Everyone knows that demons don’t exist. They live in the same realm of superstitious beliefs alongside unicorns, Big Foot and Santa Claus. Any stories that you hear about haunted dolls, Ouija boards or whispering into mirrors at midnight are just that. Stories. Harmless hypotheticals for the brain to indulge in when it has nothing better to do.
For Ancient History & Occult Sciences major, and granddaughter of a mortician, Quincey Sterling, this has always been painfully obvious. As far as she is concerned, spooky occurrences and paranormal events can always be chalked up to coincidence and the mind playing a few cruel tricks on itself, just for the hell of it.
So, when she stumbles across an ancient spell book on Halloween, some supernatural themed fun feels both seasonally appropriate and a little too irresistible to refuse. When an unexpected visitor turns up at her door, she finds herself stuck in a contract with a monster worse than nightmares. Quincey’s only option is to see her bargain through.
But surviving a monster is easy when your life is already hell.
After a string of distressing incidents that draws her and her companion closer together, Quincey finds her stoic cynicism wavering for the first time. Unfortunately, she’s not the only one who knows about the book. Sought out by a malicious cult, Quincey will do anything to protect her new life and the beautiful monster that makes it worth living.
OHMYGOD. I’ve got this arc copy from the author and I was a bit skeptical but OHMYGOD. I don’t know how I will survive until book 2 in duology when the first book hasn’t been release yet 😭

Malediction was absolute perfection to read and definitely one to look out for when it’s released in February 2026. This book absolutely saved me from a reading slump and I flew through this. Stevie’s writing style was just everything and more! I’m really hoping we can one day get physical copies of this book because there were so many incredible quotes that I would love to annotate and highlight.
We follow the story as Quincey accidentally summons a grumpy demon that swiftly becomes a thorn in her side. Quincey and Thallor initially find each other insufferable and infuriating - I really loved the banter and humour that we get from their forced proximity.
There’s also a twist in this book that I did not see coming and I need to speak to someone about it!
“Hell is a breath of fresh air compared to you”

Malediction is a new adult paranormal romance perfect for fans of the spice level of Deep End by Ali Hazelwood and the paranormal heart of Good Spirits by B.K. Borison! It’s a cozy romance about a college student, Quincey, who accidentally summons a (hot) demon named Thallor and finds herself stuck in a contract with him. The couple’s chemistry flies off the page, and the book is a perfectly spooky, sweet & steamy romance to keep you warm this winter.
“Nothing in my four hundred and seventy-three years could have prepared me for you. I have spent a lot of my life gazing upon beautiful things, but I know when looking at you that not one of those things could ever compare. When you’re around, I find it difficult to see anything else but you.”
A paranormal romance set in a small town and following Quincey Sterling, a university student there, Malediction answers the age-old question—what does one do when one accidentally summons a demon who has a fondness for jam and romance novels?
The vibes from this were so good! I really liked the small town setting, from the old antique shop to the (admittedly run-down) bar Quincey works at, and enjoyed how the eerie strangeness over everything affected the book’s overall mood and atmosphere. Additionally, on the writing side, there were some really beautiful long passages (most notably about grief) that stood out to me in particular, though i did feel like the time frame of the whole book was a little blurry—and there were also some big time jumps, which i wasn’t a huge fan of as it left some developments in character relationships feeling a bit rushed.
Quincey was such a relatable heroine, but also one with a lot of heart. As a fellow social anxiety (and anxiety in general) girlie, how she goes through life made me feel so seen, and it was sweet to read knowing the author poured so much of her own anxieties and traits into her. I also spent most of the book wanting to rob her wardrobe. All the descriptions of her outfits were so good!
On the other hand, i feel Thallor didn’t have as much character development as Quincey. Though i really liked his general grumpiness and personality, how he didn’t open up as much left me feeling a little disconnected from him as a character. His relationship with Quincey was cute, although i do wish the time jumps had shown more of the progession from reluctant roommates to lovers! Nevertheless they were sweet, and i did love how Thallor slowly wore away Quincey’s walls and cynicism with his care for her and (over)protectiveness.
I’ll definitely be picking up book two when it releases!
(many thanks to Stevie Knight for this digital arc! all thoughts and opinions are my own.)
who wouldn’t love the hot, rude and grumpy demon who just wants to go back to hell BUT this girl accidentally summoned him! and he’s cute like wdym he went to her lecture so she wouldn’t have to sit alone (and for another reason but who cares)?!!!!!! and sweet and actually super tolerable HELP hes also pleasantly freaky
and Quincey is actually relatable like pls we’re all a bit weird you’re perfect I promise ☹️
and that ending killed me, stevie you’re evil I swear
I finished this gorgeous book which is out on the 2nd Feb! I’ve not really dipped my toe into much paranormal romance but I can certainly see the appeal with demons now!
If you like a slow burn, demon x human and small town vibes, definitely check this out next month!!!
I thought I was going to be biased when it came to Stevie’s book because of our friendship but honestly I have no bad word to say about this piece of art!! (and I speak my truth)
It is everything you could want, a bit of paranormal fantasy, friendships, love (I cried), comedy (I laughed out loud) yearning, spice, quirks. Everything was so relatable and so natural it honestly felt like looking in the mirror. She has a way with words that makes things just make sense, it’s honestly incredible!
Nothing in the book was too fast, or too slow - so much explained and so much happened but without it being ever confusing, it just worked! I simply don’t know how else to explain it!!
I have never tabbed/ highlighted a book ever in my life and this was the first time I had the urge, the urge to remember moments in the book that truely spoke to me
Please please please pick up this book, I promise you will NOT regret it!! Can’t wait to recommended to everyone I know!!
"I just wanted to do something nice. I wanted you to stop glaring at me everytime I opened my mouth. Which, in hindsight, has not worked out in my favour."
"You gave me an erotic romance novel as a gesture of good will?"
Quincey and Thallor....these two gave me LIFE baby LIFE!! I felt such a connection with Quincey. Liking and collecting vintage things. Loving movies from the 80s. Caring for her best friends. Being an odd ball and having a hard time making friends. That girl spoke to my heart and I absolutely loved her style. Plus her internal conversations were absolutely fantastic. But what I loved most was her dedication to her grandparents. The way she would do ANYTHING for them no matter what. And that is what brought Thallor banging at her front door.
The way you can tell he dislikes her but his eyes give away EVERYTHING!!! And Quincey trying to be civil but also calling him out on his shit when needed. She also wasn't afraid to stand her ground and see Thallor for what he was.
Slowly these two start to form a routine that they just fall into step with one another and it is so beautiful to see. Her walls are slowly dropping around him and she is finding out that love is something she can have...that it is something that is possible for her. She had only ever seen three people in love never knowing it was something she could have.
"When I look at that book now, Sterling, I see home. I see us. I see you. You are woven into every good memory I have in my life. Every beautiful memory. The centuries of being trapped were worth it when the prize is you."
The book leaves on a heart breaking cliffhanger and I cried my eyes out.
This book is so beautiful, the words so elegant yet it was so funny and touching. Yes there are some things that I do have questions about. Some things I think could be tweaked but I'm in love with this book. With these characters who found a home with one another.

The DMC (Demon Main Character), Thallor, is an extremely grumpy ginger demon with a gold hoop earring (I mean, so hot) and I loved his arc throughout the book.
But the best part of the book for me was the protagonist, Quincey. I found the way she was written to be very honest. She's someone who struggles with her mental health and has a lot of anxiety which makes her overthink most interactions and situations, and this being narrated from her point of view allowed me to truly understand her.
In Stevie Knight's Malediction, readers go on a journey that goes through a rollercoaster of emotions and answers the question what would I wish for if I could wish for anything.
Quincey Sterling is an occult science major attending university with her two best, albeit only friends since childhood, and she likes it that way. Like any college student, she attends classes, hates her professors, works part-time at a bar, and has a diet that consists mainly of Fruit Loops and gummy worms. When she stumbles upon an ancient text, she decides to try and summon a demon. With her major being what it is, her curiosity, and penchant for movies, she jokes wondering what would happen if it were to come true. Well, it does. Now, she summons Thallor Malphas, a demon from Hell. Quincey forms a pack with him to grant her three wishes, but since she isn't prepared to make them as she must consider the ramifications of her wording, now Thallor has no choice but to wait for her until she does. Together, they become awkward roommates who eventually understand each other like no one has before.
First off, I enjoy the fact that Quincey reminds me of myself when I went to college, in being that I enjoyed my selective group of friends, going to class despite the fact that some of my professors shouldn't teach, and I somehow survived being on a diet of fast food. Even with her close to graduating, she's still pondering what she wants to do with her degree outside of college life. Plus, her love for nostalgic movies and being able to quote them is something I do on a regular basis. Now, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has ever wondered what it would be like to summon something, like a genie, and be granted wishes. Personally, I'm not sure what I would wish for, so I understand the hesitation Quincey has with her wishes from Thallor.
Her relationship with Thallor is cute, and I enjoyed that the author spent a chunk of the story developing their relationship with one another. They start off, if anything, annoyed with one another, and live with the awkward unsaid tension between the two. Eventually, they start to see each other in a new light where their lives become happier than they've ever been before. It's the little gestures and acts of service towards one another that bring them closer than they have ever been with someone in their lifetime. Even her relationship with her friends is funny, and her relationship with her grandparents is cute, healing especially for those who have never experienced that kind of relationship with their family members.
All in all, I enjoyed reading this story. Quincey's inner monologue is akin to my own. Her relationship with Thallor is deep. I can only assume that in the next novel we'll see our characters try and figure out how to get themselves out of the debacle they've found themselves in, while amping up the paranormal and love.
I received an advance reader copy of this book from Stevie Knight for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. My intentions are to write feedback that reflects my genuine thoughts and is written with the book’s genre and target audience in mind. I aim to review fairly and respectfully, focusing on the story’s purpose.
Thank you Stevie for sending me this book, it was truly a delight!
One thing Stevie and I definitely agree on is that this world needs more redheaded MMCs. Well, she delivered. Quincey has so much willpower, because I would have probably kissed Thallor much earlier than she did 🫣 they were so cute together, I didn’t expect a demon to blush but it was adorable! So was his addiction (can we call it that?) to a particular genre.
“I often think about what it would be like to be locked in a broom closet with her.” - change ‘her’ to ‘him’ and this would be something I would say - if you know me, you know.
Really enjoyed Quincey’s inner monologue and interests, how cozy Darling felt, the budding relationship and Stevie’s captivating writing overall. She has a way with words, this is the kind of prose that I love in romance novels, and she has the potential of becoming a big writer.
One question about Thallor though: How does no one question his red eyes? I tried to imagine that everyone accepts that this dude is just an edgy guy who always wears contact lenses or only Quincey can see his real eye colour. Or is this an alternate universe where red eyes are normal? So many questions. This is personal preference but I was so desperate to know what happened immediately after certain confessions! You cannot just jump forward after that, Stevie 😩 tell me what happened, what did Quincey do?
Sometimes I wasn’t sure where certain scenes were going or how those elements would fit into the story. For example I would have preferred more details about the Church sprinkled in or more about Isaac and Esme to make the events even more dramatic as everything unfolded. At times it felt like suffering from whiplash when things went from sweet to horrifying and back to sweet again. I also needed a bit more buildup between Quincey and Thallor, more banter. I had a theory that Quincey’s life is falling apart because Thallor or - even better - another demon is creating problems for her so she’ll use her wishes quicker. Although I wasn’t proven right, I wasn’t proven wrong, either.
I liked the story and am looking forward to book 2!
Ugh, the COVER! <3 I know we’re not reviewing the cover but still <333
Obligatory “I received an advanced review copy in exchange for my honest review.”
First of all I loved all the characters, but Quincey has my whole heart. I’ve read a lot of books centring around a shy, awkward main character, and oftentimes I find they fall a bit flat. But Quincey’s brand of awkwardness reminded me a lot of my own, where she does freeze up, she does say the wrong thing, she does say STUPID (but funny ehehe) things, and I am HERE for that.
I especially loved her interactions with Thallor, like never mind that he’s a legit demon who is now stuck with her and who may or may not own her soul by the end of this, she’s still full of delightfully cringeworthy sass. I loved every time she inwardly freaked out wondering why the hell she said something, because that is my life in a nutshell.
Thallor’s going to get pages upon pages of love in the reviews (and thank you to the author for teaching us how to catch a demon’s heart - all it takes is strawberry jam!), so I’m going to turn my focus to my nomination for Best Girl 2026, Esme. I adore when the “MC’s best friend” character actually plays a part in the story and doesn’t get sidelined once the love interest appears, and she’s also just so WHOLESOME awwh <33
Also - also? The other reviews weren’t kidding about the massive cliffhanger at the end! I love a sleepy, romantic little plot with some darkness threaded throughout, and Enemy Demon Cult is my FAVOURITE kind of darkness! If I were to offer one critique, it’s that I would have loved to see the cult appear earlier in the story so we could see more of it (although I have my suspicions that Mr Pocketful of Peanuts was also part of the cult).
Huge thank you to the author for giving me the chance to review this book! I had so much fun reading from start to finish <3
Thank you so much, Stevie, for trusting me with your babies 🖤
I genuinely don’t even know where to start with this one, but first of all, thank you to doomscrolling, because if I hadn’t been on Instagram Reels, I never would’ve discovered this when I did. Dick-shaped candle? Say no more.
Malediction is a paranormal romance between our FMC, Quincey, and a demon named Thallor, yes, an actual demon, who she accidentally summons. On a late Halloween night, post-party at a frat house, she opens a strange book she bought from an antique shop and gathers everything she needs for the spell. She doesn’t think anything will happen… it’s just a silly book, right?
“Demon of darkness, prince of hell, I beckon you forward with one simple spell.”
Except she does summon a demon, and he just so happens to be the most handsome being she’s ever laid eyes on. Red hair, built like a god, and very much real. Her very own demon, Thallor, here to grant her three wishes.
But what happens when feelings start to kindle for the moody demon? When he begins to care for a human who can’t even decide how to use her wishes?
Malediction is for the girls who love a slow burn. For the girls who love reading about a man yearning for the woman he’s obsessed with (I mean… he was watching all her favourite movies just to memorise her favourite quotes). And for the girls who feel deeply.
I cried. I laughed. I definitely turned fifty different shades of red 👀 And I absolutely loved this book.
This is your sign to read Malediction, out February 2nd, because it will change your life (maybe I need to try a spell for myself).
Forced proximity, age gap, slow burn and a hot, red headed demon? Say less. I knew immediately that I needed to read this. Thallor immediately won me over while Quincey was so relatable it hurt. I adored the sweet moments between them. I can’t resist a book with a cute black cat either. I giggled, got frustrated, and hurt for these characters. Overall This was a really fun ARC to read. This slow burn paranormal romance has a deep inner monologue from the FMC and a MMC who can’t get enough of jam and spicy romance novels. Did I mention he’s got a green thumb and takes care of her?
Tropes/ What to expect Forced Proximity Slow Burn Age Gap Grumpy X Anxious A lot of John Hughes movie references Attempted kidnapping (SA is hinted at) Graphic Violence Grief and Depression
Now. I did think there wasn’t enough on page banter/lead up between the two characters. I found the time jumps overused and honestly really frustrating at times. I often felt a little whiplashed by how often the vibe changed and how the plot was kind of everywhere. This book felt like it was 80% inner monologue and I did find myself skimming over it often as it got really repetitive and felt like just a lot of filler to make the book longer. The ending also felt really rushed to me. Overall I did enjoy reading but it felt like this book was thrown together to lead up to the second book and I’m not sure if I’ll read it once it comes out.

It doesn't matter how slow the slow burn is, if it burns with hellfire...
What a ride it has been to read about Quincie and Thallor's story. Who would have guessed that what started as a History & Occult Sciences student summoning a demon with a spell found in a book (bought at an antique shop) and some ingredients (among them a black cock-shaped candle), would end up being the most heartwarming and heartbreaking story that it ended up being. Tethered by a spell, our MCs begin the most awkward roommate situation in history (with the company of a stray cat-turned house cat called Mortimer). But with time, old movies, lots of jam, Hawaiian pizzas and gummy worms, their relationship begins to morph into one of openness, authenticity and salvation. The way Stevie Knight develops each one of the MCs is simply beautiful, and let's not forget about the perfect ensemble of secondary characters (in which there's also a cat, yes) you'll ever find, which bring so much more depth to the story. Her ability to prolong a slow burn in a way that spice is not even necessary, is also something that can't be ignored, because that's simply one of the many great things about this book. But...yes, there's always a but... because since 'nobody puts my baby in a corner', I hope that Stevie makes up for that cliffhanger ending in book 2, because that left me feeling like Phoebe when she finds out Santa isn't real.
I received an ARC of this book and I'm giving my opinion freely.
In addition to reminding me of @nadinemutasauthor 's Urban Fantasy trilogy, it described several emotionally profound and dark situations: grief, loss, sexual abuse and feelings of helplessness.
Although I hoped it would be a fairly light read, it turned out to be quite the opposite. And yet, despite this, I really loved it. But like any self-respecting #enemies-to-lovers story, our protagonists not only have a difficult time during the first few months of forced cohabitation, but the situations surrounding Quencey degenerate both in her private life and elsewhere, beyond her control.
And it is precisely here that the girl realises that, after all, having a demon at her service can be useful in situations of real danger and, unfortunately, in the most desperate moments of life.
But just when things between Thallor Malphas and Quencey Sterling start to get serious, fate decides to intervene and bring down their perfect house of cards...
Can't wait to read the second one, as soon as possible!!
Quincey is an introvert, with such extrovert friends. She runs across a book and knowing Quincey you know she’ll have to do something about it never expecting to actually summon a demon. Thallor seems to be a lost souls despite him being a demon, he learns things through Quincey he feels things towards her that he’s never felt before. The bond these two form is something that could not be broken as easily or so we thing. Quincey never believed in love for herself until he came around.
Oh Thallor, the demon you are. Am I heartbroken ? YES. Am I a little you know upset ? Maybe, but wow what a freaking ending ! I really never expected that. I did expect something but NOT THAT. Anyways this was honestly a sweet read at first with a bit of assholery? Thallor was a jerk for his reasons and Quincey was just a sweet soul with a very unique personality that some didn’t appreciate btw, and her sweet friends ah, I love them. I really can’t wait for the next book ! May Thallor not be on my bad side for long.
even though it’s only happened on two occasions, i always feel so deeply honoured when stevie sends me her book before publication. ‘a crescent fable’ was my first proper glimpse at her talent, but ‘malediction’ completely consumed me. i finished it in a DAY, which is unheard of for me with anything that isn’t fanfiction!! and i highlighted the hell out of it, too.
one of my favourite things about stevie’s writing is her wit. there’s this constant, subtle humour that runs through everything and makes her entire world feel lived in. without it, i don’t think i would’ve connected with quincey as intensely as i did. the whole book is in her POV, and because of stevie’s writing style, i felt as though i was experiencing everything AS quincey instead of merely watching her story play out before me. her emotions spilt right into me, and i think that’s what made ‘malediction’ so addicting.
her whole journey spoke to me on a deeply personal level. her views on love, the world and how she fits into it… it was like she was holding a mirror to my goddamn face. i absolutely adored watching her walls crumble, how she realises that she’s fully capable of having that movie-type of love story, y’know (even tho most of the film references flew over my head lmao).
and thallor? as a demon, he had no business being as charming as he was. he’s absolutely an asshole at first (and his insults had me crying with laughter), but can you blame him? this random girl literally summoned him with a c*ck-shaped candle?? then he started trying for her, and my crying became CRYING. he goes from outright sarcasm to slowly learning how quincey works, adapting to her rhythm and familiarising himself with her likes and dislikes. hello?? the small but meaningful moments genuinely killed me. obliterated me. stevie doesn’t over exaggerate them either, just lets them land quietly on their own. no dramatic cues or her yelling at me “LOOK AT THEM!!” and again, it’s bc it felt like i was living in those moments instead of witnessing them.
that, in my opinion, speaks volumes about stevie’s skill.
im legally not allowed to touch on the PILE of emotions this book pulled from me (spoilers, y’know), so all i can do is say that ‘malediction’ makes you FEEL. an easy five stars. hit every beat for me—from the voice to the emotions and relationship, it literally kept me hooked from beginning to end. i need everybody to read it immediately. counting down the days until i can speak freely.
This was a fun book with demons, magic, cults and emotions told entirely through one point of view. Quincey is a college student who summons a hot demon named Thallor and at first, she didn't think the summoning worked. There's a lot of humor when he tries to convince her otherwise. Eventually she realizes it is real life and he tells her that he has to grant her 3 wishes to be able to leave. They end up begrudgingly living together while she decides her wishes so we get forced proximity bonding. There's a lot of banter between them so it was super entertaining to read. Also she is definitely attracted to him from the minute she saw him, but he is just mean to her so definitely a slow burn start. I liked the underlying plot in the book involving her friends. I enjoyed this book and I will definitely be reading the next book, especially after that ending.
ARC read - This is a paranormal romance set in a small, gothic-feeling town between a human and a summoned demon.
Single POV Paranormal Grumpy x Anxious Forced Proximity Demon x Human Small town Quirky cat that prefers the demon (go figure!) Spice 2 chilli peppers out of 5
Our FMC is Quincey, a human girl studying at a local, wealthy, but creepy college. She has social anxiety, and I found her very relatable. She is the POV we follow and see her through stress, grief and trauma.
Our MMC is Thallor, a demon that Quincey summons. He was such a fun vibe. I found he added to the spooky, paranormal, eerie atmosphere of the whole book.
Overall, I loved the vibe of this book. I found it a little long, but this is purely my taste, as I saw other reviews that adored the pages dedicated to grief and other themes.
This is such a nice read! But it comes with plot twists so get ready!
The MMC, Thallor, is broody on the outside but secretly warm and protective on the inside — he absolutely stole my heart right away 🖤
The FMC, Quincey, is an old soul. Her quirkiness and love of all things vintage was absolutely adorable. Her anxious nature made her relatable and easy to connect with.
If you love comfort snacks, a cute black cat, and classic John Hughes movies, this book will feel like it was written for you. The 80s references were woven in so perfectly — nostalgic, fun, and full of charm — and I found myself smiling every time one popped up. It added so much heart and personality to the story. I’ll be waiting for Book 2 with my gummy worms and Hawaiian pizza in hand.
Oh my goodness, I loved this book—far more than I expected to. The character development of Quincey and Thallor is beautifully done and handled with so much sensitivity. I could genuinely feel Quincey’s anxiety and emotional turmoil in several scenes, which made her incredibly easy to connect with. And I’m a little in love with Thallor myself.
The subplots added depth without ever pulling focus from the main story; everything felt intentional. And that ending—seriously?! The plot twist completely wrecked me. I was in tears and immediately wanted more.
Dark, emotional, and surprisingly tender, this story has truly stuck with me. Highly recommend Malediction.
*I received and ARC of Malediction from the author and my review is my own and honest opinion.* I had a really hard time getting through this at first because I am just not a huge fan of romance. I loved Quincey and she reminds me so much of myself (social anxiety is a huge issue with me) and so I could understand her completely. Thallor seems more like a grumpy 😠 golden retriever rather than a demon. This book really picked up at the very end when all the suspenseful heartbreaking 💔 action took place. Can't wait to see how book 2 turns out.
Malediction is the kind of cozy (but still dark 😈) fantasy I’m here for. Set in the present day, we meet FMC Quincey and the sexy demon MMC Thallor, who she summons when life seems to be at its worst. Grumpy but protective, Thallor becomes the only thing on her mind. But he can’t stick around forever, can he? I throughly enjoyed following their story, watching them bond over snacks, old movies and spicy books. As they say, to be known is to be loved ❤️
That ending killed me! I love Thallor with all my heart! He is amazing book boyfriend, demon and all! I might try summoning him! The way He took care of Quincey was beautiful! The banter was really fun too! I laughed, I cried, I swooned! I had great time reading it!
Absolutely brilliant! Malediction is an exciting and gripping read for anyone who enjoys dark fantasy with strong characters and high stakes. It is quite hard for me to find a book that really captivates my attention, but Stevie Knight has written a book where my eyes were glued to the page. Best book I have read in months!
I love me a paranormal demon (mmc) romance and so regret not reading this arc sooner.
What I liked: how the fmc is a bit non social butterfly but has enough friends (two) to make her feel social enough. Her humor. The mmc reads smut. The build up and meet up. The black cat. Both the fmc and me are in college. The dynamic between them. This was definitely a slow burn because the fmc is very much attracted to him when they first meet but by 40% ish we finally get something but still wait almost to the end for the actual explicit content. The ending had me on the edge of my seat “no f***** way”. I need book 2.
What i didn’t like: at the beginning it kind of felt like the fmc friend was a bit pushy seemed to not take the fmc feelings into consideration. The romance wasn’t fast paced but the rest did feel a bit fast paced (that or maybe because i couldn’t stop reading it)
Side note: I don’t know why it confused me when the fmc would call her grandma by her first name. Also wished we had more scenes of mmc using his demon powers. Also I kind of knew it would end on a cliffhanger because of the side characters.
I friend recommended me this book and I was a little dubious at first but now…I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK! Stevie has written it so well! I think i will read again not gonna lie🤭🤭
