4.5/5 Star rating!! Sparkle and her cousin had me cackling. There's so much I was want to say and highlight about this story, because I didn't want it to end, but I dont want to spoil it. I wanted a little bit more of Sparkle's story, because it played out like a movie as I read it. Which makes me think, I never thought that there could be a more modern remake of Deliver Us from Eva, but Tee is on to something good.

Our girl does it again! I really enjoyed this quick, witty, and fun read. A perfect addition to your Valentine’s Day line up! The MMC is giving Shemar Moore and Jesse Williams 😏 The spice remained tasteful and well timed. Loved Porsche and hope we get to learn her love story one day! Definitely read this one ☺️

just okay

This book was alright. Pretty fast paced. I didn’t particularly feel the chemistry between the two.

The tenses changed from the prologue to chapter one. So that threw me off. The dialogue was incorrectly formatted. Quite a few grammatical errors.

This book was a true testament not to take life so seriously. Don't get ya panties in a bunch. Live a little and laugh while you're at it!!!. Sometimes we worry about the wrong thing, when the right thing is right in front of ya. no shade. I will be watching Deliver Us From Eva soon cause how could I not after reading this lol.

Porsche gave me a good laugh. I love me a good ROD character.

“Never settle. Not in friendship, not in love.”

If you are looking for a corny but, cute romcom novella for your TBR then, this may be the book for you.

-“Deliver us from Eva” vibes
-plus size, late 30s FMC, Sparkle
-light spice
-Valentine’s Day vibes
-timeline jumps
-dual POV
-healing & growth narrative

The MMC Ernest was a sweet guy. He moved how anyone would if they could get a chance to bag their childhood crush.
My favorite character was Sparkle’s lesbian cousin, Porsche. She was funny, relatable & honest. The comedic relief from this character added to my enjoyment of the story.

Overall, this was an easy, straight to the point storyline.

(Note: If you are someone who minds grammatical, spelling or punctuation errors then, this may not be the novella for you.)

Never underestimate True/Real Love!

This novel, “Delivered us from Sparkle,” is one of the best romance, comedy, and LOVE Story ever! I love this book. Love hurts when it’s not real but when it’s True-Real Love, it’s amazingly Beautiful. Tee Unique, you but your foot, heart, backbone, etc. into this book and I love it. Job well done. Always believe True love does exist. No when it’s there and don’t let it pass you bye!❤️

First and foremost I just wanna say I’m super slow for not catching the reference of the title immediately. Secondly, this was such a cute and cozy read. I definitely caught myself giggling so much through this book. If you’re looking for a cozy, feel good black love book, this the one!
