"I would do anything for you, Granger, kill, maim, destroy anything or anyone, if you desired it. What is it you desire, Granger?" he purred.
"I want you to kiss me."
The request was simple enough, the words spoken softly and plaintively. Draco blinked, the smile on his lips still present, but he hesitated.
"What would it mean if I did that, Granger?" he whispered.
"I don't know. It might mean that my heart would finally shatter, or it might mean that my heart could learn to heal…" she whispered in reply, slowly moving her eyes to Draco.
"Just… just kiss me?"

Ianthewaiting stories seem to always be an adventure. Draco's power-driven lifestyle really makes me pause for concern and I seem to have a love/hate relationship with this story lol.

Given the age of this work, and all of the Star Trek, Star Wars, Dune, etc. works of recent science fiction, this book seems quite dated. Probably explains why it isn’t read much anymore.
