What if your last chance at life depended on learning one final lesson?

In " Another Life Lesson" , a beautifully written magical realism novel for adults, readers are taken on an emotional journey filled with guardian angels, past lives, friendship, grief, healing, and hope.

Celeste , a Guardian Angel (in training), is simply trying to do her best. She’s desperate to help Norah, her first assigned Soul, learn her final Life Lesson. A Soul only gets twenty-five lives, after all, and, well, Norah is on her twenty-fifth. If Norah never learns her final Lesson, she won’t move on to the afterlife. And Celeste cannot let that happen. When the Council denies Celeste the chance to go down to Earth and shake Norah out of her slump, she does what any great Guadian-in-training would: She defies their orders and goes anyway.

Norah has been on a downward spiral ever since her best friend Sam passed away, but when she meets an unusual new friend named Celeste, Norah finds herself stepping out of her comfort zone. Until she starts to see her past lives.

Celeste must figure out why—without divulging who she really is to Norah. Only, it doesn’t take long for Norah to discover that Celeste may not be who she seems...

A heartwarming tale of friendship, loss, and love that explores the heaviness of grief and how powerful our relationships with others can be. All with a touch of (angel) magic.

I dare you to try and put this magically heartwarming book down! Perfect for any individual or book club with wonder in their souls!

I immediately fell in love with Celeste & Norah as much for their misguided neurotic similarities as their quirky and strong willed differences. These two lost souls seem to compliment each other perfectly and the connection they share seems to make one another whole.

In addition a community of fun, supportive and sometimes mischievous characters make this a must read for anyone with even a hint of wonder in their mind, heart or soul.

With the intrigue & psyche of “The Afterlife Therapist” and the marvelous beauty of “What Dreams May Come”, when you finish this book you will feel as if you have truly learned Another Life Lesson…

I had the absolute time of my life reading this heartwarming story by Michelle Campbell! Seriously, when I say heartwarming—I mean it.

Celeste, a guardian angel, has the most genuine and loving relationship with her assigned Soul, Norah. She is bright, charming, and caring to her core. I would read 400 pages of Celeste just saying sweet things.

And Norah is incredibly relatable, having gone through many hard times in her life. She never comes off as whiny but instead real and HUMAN. Through her eyes, you get to explore what it means to be flawed and yet still capable and deserving of love.

The author’s skill at writing grief and heartache in a way that is understandable and light is phenomenal. I was rooting for our characters and slowly watching them heal, and it was so beautiful to witness.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone in search of a joyful, unique story full of heart—and a touch of magic. 5/5, do yourselves a favor and get your copy!

The most charming book I’ve read in a while. I love the bubbly, light-hearted Celeste chapters balanced with the raw, grounded Norah chapters.

I started this book just having fun with the concept—guardian angels, past lives, etc.—but Norah’s story quickly drew me in. The emotions explored in her story were heavy at times, but the author does a great job at using those emotions to expand Norah’s character and make her flawed and human and relatable.

On the flip side, just about every line of dialogue from Celeste made me laugh, and I loved everything about her. She really helped keep the story light-hearted when it was needed!

For such a character-focused book, there were some clever plot twists that completely caught me by surprise. Such a fun story layered with wisdom and love. A must read!!

Either I’m not looking hard enough, or there aren’t many fiction books that explore the idea of past lives, so I really love the originality of Another Life Lesson! At its core, this is a love story to those we’ve lost, to those we find, and, maybe most importantly, to ourselves.

Campbell’s exploration of grief felt very honest. There’s no pandering—just the acceptance that grief isn’t something that can be ignored or fixed, but rather just is. That part of the story resonated the most to me.

I adored Celeste and Norah’s friendship. They both jumped from the page in their own ways and I think the author did an amazing job at making their voices distinct, which isn’t always easy to do!

Definitely check this book out.

P.S. I LOVE the cover. It’s stunning and is so reflective of the heart of the story.

Another Life Lesson by Michelle Campbell is an inspiring and thought-provoking read. The story is full of relatable experiences and valuable insights that make you reflect on life, choices, and growth.

I really enjoyed how the author weaves life lessons into the narrative without it feeling preachy — it’s engaging, heartfelt, and easy to connect with.

A meaningful read that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a story that combines wisdom with emotion.
