Trickshot and Lugnut’s story was one I had been eagerly waiting for ever since reading the first book! With all the tension, longing, and yearning Lugnut and Trickshot’s romance together was well worth the wait. With this being the second book in the “The Harmony” series, this book was a continuation of the first book’s plot line, but also expanding on Trickshot and Lugnut’s past and how they met, and formed such a deep bond. With Songbird, Shaw, and Firewall to round out the characters, there was plenty more action, secrets, and danger these characters found themselves in as they tried to help the city of Harmony from once again other nefarious people.
The great thing about this book was not only seeing Lugnut and Trickshot FINALLY get together, but also having some “then” and “now” chapters showed exactly how Lugnut and Trickshot met, to even the lives they led before they met. With Lugnut’s backstory and past, I didn’t know he was a former mobster like what?? But I also found it interesting because, Lugnut’s past life was filled with danger and leading part of the business his mobster father was in control of. Even learning about the rigorous training Trickshot’s mother put her through and how it molded her into the killing machine she became. Both, Trickshot and Lugnut previously lived lives that served their parents wants, but it wasn’t what THEY wanted for themselves. Lugnut and Trickshot have come a long way from their past, and to see them living their lives in a way to help the city of Harmony and carve out their own happiness with their friends was good.
Trickshot and Lugnut were equally both badass in their own ways, and I loved getting to see the moment they finally broke down the final barrier of their feelings and gave into the many years of feelings for each other! I could understand why Trickshot and Lugnut spent years maintaining their friendship, but I won’t lie and say it wasn’t so satisfying to see those two finally KISS and put years of longing to rest, and finally do what they secretly wanted for such a long time. I also loved getting to see the moments Lugnut and Trickshot shared together because, most of what they do is also steeped in danger, but those stolen moments together were happy and another level of deep intimacy that was passionate, and raw. For people who have been waiting for Trickshot and Lugnut’s story, I think you’ll be happy to see how it all plays out.
Overall, this was a great book. I finally got Trickshot and Lugnut’s story and it made me happy to see those two finally in a ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP! Long time waiting for those two, and it was great. I liked how the plot line in this story not only continued from the first book, but also expanded even more to how it connected to both Lugnut and Trickshot’s past. Once I got to the end of this book it left me feeling shocked because, with everything that went down especially towards the end, I had a feeling a certain someone was going to have a bigger part in the next book. The ending of this book makes me wonder what will happen in this next book, and further excited to see how it’ll connect to the overall storyline.

This is book two of the Harmony Series! You get to follow Trickshot and Lugnut! Trickshot walked away from the cage she was kept in to help people in need. Lugnut was working his way to the top of the family business until he wasn’t. Life has ways of bringing you to the places and people you didn’t know you needed. The mission is still to restore Harmony and take down the evil in the world, but the secrets that are unveiled may make that harder for them to do.
As someone that was obsessed with book one, I was so excited when book two was announced and guess what I am just as OBSESSED with this book too lol. I literally had to tell myself to take breaks because I couldn’t put it down and had responsibilities (gross lol) Rebecca and her husband have made this amazing world and these characters have seriously become some of my favorite characters to read. Seeing why Trickshot and Lugnut are the way they are was so interesting and definitely not what I expected but it helped the storyline but also made it more complicated at the same time. And the plotwists!!!!!! This was such a perfect balance of everything. The tension between Trickshot and Lugnut was definitely felt in book one and their chemistry in this book is chefs kiss, I think I am in love with Lugnut! The way he was with her would have me in an absolute puddle. Also I just want to give a shot out to the fact that the leading women in this series are all so badass and I wish I could be as cool as they are lol. I could on and on about this book because it is so amazing. Add this book to your TBR because you won’t regret it.
Side notes:
-Shaw saying “my wife”🥰🫠
-Need a Firewall book asap lol
-Ms Gertie🩷

Wow wow wow, I LOVED this book!!
I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of Trickshot, but all thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
Every time I read a Rebecca Wrights book, I am BLOWN away by her ability to create such an immersive story. I laughed, cried, freaked out, and wanted to scream while reading this book… unfortunately, I was on my break at work and could not do all of the above (can't let my coworkers in on the crazy quite yet lol).
Now, let's talk about LUGNUT AND TRICKSHOT because I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THEM.
The way Lugnut acts around Trickshot and the things he says to her had my heart MELTING. Everyone around these two could see they were in love, but neither of them would let themselves cross that line. Sir, ma'am, WHAT ARE WE DOING?!
And Lugnut being just a little extra protective of Trickshot? WHEW. The man who yearns, the flirting, the slow burn… Rebecca Wrights knew EXACTLY what she was doing with these two. And Trickshot teasing him along the way only made their dynamic even better. I absolutely LOVED watching them interact.
But beyond the romance, the overarching story continuing from Songbird had me absolutely hooked. I think Rebecca Wrights tied the two books together BEAUTIFULLY, and I loved seeing the bigger picture continue to unfold while still getting invested in Lugnut and Trickshot's relationship. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, constantly wanting to know what would happen next.
Between the slow-burn romance, the tension between two people who clearly have feelings for each other, and the bigger story unfolding around them, I desperately wanted to put my adult responsibilities on hold and just KEEP READING.
Props to Rebecca Wrights for writing another AMAZING story!! I am officially impatient for book three, and you can bet your ass I will be waiting for even the smallest rumor of what's coming next.

OH MY GOSH!!!! 🥰 Trickshot and Lugnut, my babies! I love them so so so much!
I was lucky to receive an E-arc of Trickshot and I absolutely loved this. It was such a well done continuation of what we started with Songbird and the powers at play trying to control Harmony. I love how Rebecca wove in family connections with Mastermind and our main group. I need to know WHO Mastermind is and how they take down ANGEL like now!
Triskshot! My beautiful, badass, yet soft when she wants to be Queen! My circus freak! I loved getting to know her deeply. She is such a mix of things- strong and a killer shot yet insecure and soft. Brave yet scared. It was beautiful to see her learn to open up and accept it’s okay to not always be strong around certain people. It’s okay to be sad, scared…. You don’t always have to be this badass, cheerful assassin! Watching her accept her feelings for Lugnut was so special. Watching her face her cunt of a mom and know she has people in her corner now was beautiful! I love her. I love her depth and her duality.
Lugnut! 😭😍 absolutely obsessed with this man and his journey was so so so special + well done. I don’t have any ties to disability or the community but I’m glad to see more and more disabled main characters appear in romance books. It’s so important to portray them as normal and desirable love interests and this does that so well. Lug is so much more than his injury. He’s loyal, kind, a bit grumpy but a good guy. He’d have his friend’s backs any day. Reading about him gaining more confidence in himself even with his injury was so lovely. And the spice 😍😍😍him and Trick had some SEXY scenes! The shower?! The hotel scene where she rides him while he’s still in his wheelchair? I was sweating! I love him. I love them together. And i hate how his father ended up being an absolute ass.
I can’t wait for Firewall’s book!

✨ARC REVIEW✨
This book was was perfect, it had me on the edge of my seat from the first page all the way through. I actively struggled to put it down. It was the perfect continuation to the harmony series and I loved getting to experience these characters again and learn more about them. I loved how Trickshot and Lugnut came together and how their relationship was formed and strengthened. I appreciated how we got to learn about their pasts and I also love how Wright has interconnected every characters story in some way to each other. The ending was insane and I look forward to figuring out just what that cliffhanger meant. If your someone who isn’t sure how they deal about fantasy or dystopian novels I really recommend you give this series a try and start by reading the first book as that background context really helps better and understand this novel but it also makes this novel so much better after seeing how slow of a burn Trickshot and Lugnuts relationship is.

This. Freaking. Book!!
I felt all the emotions reading through it, biggest being that trickshot and Lugnut deserved their HEA. All the times I read them in songbird, I was rooting for them!
My flabbers were gasted, i was holding on for dear life in here, their stories and feelings and what became was something I was almost not prepared for. The tears I shed, the happiness I felt, the smiles I had, and let me just say I love some badass women!
This series will always be one of my favourites and I am forever grateful to have ARC read both books now! It honestly is perfection in my eyes, you can’t tell me any different!
THE ENDING THOUGH?? THE F!! I’ll be staring at the wall for the next 2 business days rethinking everything.

Holy hell what did I just read?!?
I love Trickshot always have and her relationship with Lugnut. Both characters get even better throughout the whole book. Their background both together and apart is fascinating. The love they have for each other is mesmerizing & I need more of them.
This book dives so deep into some very emotional topics and I was not ready for all the emotions this book has in it. I was on the edge of my seat for so many of the scenes in this book. I can’t believe the way it all unfolded and the drama.
If you have not read Songbird you do need to read it first for this all to make sense.

So grateful to have been a part of the beta reader team for Trickshot! This got an easy 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I seriously adore the characters Rebecca has created - I’m so invested in their stories! This book seriously took me on a rollercoaster!! I felt everything: love, anger, sadness, happiness…you name it, I felt it.
I was hooked the entire time. The slow burn between Trickshot and Lugnut was sooo good 🔥 The tension and buildup were perfect, and I was literally screaming when they finally stopped ignoring their feelings 🤭
And that ending?? I already need book 3 & book 2 isn’t even officially out yet 😅
I cannot wait to see where Rebecca continues to take these characters ✨

Life is bleak in Harmony, but through it all I loved their family of five misfits. They may come from different backgrounds, but together they stand strong.
The mutual pining between Trickshot and Lugnut was so good ever since the first book, and here it finally materialises into something more. While there was deception and betrayal throughout, the one true thing that I never doubted was how strong their love for each other was.
I can’t wait to find out what happens next in the series.

I can honestly say that I enjoyed this sequel more than the first book. The first paragraph had me hooked and I lost a lot of sleep from staying up reading every night.
