Vitta is a strong character. She has a great intelligence network and temporarily runs her family’s Mafia. Vitta marries Luca to unite their powerful families. It took me a while to like Luca. He had problems and resented Vitta. The action is good. There are twists , betrayal , and steamy scenes. I will be reading the next book in the series.
DNF. So much repetition of scenes, paragraphs, lines. Also, a ton of discrepancies of little details where the character chose or did one thing and in the next chapter it had changed to something else. It’s like the author didn’t even read back through her own manuscript after writing. Shame, really, because the idea was a good one.
