"Where there’s hope, there’s survival, and where there’s love, there’s selflessness."

And then... Speed Demons was over.
I have no words to describe what this whole series has meant to me. From beginning to end, Caitlyn gave us a look into the real and dark parts of herself.

This whole series was a homage to women. The ones fighting for their place in the world. The women working their asses off to be accepted in places they're not always welcomed in. And what a way it was portrayed.

Finish Line wraps up Callum and Aurélie's story in such a beautiful way. After all they went through for 4 books, we finally get to be part of their happy ending.

Their journey was heartbreaking, devastating, and incredibly inspiring. Their love for each other was otherworldly and their found family gave me chills.

Caitlyn, thank you for sharing your craft with us. For creating a world we all could escape to, during the hard moments in life. For portraying a FMC that is an absolute badass and who doesn't apologize for being who she is. For creating a love story that is real and raw. But most of all, thank you for who you are and creating a beautiful space that lives outside of these pages. This series will always mean a lot to me; not just because of its words, but because of what it's brought me outside of that.

You are amazing and a force to be reckoned with. Congrats on finishing a beautiful series. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you.

“Since Spa,” he whispered. “Since the first time I saw you and knew the world was about to change.”

This was absolutely fantastic! This whole series has been so beautiful and emotional, and this was no different and was such a perfect way to end the series. I absolutely adore Aurélie and Callum and everything about their relationship and their arcs both individually and as a couple. I also love the found family in this series, Ivy, Marco, Kimi, and Lucy are all such great characters, and I adore them. This series is just so incredibly special, from how incredibly connected you feel to the characters to how emotionally impactful it is to how the spice is both incredibly hot and incredibly emotional at the same time and everything in-between. I just truly don't think I can express enough how much of a masterpiece this series is or how fantastic of a writer Caitlyn is, but EVERYONE needs to read this series!

A Final Lap That Felt Complete

This one was bittersweet in the best way. I was so excited to see how this series ended, but also never wanted it to end at all. Cait truly delivered an ending that felt complete and deeply satisfying without feeling rushed or forced.

There was something I fully expected to be part of their HEA based on earlier books that didn’t happen (at least not here), and honestly, that choice made the story feel so real. It wasn’t included just for the sake of a romance checklist. It reflected a part of life that so many people experience but rarely see represented, and that hit close to home for me. It made me feel seen in a quiet, powerful way.

As an F1 girlie, I’ve always loved how detailed Cait is with the racing world, but this book felt more focused on Auri and Cal outside of it. Only about the last 15% really centered on the end-of-season races, and I was completely okay with that. The previous four books gave us plenty of track time. This one gave us closure. And for their love story, that balance felt perfect.

I also loved how this wrapped while clearly setting the stage for future spin-offs. The grid gremlins were everything, and I’m already invested in the other two hinted relationships. This felt like a true finish line for Auri and Cal, while still leaving the door wide open for what’s next.

A beautiful, grounded, emotionally honest ending to a series I didn’t want to say goodbye to.

CAITLYN. TAJON.

I genuinely can’t express what this series has meant to me. You have changed the game with this series. This has become my obsession, I’ve been feral with you, I’ve been cheered on, supported, and given the opportunity to make so many posts screaming about this series.

Callum and Aurèlie are rare. They love each other fiercely, they fight for what matters, and they show UP every day. Choosing each other. And who doesn’t love an Oat Milk Daddy?

Whether they’re on the track, in the country, in Monaco, or Greece, as long as they’re together, they’re home.

I genuinely loved the addition of Lucy. She is such an incredible character, and it was so good to see Kimi get loved on. Her song had me sobbing.

Ivy is such a spitfire. The Brit in her really came out swinging this time. The leak was perfection. The way she stands up for Auri and shows her time and time again that she’s not broken truly had me tearing up. And the SPEECH.😭

Marco. That man. He is an incredible teammate, friend, protector, and he would lay out his life for any one of them. Including showing his tattoos to get the paps off Auri. His reality show analogy had me cackling.

Colette was a beautiful addition. Her love and support for Auri, and the way she was a grounding force and a piece of home for the vineyard was beautiful.

Cait i just simply don’t want to believe this series is over. I’m heartbroken. But simply so damn proud of you. You’ve done it. You did what you set out to do, and did it SO damn well. I can’t put into words how much i loved this book. But hopefully this is a start.

Calamari for life🦑

A sweet finale for a series full of drama, resilience and love.

I really liked how Auri and Cal's found their HEA after all the battles they had to fight since 'Overdrive'. Their story is beautiful and very emotional. This was the wedding I was waiting to happen and it was way more beautiful and unique that I was expecting it would be.

The dynamic with their friends, their found family is so refreshing to read. Marco is definitely my favorite of the group.

Now, as for the racing part and their fight against the FIA, even when every unsolved issue was answered, everything happened so fast. Was it bad? No, cause I get it, this book was more focused on their love story, which, after everything they went through, they totally deserved it. But still, I wish it would've had a little more pages about their races and the whole F1 drama.

Evaluating the complete series, Caitlyn delivered such a beautiful work here that made me believe in that unconditional love.

I’m sat here, left in tears. Over the past five books, I’ve fallen in love with all the grid gremlins- Callum and Aurélie, Marco and Ivy, Kimi and Lucy. Their found family? It’s everything. And Finish Line tied the perfect bow on their story. (for now… I need Marco and Ivy!!)

I’m not entirely sure where to start, or how to even put my thoughts into words, but I’ll do my best. Speed Demons, while yes - it’s a romance, it’s so much more than that. This series covers themes of identity, belonging, familial strife, self-doubt, mental health, reproductive health, gender inequality in sports, healing, strength, friendship, and ultimately- love.

Caitlyn, it has been such an honor to read- what is essentially- your soul on paper. Your blood, sweat, and tears. Thank you for bringing this series into the world. Your writing is so authentically you, and I absolutely love your writing style. I can close my eyes and picture the scene laid out in front of me. The quiet anxiety of a tight race. The champagne spraying on the podium. The tide of the Aegean Sea. Finish Line did such a good job of tying up the loose ends from the previous story lines and giving us a happily ever after for Cal and Auri. It’s rare for me to cry happy tears, but to see them experience such bliss and joy, to see how their love had strengthened them as individuals and as a couple was so amazing. The epilogues? I sobbed.

Cheers to this chapter of Speed Demons closing, and I think we are all clamoring to see what you have up your sleeve next 😉. Racing 101. Commit to your line.

So many mixed emotions with this review! I am so freaking sad this story has finally come to an end. Auri & Callum stole my heart very early on in book one and I continued to fall even more in love with them, their story, their Gremlin group, the ups, the downs, and everything in between. So starting the final book was so bittersweet. I was so anxious to see how their story ended, but also so upset because I was not ready for that universe to come to an end.

And Cait did not disappoint. Finish Line was EVERYTHING it needed to be and more. Watching them finally get their happily ever after was so beautiful. Those weeks they spent in Milo were steamy, hilarious (especially once the Gremlins showed up), and the true definition of a fairy tale. I have never laughed so hard throughout an entire book while also balling my dang eyes out. The emotions were so raw and so pure that you felt them to your core. And it takes so much skill for a writer to be able to capture that. But Cait does it effortlessly.

And the ending!!? SOBBING happy tears. It was the literal perfect ending to the most incredible series out there.

Book Review: ♾️⭐️

Finish Line is the fifth and final book in the Speed Demons series featuring Callum Fraser & Aurélie Dubois. This is a five part continuous series and needs to be read in order for optimal reading!

This book picks up directly where Red Flagged ended and the spice begins right out of the gate! I really don’t want to give away anything from this book or series because I think you need to read it ASAP!

Callum & Aurelie have been through so much throughout this entire series and getting to see everything come full circle is truly remarkable. Caitlyn seriously blew me away with this series and I fell madly in love with these characters and this world.

This series both broke me and healed me in so many ways and it honestly takes extreme talent for an author to accomplish that. I enjoyed every minute of this journey and I cannot wait to see what Caitlyn gifts us next !

If you haven’t started this series yet, I highly encourage you to do so now that it’s complete and please report back on your journey! Congratulations Caitlyn on this fantastic series!

This was a bittersweet but incredibly satisfying conclusion to a series I’ve loved from the very beginning.

What stood out most was how intentional this ending felt. Instead of leaning heavily into nonstop racing, the focus stayed on Auri and Cal — their growth, their love, and the life they’re choosing together. It felt realistic, emotionally grounded, and deeply rewarding after everything they’ve been through since Overdrive.

I also appreciated the choices made within their HEA. Not everything was predictable, and that made the story feel more honest and meaningful rather than following a romance checklist. The found family moments were strong, the closure felt earned, and the emotional beats landed beautifully.

This truly felt like a finish line for Auri and Cal — while still leaving the door open for future stories in this world. A heartfelt, well-balanced finale that made saying goodbye very hard.

Auri and Cal are at the Finish Line and this one made me laugh, cry and feel everything. I am so sad that this series is over but seeing our favorite couple get what they want makes so happy for them. I've loved this couple from the beginning and each book gets better. Starting right after the last book ended, and and the ups and down, but also keeping some stuff private until our favorite characters: Marco, Kimi, Ivy and now Lucy come and join them for this special day. The ending though, Cal and Auri got their HEA and the deserve it. Now I am sad that this series is done but I cannot wait for what Caitlyn has for us next.

I so cannot wait for the 2026 F1 season to start and this book just tickled everything I needed.

The final installment in Auri and Callum’s story was everything I needed and so so soooo much more.

These two have had to navigate so many challenges and cross so many bridges to be where they are and finally seeing them both at peace and surrounded by the most important people just had my heart fluttering constantly.

The way they choose to show up for each other every damn day just kills me 😭🥹

This one hurt in the best way. This series has meant so much to me. These characters will live in my soul. The love I have for Cal and Auri is immeasurable. The love I have for Cait (the author) is endless. To be able to read each draft in its rawest form but also in its published form was special.

The love that Cal and Auri share can be felt from every single page. They had a hard fought battle on and off the track. They conquered every obstacle together with grace and the passion of two souls tied together for eternity. The Speed Demons series is special and phenomenal. Caitlyn’s writing is poetic. Also I am giddy knowing Marco and Ivy’s along with Kimmi and Lucy’s stories are coming! I don’t ever want to leave this world or these characters!

Great ending to Auri and Callums love story !

The romance and spice was 5🌶️ top tier !!

Their epic love blossoms to new heights while on their break vacation in Greece, which turned into the most amazing and intimate wedding with their closest friends.

Upon returning to the grid - Auri’s mission - CREATING THAT SHAKE UP - deems successful! And Cals retirement and their nuptials gets exposed with them handling the story of their lives.

Loved the way it ended.

The screens a little blurry as I write this but Cait you ended the series on the best note. I love every one of these characters more than any other series I’ve read. It’s my all time favorite series that cannot be summed up in a review. It’s full of heart, love, loss, triumphs, and trials. You took us all on a journey and fed us the most beautiful love story I have ever read. These two will live in my heart forever, the only way truly impactful characters do.

I have so many emotions about this book- it’s taken a whole day of processing to be able to review 😅

Everything about Caitlyn’s writing is truly incredible. If you haven’t read this series, you definitely should! It is full of vulnerability, real world problems and amazing spice 🌶️ Outside of the romance, I love that Caitlyn makes the F1 content easy to understand- especially if you know nothing of the sport (like myself)- as well as accurate!

I will truly never stop talking about this series 💖

This book was a brilliant conclusion to the Speed Demons Series. I absolutely loved this book and enjoyed reading how Callum and Aurélie's relationship developed. This book was well written, and I enjoyed how the story developed to its conclusion and how the relationships developed between Callum's family and Aurélie's family. This series has been a blast to read, and I can't wait to see what Caitlyn has in store next.

Finish Line is the final book in the 5-book Speed Demons series, and this is absolutely not a standalone — the books are fully connected and need to be read in order. The story follows Formula-1 drivers Callum Fraser and Aurélie Dubois as they try to balance elite racing careers with a relationship that has lived under pressure for years. In this installment, they’re no longer just fighting rivals and media attention — they’re figuring out what life looks like beyond the track. As the season progresses, both are forced to confront their future, their identities outside racing, and whether love can actually survive when the adrenaline fades. It’s much quieter and more reflective than earlier books, focusing on healing, stability, and choosing a life together.

First off, I was so thankful the author did a speedy release schedule because all four books prior ended in cliffhangers and I genuinely don’t think I could have survived waiting years between them. I loved getting to know all of the “grid gremlins” — Callum, Aurélie, Marco, Kimi, Ivy, and Lucy. Honestly, they became just as important to me as the main couple. I have a strong suspicion we are going to see a spin-off with some of them someday, but I’ll keep it spoiler-free here.

Finish Line wraps up Callum and Aurélie’s story in such a beautiful way. After everything they went through for four books, we finally get to witness their happy ending. Their journey was heartbreaking, devastating, and incredibly inspiring. The found family dynamic was amazing. These characters truly carried each other through the worst moments. Their relationship was hard-earned and the romance stayed passionate and intimate even after the big conflicts were over.

I’ve always loved how detailed Caitlyn is with the racing world — the paddock atmosphere has consistently been one of the best parts of the series — but unlike the first four books, this one focused much more on Aurélie and Callum outside of it. You get more quiet domestic moments, emotional conversations, and them learning how to just exist together without chaos constantly surrounding them.

I’ll be honest though: this series started extremely strong and I was hooked early on. Because of that, my expectations for the finale were very high. Unfortunately, book five didn’t hit quite as hard as I hoped. Parts of it felt a little forced and slightly lacklustre compared to the intensity of earlier books. Some of the major dilemmas built up across the series were wrapped up very quickly, and a few resolutions happened off-page when I really wanted to experience them with the characters.

Overall, I still feel satisfied — this book functions more as emotional closure than dramatic climax. If you’ve been invested in Callum and Aurélie from the beginning, the payoff is worth it.

Happy reading friends,
~ Maebae 💚

(I received an ARC for this book)

This is the final book in a connected series.

Trigger Warnings that can be considered spoilers will be at the bottom:
the dangers of racing (including an incident that causes bodily harm); high-pressure competitive environments; relationship trauma; difficult family dynamics (strained parental relationships, pressure, expectations); infidelity (not between MCs); emotional and psychological manipulation (not between MCs); themes of isolation, anxiety, and feeling unseen; moments of panic, emotional spirals, and self-doubt

All the emotions. And speechless on top of that. Mixed bag of feelings, and no way to express them. I love this series. Head over heals in love with everything it offers. Every page of heart and soul that pours out. The love bubble, which by the way is the strongest bubble I have ever witnessed, is so wonderful. THIS is the ending Callum and Aurelie deserved. With all the hardships throughout the series, we also got to get to know Cal, Aurie, and their besties (their biggest fans). And getting proper quality time with them was absolutely the cherry on top! The bliss of love, happiness, and family is absolutely perfect. I feel fully immersed into this world. I’m ready to go back at the first available moment!

I have an emotional word dump in each review for the series, so check those out for all of my attachment-ness

My Favorite Quotes:
• “You’re shaking already. One touch and I could have you crying. You want that? Want me to make you sob before dinner?”
• “You’re the only thing I believe in.”
• “I love you with every piece of me.”
• “You gave me myself.”
• “You terrify me as much as you turn me on.”
• “I am honored to have you up here with me.”

9/10 Dirty Birdy
10/10 Sports Romance
10/10 Series

This is my review for Overdrive
This is my review for Close Contact
This is my review for Flat Out
This is my review for Red Flagged

After five books, many tears, so many highs and honestly the lowest of lows, both personally and professionally, Aurélie and Callum end their run on the high note we've all been waiting for. Finish Line was well worth waiting for, was everything I knew I needed it to be and so much more. It's' clear the author poured her heart and soul into this series and I'm excited to read anything else she has in her. It's hard to leave a review for just one book in the series when they all built upon each other so I guess this is more of a series review.

Speed Demons is my first F1 romance series - I didn't know they existed before this! I didn't know what to expect but I'll tell you it wasn't this and I got more than I bargained for. I'm generally a quiet reader, experiencing all the feelings alone but these books evoked so many emotions that I actually DMed the author (never had done that) to let her know what these books were doing to me (in the very best way). The way the books took so many loose threads and wove them together into a storyline not only of the main characters, but of the teammates and family members. Teammates and family members I'd love to hear more about (hint, hint if you're reading Caitlyn!).

I'm not an F1 driver (obviously) but I could relate to Aurélie & Callum through all their relationship issues, the doubt, and regret and also through their professional troubles - imagine that some are the same that we all have! These are characters that will stay with me, that I will revisit, that I will tell everyone about. If book characters can be your friends, these people are now my friends.

I appreciate being able to ARC read all five books. My reviews are totally voluntary and totally my own opinions. I think if you read them they'll be yours too! Thank you to Caitlyn P Tajon for the world of Speed Demons!

what to expect:
*found family
*sports romance F1
*pierced MMC
*rivals to lovers (from book 1)
*HEA (no spoilers, the author has said this)
*5th book in 5 book series

I still don't really have the words but this book??
It was intense. These characters, Marco, Kimi, Ivy, now Lucy, and especially Auri and Cal have embedded themselves into my heart. There's no after Speed Demons, not when this series has ripped through my heart the way it has.

I am honored that I was able to experience this. That I was able to watch Auri and Callum grow both individually and together. The way they are there for each other in every moment, from start to finish even when the other wanted nothing but run away, to push the other away. They've healed parts of each other, they've thought would always stay broken. And to see that unconditional love, that choosing each other everyday has that kind of impact touched me so deeply. The amount of times that I, unexpectedly, related to all of them is actually insane. Reading about their healing and their troubles made me feel seen and I felt less alone because in this world of Speed Demons there's characters that have been through similar things.
After just the first book I knew this would forever be my comfort read. This whole series is so beautifully written and you can feel every emotion through the pages. The fact that Cait put so much if herself into it makes it even more meaningful.

It is so bittersweet to think that we've reached the Finish Line, because I am both thrilled that Cal and Auri got their happy end but I'm equally sad that their story is told and it's come to an end.

Cait, I am so proud of you for writing this, for sharing this with us, for making us feel seen. This is all you, this is your accomplishment, and I couldn't be happier for you. You did it and we're right here at the Finish Line with you 🥹🫶🏻

This book completely swept me away. It's a reminder just how intoxicating love can be—how it feels to fall head over heels, to surrender to devotion, and to discover the breathtaking beauty that lives inside our most hidden vulnerabilities. And those commitments and choices they bound themselves to, absolutely sealing the deal in the most satisfying way.

Watching the whole gang solidify their bonds is absolutely beautiful and heartfelt. There’s something so comforting about seeing their friendships, loyalty, promises and having each other's back always. There’s strength in unity, and this book celebrates that beautifully.

This story is a tribute to strong women who endure and rise, and to men who love with deep respect and unwavering support. It honors resilience, tenderness, and the kind of partnership that feels both fierce and safe.

Knowing Cait was navigating so much personally while writing this makes the book even more extraordinary. You would never feel that weight in these pages. The writing is rich, detailed, and deeply emotional — so personal and alive. There’s no hint of struggle behind the scenes, only heart — it reads like someone pouring so much of love into every page. That contrast alone makes the accomplishment so remarkable.

Following Cal and Auri from the very beginning to where they are now has been a bittersweet privilege. Watching their growth, their love, their fight for each other has been an honor to witness. I'm still not ready to let them go yet 😭.

Thank you, Cait, and team for letting us walk alongside them. This story and the whole series were nothing short of phenomenal and has firmly secured its place as one of my all-time favorite series.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5

& then it was over….😭😭
Finish Line definitely deserves all five stars from me, and Callum Fraser and Aurélie Dubois are why. Callum is your typical Type A F1 driver. He likes to be in control, precise with everything he does. he's careful, calculated, and always feels like he has the world on his shoulders when he's behind the wheel. Competitive AF in every aspect of his life, even outside racing. Which bleeds over into his personal life in some pretty hot ways. Aurélie did not scare easy, though. She's smart AF, doesn't let boys get to her, and highly capable. She is a beast on the track and I love that her story line fully paid tribute to women in sports and gave you insight into strong women. You definitely get your rivals-to-lovers vibes but it didn't feel too overly done. There's some quick, passionate hang the high times where it's all competition, but there's also some sweet scenes where hormones happen and you're just like...ah. Chemistry doesn't take over the story though, you really feel the emotion behind everything but the amount of spice was perfect. I loved watching Callum realize that racing and winning means nothing if you don't have someone who actually knows you. And watching Aurélie refuse to change who she was for a man who is used to women flocking at his every beck and call but loving him. The build, the banter, the competitiveness of their jobs...everything about this romance was insane but felt so realistic at the same time. Caitlyn really put her heart and soul into this entire series and being blessed to watch her work through it all is why she’s one of my faves. Loved this one if you haven’t started this series you really should!

The scenes in this book were so real and raw. I had goosebumps, tears, and was kicking my feet and squealing like a teenage girl!! Caitlyn’s writing is beautiful and to create something this series while going through hell behind the scenes is nothing short of amazing. I am however so sad that this series has come to an end but cannot wait to read whatever perfection Cait writes next.

Thank you, Caitlyn, for letting me ARC read this whole series and to be a member of the grid gemlins/pit chasers they are a pleasure to read and an honour too!

I cannot believe that Aurélie and Callum’s story is over, but what a perfect ending. This entire series has been emotional, but in such a beautiful way and Finish Line was no different. Aurélie and Callum are perfection. Their love is for each other unparalleled and the lengths they go to prove it.

The feral grid gremlins were, as always, chaotic perfection. The way Kimi, Marco and Ivy support Callum and Aurélie is what everyone wants in a friend group. I LOVED the set up for the next series throughout Finish Line. I am excited to still get to see this group because I’m obsessed with them. All of their scenes make me cackle.

Caitlin blew me away with this entire series. Her attention to detail throughout the entirety of it was superb. I always felt like I was living every moment right next to Callum and Aurélie. Caitlin has an incredible way of writing REALLY hard topics beautifully and with the utmost sensitivity. I am so excited to see where she takes us next in the Speed Demons series!
