"In the midst of the storm, He invites you to leave the boat---to leave your sinking symbol of security---to completely abandon your script. He invites you onto the raging water with Him. He encourages you to relinquish your last shred of personal security, to lose your grip on anything you might be holding onto, and risk it all by joining Him In the middle of the chaos. Embrace the storm. Enter into it."
"How long before spring blossoms with new life and energy?
How long? God knows how long---and that is enough. He has ordained the winter. He has chosen the cold. He has called the storm. It is really up to Him. As long as He desires. As long as He requires. As long as it takes Him to accomplish His purposes. Winter is in His hands, and thankfully I am too."
This book was such a blessing during the past months when my life has been off script. I highly recommend it!
