Just when you think you know whats going to happen, the world tilts. This book will have you giggling, lusting, yelling, crying, and yearning for more.

Okay… this book had me in an absolute chokehold.

From the very beginning I was hooked. The story is so dynamic and creative and honestly felt really fresh compared to a lot of books in this genre. It has this really interesting blend of modern world elements mixed with fantasy, which made everything feel more relatable and immersive. Things like reputation, appearances, and even social dynamics felt very current, but layered into a powerful shifter fantasy world. It was such a unique way to tell this kind of story and it worked so well.

And let’s talk about Rose and Josh for a second because WOW. This is the true definition of enemies to lovers and the slow burn was so good. Their relationship literally had me thinking of the Katy Perry song Hot and Cold the entire time because that is exactly what their dynamic felt like. One moment they are clashing, the next moment you feel the tension shifting, and you genuinely never know what their next interaction is going to bring. It keeps you on edge in the best way.

The emotional depth of this story really stood out to me. You could truly feel the pain, the history, and the complicated emotions between these characters. Their past together, the trauma they both carry, and the misunderstandings between them make their dynamic intense but also very understandable. Even when they were frustrating each other, I could still see where both of them were coming from.

There are definitely some heavy moments and difficult themes explored in this story, but it was written in a way where you could process it alongside the characters. You really start to understand why they act the way they do and how their past shaped them.

I also loved the forced proximity elements and how their history together slowly unfolds. Watching them go from tension and resentment to something far more complicated and emotional was incredibly addictive to read.

The plot itself kept me completely engaged with twists, secrets, and reveals that made the story feel layered and unpredictable. Every time I thought I understood what was happening, something new would unfold.

Overall I absolutely loved this book. It was emotional, intense, creative, and so hard to put down. If you love enemies to lovers, slow burn tension, complicated characters with real history, and fantasy worlds that feel modern and immersive, this is definitely one to pick up. I already need to see what happens next.

I love the uniqueness of this storyline. The story captures you from page one and does not let you go throughout the entire story. It’s such a different take on shifter universe and I think anyone who reads it will love it. You have fated mates, but one moment the FMC cannot even remember makes them enemies! The tension, the banter, the STEAM!!! 🤤🤤🤤 The world building is amazing and the plot twist will have you at the edge of your seat. It does end on one hell of a cliffhanger and I am patiently (not) waiting on the next book.

WOW. What a book. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster with Rose, who experiences her own emotional whiplash left and right as she navigates earth shattering information, her volatile relationship with Josh, and coming into her own.

This book had me hanging onto every word — it was well-paced, plot-thickening, and intriguing. The author’s innate writing quality really shines. As a debut novel, I was blown away! I’ve read early publications of well-known authors that took years to really reach this level, and Tasneem Alam is already there with even more room to grow into her talent! While not a perfect book (those don’t exist?), it was INCREDIBLE and I am so excited to be part of the early readers of this author and her work.

Is it fantasy/paranormal with some dark romance? Yes. But is it ORIGINAL? Yes!!! It is so refreshing to not see the same tropes played out the same predictable way. Enemies to lovers? These people are ACTUAL ENEMIES!! Shifter romance? Not in the ways you think! The politics? Original for sure. A bit confusing with a lot of people and terminology involved, which is probably my only real “critique” but it is a small one. It isn’t imperative to remember everyone and their roles all the time (brings me back to CC1/HOEAB).

The plot?? Woooooow. Literally kept me hanging on!!! I had lots of theories and guesses and while some were right or very close to right, it’s still very hard to get it on the money when trying to connect the dots. The characters relationships are believable and dynamic. The behind the scenes shenanigans happening make you want to investigate. The maddening push and pull and will they/won’t they that Josh and Rose has also makes me want to rip my hair out but squeal with delight. (Although I need Josh Hunter to suffer in this next book — justice for my girl Rose).

All around such a good book and I hope it blows up!! Cannot wait for the next one!!! The ending is such a cliffhanger, so beware!!!

ARC Review

I’ll admit, I was initially a little intimidated by the length of this book, but once I started, I absolutely devoured it - in six days! I was hard pressed to put down.

One thing I highly recommend to future readers is reading the author’s note at the beginning of the book. I read it at the end and it ended up answering so many questions I had been carrying with me throughout the story but had I known the author’s intent it may have added an even richer layer to the experience, if that’s even possible!

This book took me on a complete emotional roller coaster. I felt everything while reading it—laughter, anguish, frustration, bewilderment—and yes, I cried. The emotions, both beautiful and painful, truly come through the pages in a way that makes the story feel deeply immersive. At times it was pure emotional whiplash, but in the best way.

The fantasy elements and magic system were relatively easy to follow, especially as the story progressed. That said, I do wish the first couple of chapters had offered a bit more detail, particularly regarding the shifter community and its hierarchy, as I found myself wanting a clearer understanding early on.

This story has everything: betrayal, deception, cruel and complex characters, meaningful character growth, and that delicious sense of confusion as you try to piece together what is really going on. It keeps you guessing and emotionally invested from beginning to end.

And now I need the second book in this duology - like yesterday. The moment I finished, I wanted the next one immediately, and the fact that it isn’t out yet feels almost cruel.

🌹This read broke my scale!🌹

The thing I love most about an author is the amount of dedication, hard work, and passion they put into their projects, and As Worlds Tilt shows exactly that. Tasneem Alam has poured her entire soul into this, and you can feel it on every single page.

The world-building is absolutely incredible. It’s immersive, vivid, and so well-constructed that you feel like you’re standing right there in the middle of the chaos.

What blew me away was the character work. The amount of characters she brings to life—and is able to keep every single one differentiated with their own unique traits without ever getting them mixed up— leaves me in total awe. Each person feels like a real, breathing soul with their own distinct voice.

And the storyline? It is just EXQUISITE.

Even though this is a dark fantasy read, there are so many relatable aspects that you feel deep in your soul and connect with whole-heartedly.

This book truly made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me so frustrated, I wanted to scream. It gave me emotional and mental whiplash that I haven’t experienced in a long time, if ever. I’ve read books that "emotionally wreck" you, but this book itself emotionally and mentally destroyed me.

And the way it ends?! I AM NOT OKAY! 😭 The fact that I have to continue on about my days until book two comes out is literal torture. I really need to find some closure—especially for a specific mating bond in this book. 😫

This book, this world broke my rating scale. This surpasses five stars. Six stars. Hell even ten stars. Its unlimited.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Rose & Josh’s mate bond snapped into place the day she was born, but six years ago a tragic incident changed the trajectory of their relationship. Josh has hated Rose for years, for events she can’t even remember, and she has had to suffer watching him give attention to basically every other woman but her. On the night of her 18th birthday, Rose completes her first shift and emerges as the first female to ever shift into an elite royal pack of Warriors, one that Josh is also a member of. Between their mating bond constantly tugging them closer and Rose’s training as a Warrior, we have some AMAZING forced proximity & angst. 🤤

Rose is constantly fighting to regain her memories and have a better understanding of Josh’s feelings towards her, but there is more at play and bigger secrets being kept in her stolen memories than she could ever imagine.

Once I started this book I could NOT put it down. The DRAMA and the tension between Rose & Josh was delicious. I know the constant push and pull between main characters is not for everyone, but IT. IS. FOR. ME. 👏🏻 The way these two hate each other but YEARN for each other was 👩🏻‍🍳💋

This book delivered shifters of all kinds, vampires and witches and demons, oh my! In an urban fantasy setting that felt fresh. Now I am dyingggg for the next book! 😭

What to expect when reading:

Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I’m honestly still reeling after finishing As Worlds Tilt—this book completely pulled me under and refused to let go.

First off, Josh and Rose? Absolutely everything. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic had me hooked from the start, and the chemistry between them was just chef’s kiss. It’s the kind of tension that simmers and snaps and keeps you flipping pages way past when you should’ve gone to sleep. And yes—the spice did not disappoint. It felt earned, intense, and perfectly woven into the story rather than just thrown in.

What really blew my mind, though, was the worldbuilding. The different realms, the variety of characters, the way everything connects—it’s one of those books where you keep pausing just to process how expansive it all feels. Every new layer added something exciting and unexpected.

And don’t even get me started on the twists. I was genuinely shook. Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story flipped everything upside down again. The secrets, the reveals… I’m still thinking about them.

That ending, though?? Cruel. I am fully left hanging and already desperate for the next book. I need answers, I need more Josh and Rose, and I need to know where this wild story is heading next.

If you love high-stakes romance, messy complicated characters, and a plot that keeps you guessing, this one is 100% worth the read. I was completely gripped from start to finish.

4.5 stars but rounded up!

Tasneem has built an unforgettable and incredibly attractive world that knows how to get the reader addicted. This is obvious from page 1 where we are introduced to a mysterious and beautiful FMC, Rose.

There is an art to creating romantic tension in fiction, and it is clear that Tasneem is ready to deliver from the first chapter until the last. The interactions between Josh and Rose often left me desiring more, and at times, conflicted. I swayed from love and hate, much like the characters themselves, all the while blissfully drowning in her world's details, culture and glamor.

It is evident from the start what Tasneem wants show us. Not only does she create this intoxicating atmosphere of longing and tension, but she also isn’t afraid to lean into the messiness of human emotion. The characters feel real in their contradictions, flaws, and desires, which made it impossible for me to stop thinking about her world.

By the end, I was completely immersed. If you’re looking for a story that pulls you in with its romance, keeps you hooked with its tension, and leaves you thinking about it long after, this one absolutely delivers. There are many unanswered questions and I can't wait to read the next installment!

ARC REVIEW

As Worlds Tilt absolutely blew me away.

From the very first pages, the story pulls you into a world that feels immersive, intense, and emotionally charged. But what truly makes this book unforgettable is the relationship between Josh and Rose. Their dynamic is equal parts captivating and infuriating in the best possible way. You’ll find yourself wanting to shake them one moment and rooting for them with your whole heart the next. Every interaction between them is loaded with tension, emotion, and unresolved feelings that make it impossible to stop reading.

The pacing keeps you hooked, but it’s the emotional push and pull that really drives the story. Just when you think you understand where things are heading, the book takes you somewhere completely unexpected.

And that ending? Absolutely insane. The kind of ending that leaves you staring at the last page in shock, immediately wishing the sequel was already in your hands.

I cannot wait for the second book. If the first is any indication, this series is going to be something special.

This is a good story line and the characters I think are well developed. I loved the world, the different types of shifters, the over all super natural world created here. It’s absolutely amazing. The characters have depths that still aren’t fully uncovered so there’s plenty to still learn and keep you wanting more. The spice is THERE. The hate to love you behavior of enemies to lovers is there and you just want to punch the MMC sometimes but in the best way.

However I did hate how everyone was essentially hiding and lying to the FMC to “protect her”. Her mate continues to belittle and cheat on her with an obscene amount of females. Cheating should be listed as a trigger here and it’s not one of the listed triggers. It’s not an open relationship but him actively trying to replace her and being with other females against the mating bond. While they weren’t technically together because he loves to hate her they were still fated mates. That was such a huge part of the book too, so if cheating is one of your irks even with a well written story this wouldn’t be a book for you.

I bothered me but the story is very strong, the characters are very well written and I want to know how it ends! There’s twists and turns and BETRAYALS along the way. I am looking forward to book two.

Received as an ARC from author prior to release.

This book was a beast (in a good way)! I received an ARC and I binged the entire thing in 48 hours. The world building, the enemies to lovers, the banter, the history, the lore, etc. I’m obsessed with this world! Similar to Rose, I have a love hate relationship with Josh. Daniel and Eliza are my faves and I’ve decided if I had to pick a house, I would love to be in House Craving or House Claws. I’m convinced I would be a Crescent I’m just saying.

Anyway, let’s get to the story. Rose is a special kind of princess. She’s mated to the Beta, Josh, in an unusual way. She’s destined to become the Veyara, but there’s a lot on the horizon. Everyone has secrets. She’s pretty sure her Mate hates her, even though he’s not her favorite person either. I was fully immersed from cover to cover. There’s magic, powers, shifting…oh my!

This book was everything I didn’t know I needed in a romantasy book!

Omg what to say about this book there so much ! First off if you think “oh another shifter book!”…SO SO wrong, this book has a whole new look for shifters there houses there abilities! Trust me it’s insane world building … Rose is sweet but strong MFC her powers will blow your mind she is Josh’s Veyara whether he likes it or not 🤦‍♀️🤣.Then we have Josh oh Josh oh powerful stupidly handsome Beta Warrior but the trauma and grief this man carries we all think we can fix him after we punch him in the face 🤣 did I mention the smoking hot blonde Vampire prince Liam!!!!!!! who’s NEARLY a 1000 years old … every character has a purpose the book keeps you on your toes but also the spice is spicing I mean OMG I was flustered and LOVING it! It does end on a cliff hanger but I don’t even care I’m already desperate for book 2

ARC read:

This was a very unique, complex tale with intricate world building. The main characters Rose and Josh were well developed, interesting and rather unique. Their relationship is tumultuous and twisted and they are definitely enemies to lovers but while still being enemies. The trauma this couple has been through is very extensive and it shapes how they see the world and each other. Rose is a princess in the Royal Craven line and Josh is the Beta from the Hunter line.

The book features multiple shifter types including wolves, eagles, bears, assorted felines, and serpentine shifters. Vampires and witches also are prominent in this story. The way they interact and how they govern themselves was appealing.

All that said I felt like at times the story was drawn out a little too much. Some of the details were overdone and it made the book a somewhat slow read. I feel like the book was about 100 pages too long. That being said I still very much enjoyed it and recommend it. I would definitely check the trigger warnings before reading as this book has darker themes including manipulation, mind control, memory loss, death etc.

5 stars Holy damn. This book was such an emotional roller coaster. From everyone lying and keeping things from Rose just to protect her. To getting cheated on by her Mate who wanted to find another mate for himself This story is full of supernatural creatures. There was so much to follow along with in this story from page one and the world building and many twists that you didn’t see coming. And when you think you have everything figured out, you actually really don’t because more twists arise. To different realms and a cliffhanger that will have me thinking about for a while. Very cruel mind you. Haha. This book has left me emotionally wrecked. I have so many questions and can’t wait till book two so they can be answered.

Thank you to the Author for the opportunity to read As Wods Tilt. I can’t wait for more on Rose and Josh’s story.
